Good location for Gambir train station ”
Large rooms and good breakfast and great location if you are taking a train from Gambir station. Only minus was the location of a mosque very close to hotel which called for prayer at 04.00

Best Hotel ever i stay in Jakarta”
Thank you for best service and hospitality. When i stayed here for 4days, my room always keep clean by make up room. As by request too, my room on high level with city view , breakfast menus is very variation like western, continental, Indonesia food too . The taste is good actually. And dont forget they have swimming pool too, and the water very fresh without caporite they give too much, and clean ! I like it !

The staff was really nice and kind to all the passengers. The room was quite big. maybe I can bring my family later. it also clean. The room provided an extra pillow (actually I got 4 pillows) I got a bathtub in the bathroom. I also got a beautiful city view from my room. the most important thing, I can get a special price (cheapest) from Agoda for staying in the 5 stars hotel.

A former glory waiting to be restored”
Aryaduta was once a household name. In this present time, I can not say if that's true. Originally I booked a superior room which turned out to be a standard, musty room with air conditioning that was not working despite being rectified by the engineer. One of the receptionist gave very unsatisfactory unhelpful answers everytime I asked about things in the room. I asked about possibility to move me into another room because the AC is not working. I also told him if I could get extra lighting because it was pretty dark in my room. First, he told me that I couldn't move and had to wait for the engineer to fix my AC. Only after the analysis of the engineers, would he even consider to move me to another room. Second he said , there is no extra lamp, if I want to I should just upgrade my room with additional charge of 500K per night. The phone in the room was very poorly connected to the receptionist. The shower head has limescale build up. The carpeted room with flimsy hotel slippers are just not my cup of tea. After the engineer somehow repaired the AC and after a very long wait for the AC to cool my room, which never happened, I was moved to another room which had AC working but still nowhere near 16 degree Celcius. However, another front desk officer was very kind and took one of the engineers to rewire and redirect the pressure in the AC of the new room, so I would get somewhat cool temperature. Other plus points are as follow, my original room, even though a standard one, is equipped with bath tub, rare things to see in the modern hotel now. The water heater is amazing. It is strong and washes my exhaustion away. Both rooms even have small fridges which I really love. I believe this hotel still has so much potential but really is in dire need of being renovated and the staffs also to be educated in proper 5-star-hotel way to converse with customer. Also the lighting in the room could be a tick brighter than the one right now.

Hotel is located in a very good locatio . Very friendly staff and thanks to Mr. Bayu at hotel reception he was very polite and helpfull. Infact all the staff in the hotel are very friendly. Room was very big and spacious and very clean. I will stay again in the Hotel.

Old hotel with family vibe”
Stayed here on 6 Mar 2021 for a weekend staycation at Junior Suite room. Spacious room with our own living room, king size bed, separate bathtub & shower area, dining area & tiny indoor balcony that oversee Tugu Tani park. As the place are walking distance to Monas & Gambir train station, we enjoy our Sunday morning walk around the neighborhood. We also enjoy their pool area with the little garden and having additional warm water jacuzzi was quite nice to have. The overall place are old and they tries to keep up with its maintenance. Some areas were clean like the bed, the towels, bathtub, shower, pool side seating areas, toilet at the pool and their restaurant. Areas where they could've kept cleaner are the pool, lobby area feels rather dusty and doesn't seems been disinfected at all. The staff were really nice and helpful as well during our stay despite they seems tired. Hope the pandemic will pass and they're able to do renovation soon of the hotel as its really needed.

check in process takes time for the room readiness.. buffet breakfast is pretty good, but little variety of food and food is taken by the staff (during pandemic).. Room is clean.. The pillow is flat.. must be replaced.. Eventhough have used 2 pillows, but still flat..

One of my best stay in Jakarta”
Do you know the best thing about Aryaduta Menteng? The staffs! They are warm, helpful, friendly and flexible yet discreet. This is one of my best places to stay in Jakarta. It is in the city center but you will also get easy access to CGK airport and train to whole Java as it is near to Gambir Station. Can’t wait to be back.

I love stay here since a long time ago. The location as quite at the center of Jakarta truly advantage in terms of doing business with a series of meeting etc. Nearbto Menteng Huis and enjoy European Heritahe and drink a cup of coffee there in the cafe or else, is quite something too!

Grand but aging ”
I keep coming back to Aryaduta because the price is good during the pandemic. The usual rate isn't competitive with the other grander, newer hotels because the place needs to be spruced up. For example, the plumbing on the 15th floor is somewhat mysterious. The toilet flush only works after shaking the handle vigorously a couple of times, a phenomenon I only discovered by overhearing the neighrbour who had called staff for assistance with the same problem in her room. And there didn't seem to be any hot water; warm only. But not warm enough for a bath, which was disappointing. There are only afew electrical outlets, too. One EU and one UK socket (the latter for the desk lamp) beneath the desk. Another is used by the standing lamp. That aside, the bed is deliciously comfortable, the room mostly quiet (although there was spill from kids next door and a little traffic noise from other kids on noisy motor) and spacious. I will return at the current prices but not if they return to pre-pandemic heights.

Friendly landing place after passport troubles”
Sadly, I lost my passport in Bali and had to make an unplanned trip to Jakarta to get my emergency passport much more quickly than waiting in Ubud, Bali. We picked Aryaduta because it was close to the American consulate but found them to be an unexpectedly friendly and helpful location. Nice, reasonably priced rooms, great breakfast buffet and restaurant, but most of all - very helpful and friendly staff during a sad and stressful time. Finallly got that emergency passport and headed home, grateful for the stop over at Aryaduta.
