My reception was great. Very nice and relaxing stay for the most part. I really enjoyed talking with the receptionist daily when I was heading out for the day. The location is in the nicely located in the middle of old town. Room was relaxing, the bed was comfortable. The dinner I had at the Gasthaus was delicious. I was there for 4 days with a view of one of the main walkthroughs so if you are a late sleeper, you might here some noise out there from local workers and restaurant across from you from time to time. It didn't bother me that much as the windows were closed. There is a Dyson fan in the room if it gets too hot for some. Loved the coffee and hot water machines in the room. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Perfect location with a delightful host!”
The absolute BEST thing about this property is Urika, the delightful receptionist! After difficulties finding the place, then more difficulties parking our car, she made us comfortable with a hot towel and cool drink then showed us around. Nothing was too much trouble and she was happy just to explain anything we were unsure about. The location is magical and we had a room that looked down into the street below. The bathroom is beautifully equipped with a rain water shower head that felt like we were showering under a warm waterfall! There was even a pretty little roof top terrace where we sat and watched the stars come out . The most disappointing thing was the bed that was so hard, I found it difficult to sleep. We would recommend this little hotel but suggest that management invest in new beds or mattress toppers.

As soon as we got in the hotel, it felt like home. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are big. Good coffee and tea selection. The food at Gasthof restaurant downstairs was delicious and they are very generous with the servings of their drinks. Service was superb.

AMAZING place”
This place was everything my wife and I were looking for. A six hundred years old structure, with great modern amenity in the room. Owner has paid great attention to every possible details in the room. It was just amazing. Great staff will feel you at home from check in to check out. In the heart of Salzburg, close to sightseeing, river walk, restaurants, shopping center. I would certainly stay in this place again if back in Salzburg. I strongly recommend hotel Goldgasse to couples. Just one minor thing. The hotel is in small alley, hotel restaurant is on ally level, and there are other shops and restaurants nearby. Naturally you will start hearing noises early morning, Restaurant and shops need to get ready for business. My wife and I did not mind that. We rather wake up early. Chao

Myself and my Girlfriend stayed for the one night after a skiing break up in the mountains and the location of Goldgasse, the staff were absolutely brilliant, the room was very spacious and would definitely recommend this Hotel as a perfect place for a few nights in this lovely city

Great location near touristic sites in city center. Easy reach by bus from central station. Small yet very nice modern decorated room with everything you may need for a stay (solo taveler) nice snd big bathroom. The lady at the chek in was so nice. They offer the mini bar with water, juice and cola for free and u will ne recharged if u use the refill. In general i loved it and i would stay at the same hotel if i visit Salzburg again.

Very close to main attractions and the shopping area. Hermès and LV are just 2 mins away! Hotel is nice and clean! Staff are good too.

Beautiful hotel and staff”
Beautiful boutique hotel, thoughtful little touches like a welcome bag filled with goodies. The staff were what made the experience exceptional. Lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant. One negative was that it was a cold night, and the wall heater took hours to heat up the room. Was shivering between the sheets!

We were fortunate enough to book Hotel Goldgasse for our Salzburg stay to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. Everything about this hotel was great— from the reception and welcome drink we received at check in; the recommendations on what to do and see; to the delicious celebratory dinner we enjoyed. A gem in the center of old Salzburg”
Quick one day trip to Salzburg. This hotel is cozy (as warm feeling) but spacious and lovely. Very friendly staff, they make you feel home. I was in love with every details in the room. The hotel is a prime location, right in the old part of the city, yet just a few minutes walking distance to the Mirabell gardens and the Mozart birth house. Totally worthy!

No air conditioner in rooms. Fan provided and with window open there was no problems. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back to this hotel.
