Location superb but ….”

There was noise from outside at night, no washbasin plug Only one TVChannel, toilet seat loose Stood at front door 5 minutes before it was answered when I first arrived

Smells of smoke! old and tatty. Noisy everywhere bed was squeaky. Take ear plugs! From doors slamming to people talking! Right outside is a green “park” we’re homeless people were camping and loud not the hotels fault but the room was hot and stuffy with the window closed! Says towels included… a hand towel and a smaller towel great as I am a large size person! People above us could be heard “jumping on the bed”

Rooms aren’t very clean, need a lot of maintenance to the finer things eg the silicone in bathroom was mouldy and very dirty woodwork! Carpets throughout hotel were filthy and the staff weren’t helpful with parking until the manager arrived!

Great bed. Great shower n bath. Bright room. Good security. Inobtrusive staff. WiFi ok for phone, not so good on laptop , just a small tip, sort your tv out so that it receives all the channels

NEVER AGAIN”

This place was very dirty shower was broken hot water hardly worked. The owner was extremely rude and aggressive when we spoke about the issues we had with the room he kicked us out before slamming the door on us and spitting at my partner. His the worst man I’ve ever met considering he is supposed to be a host, when I got back home I realised I had loads of bites and the room was covered in bed bugs!! 5 days later I still have over 15 bites all over my body. This place needs to get shut down. Do not go there trust me.

Very small room with small shower. Bed is like a put up bed, uncomfy. When wind blows sounds like every door and window is the place us banging and rattling keept me up. I booked 1 night through here and 3 more at reception before seeing my room. Wish id paid more and stayed somewhere else. Sadly 2 more nights to go. Wish me luck

Keep the politics and religion out of my vacation ”

It was rather disappointing to hear about the politics and religion of my country while we were on vacation in another country. I found that rude and disrespectful for hotel guests. And I honestly can’t recommend this hotel to my friends. I am so sorry that I had to leave the comment this way. I wish other hotel guests didn’t have to go through what we went through.

Cheap and cheerful, clean and tidy room which was lovely and warm. Does what it says on the tin, would recommend this hotel for a night or two. Bed was comfy, did take a while for hot water to come through the shower and a little sewage smell in the bathroom, overall a good little hotel

Generally speaking it was OK. Not sure whether any food was provided for breakfast. The biggest disappointment was the en-suite bathroom in Room 35, top floor. The sink had a major crack in it, and had obviously been like that for a long time. There was no plug in the sink so it was going to be difficult to have a wash unless you kept the tap running! The support bracket for the shower head literally had a screw loose, which meant that you couldn't tighten it up to keep it at the height you wanted, so it kept sliding down to the bottom of the rail. The shower head itself flopped forward, so that you had to physically hold the shower in one hand all the time! Fortunately I had some tape with me and managed to secure it in place on the second day, but it was clearly only a temporary fix. Somebody clearly needs to get a grip of this. I didn't want to write a review, so when the request came through I deleted it, and unsubscribed. But they sent it a second time. So.......

Basic but clean with friendly staff. ”

Sea view room on 2nd floor very spacious. Bathroom small but functional. No double glazing so can hear all outside noise. As an old building you can hear other guests in their rooms. Again due to being an old building fire doors don't fit correctly. The hotel is well located only a couple of minutes walk to all facilities without being right in the centre. Staff were very friendly and as our room had already been cleaned we checked in early. The hotel is very dated but would stay again.

I went to trans pride and this hotel was a perfect location for it. Placed very close to the sea and all the queer shops, pubs and clubs nearby. The staff were very nice and the hotel pretty quiet at night considering the location.

Very uncooperative and unhelpful proprietor ”

Asked to change rooms within 5 minutes as basement room was too small for 3 of us. Initially proprietor refused saying we had disturbed the freshly made up beds, but we challenged this and then he relented. Had to keep asking for tea/coffee/milk/sugar to be replenished. Only 2 cups and 2 glasses in the room. But standard of cleanliness was very high

Good points: Clean room. Done the job of having some where to sleep. Staff friendly. Bad points: bathroom Good do with an up date. Bathroom lock was broken, blinds in both bathroom and bedroom broken. Kettle has to sit on floor to boil as no socket close to where it was sat. Beds hard. Expensive but that’s due to it location “Brighton sea front”.

Good size family room”

The bedroom was large and clean there was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom and tea and coffee facilities in the room also the owner was very accommodating and changed our booking as we could not make on the original day

Acceptabel”

They need to make it clear that their family lives on site and children are running by the door, knocking on it occasionally. The shower turns scalding and can’t be fixed. The location is good but I checked out early and found a great place for the same price.

Cheap and not so cheerful”

The hotel was cheap and in a great location as it was only a stone's throw from the pier, but other than that it was really terrible. The hotel smelt of cigarettes throughout, the lock on our door was almost hanging off, the decor was outdated and in bad condition, none of the furniture even matched, the shower hot tap fell off when turned, there was some disgusting mucus coloured stain on the wall and it was advertised as having parking but it's just on street parking which is difficult to get and you have to pay for. I wish i'd paid more and gone to a nicer hotel as the ambassador is an absolute dump.

Lits confortables, chambre au calme, plage à 50m, à 5 minutes des Lanes et 10 des North Lanes. De quoi déjeuner dans la rue d'à côté.
