Great hotel”

Location is great and hotel is clean.

Not good”

For $300 a night you would think you we’re getting atleast a clean room with a legitimate ocean view. We had a small balcony with a partial view and a room partially cleaned with hairs in the bathroom and dirt (blood?) on the walls. The bed was uncomfortable, the fridge compressor was going out and making very loud noises, and someone above us was smoking (ash raining down from above while on balcony). Not recommended at all, and won’t be coming back to Myrtle Beach again.

Beautiful stay at the beach”

Gorgeous view, great location, beach front, exceptional amenities!

Somewhat NOT satisfied”

1) Suite booked was not the same as the one provided at check-in; booked suite showing hardwood floor and received a room with carpet. 2) Carpet looked very dirty throughout the suite including the bedroom and living room. It looked like it has not been vacuumed for a while. I borrowed the vacuum from the resort and vacuumed the entire suite. It looked much better after. 3) We arrived late that night so we went straight to bed after got all the belonging in the suite. Woke up in the morning to found that our hair was filled with lint, feather, and other materials. The bed and bedroom floor was also filled with the same materials. We had to replace all the sheets and comforter and cleaned and dusted all the furniture. We also vacuumed the floor. Overall, the suite including the kitchen, bathroom, and floor was not very cleaned. I spent 4 hrs of the very first day vacuuming and cleaning the suite so we could at least stay there somewhat comfortable for the next few days.

It was fine ”

Pros: great beach location, walking distance to several things to do, common areas taken care of. Cons: they didn’t explain anything to you....how to reserve a beach spot, that you don’t get daily room cleaning, where anything was. The bar was a nice little area once we found it but they were out of all tap beer and only had 2 available in cans. There is no restaurant/ food available onsite after 1pm. No room service available. Overall we had a good time because our trip was about sitting on the beach and not the room but when we go back we will be staying somewhere else.

Was a good experience. Very helpful front desk staff. Valet was a bit clunky, but wasnt a huge deal.

Great place to stay. Exactly as pictured online. Friendly staff, good amenities and walking distance to restaurants, shops and bars. And of course directly on the beach. Only complaint is they lock the beachside gate at night with no key card access for guests. Was easy enough to walk around though.

Awesome stay in a great location right on the beach and the boardwalk less than a mile away.

Love this establishment worth every pretty penny and the rooms are to die for. Nice get away even if it’s just for a day

I was nothing but impressed with the accommodations as well as the incredibly helpful staff. I would wholeheartedly recommend that others consider choosing the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa.

Perfect place to get away”

Perfect location, spacious room, super clean, had everything we could possibly need. Great place to spend the weekend.

Stay Elsewhere”

Horrible from the moment we got there! When they say 4:00 check-in...that is the EARLIEST! They take no special requests for special occasions. Pool and hot tub close at 9:00 pm SHARP! Parking garage is horrendous and dangerous. Pool is like a backyard size, and lazy river is pretty much non-existent. Worst place we ever stayed.
