Spacious clean rooms, 10 minute bus ride to town”
First time in Brunei and we stayed two nights at D Anggerek. Our room a Queen sized double was exceedingly spacious and everything you would expect from a quality serviced apartment. Of all the places to stay in this price range it will take a lot to beat, especially with the added bonus of being given a menu to choose your included breakfast. A short ten minute bus ride to town but it is a short walk around five minutes to the closest bus stop, alternatively the hotel would arrange a taxi (a slightly more expensive option).

Stop over at the Hotel for Educational Tour”
I am a frequent traveler and its so frustrating if the attending staff could not communicate well. We enjoyed so much with our stay at The Anggerek, because the attending staff is a Filipina, at the dining hall a Filipino. It was been easier for us to plan and modify our schedules because of the tips given to us. About the food, you can select and they recommend something for you to try and taste delicacies. I am looking forward of booking in that hotel again, an excellent experience aside of its spacious room and most; it is very clean.

Value for money and the property is new”
The service apartment is way more nicer than average hotel in brunei with reasonable price. The room is given as shown in the picture. The only bad thing about the room that we stay was the water outlet of where we shower is clogged. Notify the receptionist about that and it has been fix. Overall everything was good and will stay there again the next visit.

Trip to Brunei( D anggerik)”
Overall, the hotel location is perfect as it is located near Brunei Sports Hub. It is a walking distance to the Swimming pool there.I was impressed that D Anggerik conceiege picked us up at the airport.Normally, a 5 star hotel has such service. In conclusion, i would like to say the staffs there were friendly and always give us assiatnce when in need.

A pleasant surprise”
We have been pleasantly surprised. The hotel, though in the lower price range provided all we needed for our short stay. The location is quiet, the people very friendly, the restaurant offers a wide variety and the local dishes we have sampled were very tasty. A little setback is the Asia immanent inaptness to realise that meals are usually segregated into pre- and main courses and theat people dining or suppering together should be served the same courses at the same time and not fifteen minutes apart. Otherwise, we were very pleased and the complementary ride to the airport was a stunning and very much appreciated surprise!

D Angerek Hotel ”
We stayed at D Angerek Hotel last April 25 to 26, 2010. Over all, our stay is quite good. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and nice. The Hotel provides us at a reasonable cost with coach when we visited the city and Empire Hotel. The Hotel is near the airport. We are thankful that we are allowed late check out because we got very tired from visiting Empire Hotel. We can recommend this hotel to others.

Friendly efficient service from staff”
the staff's friendly and helpful attitude was obvious before we even arrived, as they happily offered a late check-out when we phoned to confirm our airport pick-up. even though it was a public holiday we were collected and delivered back to the airport at the arranged times and with a smile. the room was very large by asian standards, but looking a little worn, with torn curtains, old carpet, marks on the doors. however, the bed was comfortable, the cable tv worked, and the restaurant which provided free breakfast also offered a great menu at very good prices for lunch and dinner. one small problem - the non-smoking room, on the non-smoking floor, clearly wasn't, judging by the smoke smell and ashtray in the room.

Comfortable budget hotel”
My stay was fine but the hotel is a little tired and dated. If you're after somewhere high quality I would suggest the Radisson or the Centerpoint. The good thing about the Anggerek is it's a ten minute drive from airport and it's very close to the estate with all the Government offices if you're visiting / working there.

We enjoyed so much because the staff were very gracious and accomodating. We had a free airport service. The filipino staff were so happy to welcome us. The free breakfast is okay and the location is very near the airport and transpo is walking distance. The rooms are big and clean with ref, tv and aircon. The prize is very reasonable and I recommend Agoda because its very reliable.

Great value for money”
The location of the hotel is very near the airport approximately five minutess drive.The check-in was very fast especially when we arrived from the airport at 1am and everybody was tired and sleepy. They offer free internet on all rooms and free breakfast for two adults. The room was big and roomy enough for my two kids to play around complete with tv, fridge, telephone, safety deposit box and kitchen utensils. We had a good view of the surroundings from three big windows in our room at the fourth floor.They were very understanding to the customers' situation even their standard check out time was twelve noon they allowed us to stay until four in the afternoon due to our scheduled flight at six in the evening. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we never encountered any problem from employees there. The parking lot was very spacious.

Great value for money”
We needed a comfortable, budget hotel for our overnight stopover in Brunei. D'Angerrek ticked all our boxes, then exceded our expectations. The staff run the hotel very efficiently. The only complaints we have (which are more suggestions for improvements than anything else) are: * A few bloodstains on the carpet made it look like someone was shot in our room. * The plug for the bath was rather difficult to extract once finished * The thermostat for the airconditioner was broken * The cafe staff forgot my wife's hashbrowns in her breakfast, but brought them out once we advised them of the omission. * The desk lamp didn't work (but the others did). Aside fom these fairly trivial concerns, we were very pleased with our stay. Highly recommended for people in transit on a tight budget!
