d Mariners or bicotels ”
when I arrived at d Mariners I had a rude shock as the access road to the hotel was totally blocked by construction and I have a car . we received no instructions that the alternative hotel is bicotels just across the road . we had to ask a trike.driver for that info. so we went over to bicotels and thank goodness bicotels is like a brand new place good size rooms. their double beds are rather small though. it can fit only myself and a 10 year old child

Its not that bad at all. Our room is a bit old but it is very spacious . I admired the soft-spoken staff in the front desk. 1 ride Jepney to SM Batangas. If I will go again to Batangas City , I will definitely still stay on this hotel.

A hotel in no mans land. You need a reason to stay here. Odd shaped room. The bathroom obstructed the bed. Lovely girl on front desk. Good service for food and laundry. 6/10

Last Resort Sleep Spot”
We checked in here on the way to Puerto Galera. The room smelled strange and there was no toilet paper placed in our room. Also, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and there was no shower curtain so lots of water stains all over the tub, the hot water in the shower didn't work and the beds were a bit hard. Stay here if you have no where else to sleep. Not the closest to the pier and it seemed clean enough.

cheap stop over place”
Stayed here a night to get the ferry boat the next morning. It's a bit out of the way from the ferry, but the place is very cheap. We took a tuktuk to get to the peir. Room was clean, aircon a bit noisy, no fridge. Just the very bare necessities here. Staff nice, though couldn't organise a van to take us to the ferry terminal.

We needed a place to spend the night before a morning ferry. D Mariners looked OK, but believe the bad reviews. It's dirty and rundown. Even worse is the staff seems indifferent to the guests. We even had to ask for our room key and a trash can for the room. Don't stay for more than one night. Better yet, find another place.

Very poor hotel”
As soon as we arrived we asked for water after our long journey. And they demanded 120pesos No free water in reception or in room. Room was clean . Bathroom bidet leaked and always had a pool of water to step out to as floor sloped to door. Aircon was atrocious and ancient. It was really noisy and it rattled and groaned and when it reached temperature itade a whistle noise. Impossible to sleep and had to ask for fan. No elevator and steps on the stairs were one and a half times higher than a normal step bad for children and elderly people. Ordered omelette for breakfast and they mixed flour with the one egg so make omelette bigger to save an extra egg Mean on the water and the omelette,so never ordered any evening meals Staff were pleasant but the hotel management need to sort out their maintenance and meanness. Nothing outside to see only a dusty road.. Don't waste your money or time and rip yourself off like we did

The place was near the hiway. Rooms are small and are good for short stays. Staff were attentive. Need to ensure water supply is adequately available.

Not a good place, there were no toilet seat, sad looking rooms and not near to any attractions, not much transport .. and staff were kind but no very good knowledge of area and attractions. It is good place if you are desperate. Pool is tiny and for little kids. I stayed only one night.

The room had a bad smell and although we were in a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. Rooms on the second floor are not suitable for the elderly or those with mobility problems as the stairs are steep. The breakfast didn’t agree with our stomach.

Despite the staff being polite and respectful, they exhibited no knowledge of the area, not even being able to tell me where the bus station was. The other issue was the supposedly inclusive breakfasts, that they tried to charge us for at checkout.
