15 Mins walk from obertraun train station”
hotel do provide toilet paper, few packet of shampoo, but no Aircon, will abit hot during day time, we did bring a mini fan, we travel with 2 60 plus elderly and 2 years old toddler, 15 Years old teen. 15 Mins walk from obertraun train station, 25 to 30 mins walk to obertraun mini Mart. a big playground and very nice mountain and lake view behind hotel, can swimm during summer season, lake water is cold. pizza restaurant right beside the hotel. can take bus 543 from obertraun train station to hotel if You carry too heavy luggage. and also can take bus 543 to Hallstatt. or you can try to take a local boat to Hallstatt, walk from hotel to the boat station just 5 mins , I will recommend to take boat. 1st boat timing is 9am. but the hotel is right beside the railway, the last train is around 10pm. so is not a big problem to us, 1st morning train is around 6-7 am if not wrong.

The location very good and near from train station and the lake also, cleanliness, very nice staff, but I'm not recommended for old people with heavy luggage due to no lift in here so you must bringing your luggage by yourself to upstairs. No kitchen, no microwave and unfortunately my wife not so lovely with cat but while I enter my room there is a black cat in there. The cat belonging of the owner of this property.

It's a bit further away from hallstatts. If you do not have a car, you will have to take the bus or the train to hallstatts. It was written that we will only pay the City tax however when we arrived there, we were asked to pay for the cleaning fee,which is 5€ per person. So I was shocked to have to pay extra. Other than that, the apartment is clean and comfortable. There's a kitchen where you can use.

Th owner was pretty rude”
The owner was pretty stingy, we are not allowed to put our stuffs in the fridge. She scolded at my sister and slammed the door which is ridiculously unreasonable. I won’t recommend this hotel if you’d like to make the meals by yourself

Cheap but simple”
Very simple facility . Noisy in the morning. The housekeeper start to clean at 8am, and the walls are very thin. Be prepared to wake very early

Rooms ok”
We checked in for a night. The room itself was clean. The service personal could not really speak English or German so it was a bit hard to communicate, but doable. The biggest issue we had, was that the room smelled very badly like curry. Seems some family cooked there prior to our arrival. We opened the windows most of the time to make it bearable. The staff tried to assist and handed us what was supposed to be air freshener, but turned out to be anti dust. All our cloth smelled like curry the next morning. As well you could hear the conversation from our neighbors quite clearly. The train tracks next to the building was no issue during the night for us. Overall value for money, but do not expect too much.

Very nice view from the room and very good service mind staff”
I stayed at this place for 2 nights and save alot of money compared to stay at inside of Hallstatt. They provided free parking and breakfast with very nice and warm welcoming staffs. Especially the guy who serving our breakfast, he totally tried to take care and talk to us even he cannot speak English but we can feel how much he care and tried to give his best service. Nice job and very recommend for traveller who wanted to stay over and go to Hallstatt.

Beautiful mountain view”
We visited at off peak so restaurant was closed and staffs were not always there. But provided when we requested via phone message. Pier is just in front of the hotel. And our lake view rooms had amazing view of mountains and lake

Close to the lake, recommended to walk besides the lake in early morning and take some amazing photos. Kitchen facilities easily for preparing simple breakfast.

Too far to walk to our unit to get the key or leave the luggage if we arrived sooner. Also, it was difficult to carry our stuff up the stairs to our room, which was on the second story.
