Bad reservation experience ”
when we arrived no one's room was ready at check in. We didn't get our room until 4:30pm. Check in is 4 pm. They had big bags of trash in front of our room so did other people. I had to tell the front desk to remove it from in front our door, but they just put it around the corner of my room. Disgusting!!! Room was not clean properly. I had to clean and disinfect it myself. Never again.

The AC filters and vents in room 109 were very dirty. Also the beds headboards were dirty. We ended up cleaning before we could get some rest.

Good deal, great location”
The overall experience was good, I don't agree with previous reviews about being too loud\noisy. It was 'normal' noisy to be located next to a busy street. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. Located very close to main sites. I only have 1 negative comment: -Bathroom does not have an exhaust fan.

This is my second visit to this hotal. The rooms are large and comfortable/clean. Bathroom is also large and clean. Breakfast is good with a nice variety.

Very helpful staff on the tourist desk. The front desk girls seldom smile and were a bit stiff to Asians like us, except for Marsha who is from Guam who knows about The Philippines..

Frederica saves the day”
The hotel is a good, clean facility in a very good location, but the front desk manager, Frederica, is my hero. On a busy weekend where there were few, if any other vacancies, Frederica saved me from myself. I messed up my reservation, but Frederica stepped in and helped me sort it all out. While I was beginning to stress out, she told me what I needed to do and then spoke w/ the 3rd party booking agent for me. And in short order I was on my way to my room. Thank you Frederica!

Breakfast was quite large and surprisingly good. Beds were 2 double beds, which was a little small. Close enough walking distance to River Street. Pay for parking at the hotel. Decent hotel for last minute spontaneous trip.

The place is clean esp. the bathroom. We only stayed for one night. We spent the day in the Bay Street, checked in the hotel and it was raining in the afternoon, so we stayed in, watched a movie and hit our beds early😊. My sister from Canada complemented Best Western.

Went to Savannah over Thanksgiving. The Hotel was right in the mix of everything and my wife and I had a great time. Great Value!

Few minor problems but staff was prompt in taking care of the issues. Because of construction of new hotel in back there were noise and parking issues (finding a parking place when coming in late) but all in all good location and value.

Both rooms were gloomy and had a bad smell. In front of them was a patio where drunken teenagers made a lot of noise

The stay was comfortable. We appreciated the rooms having "white noise" machines to down out the noise from Bay St. Also, our room was on the back side, so it was not as bad as facing the main road. For anyone else looking at staying here, it's a great value. Just don't be surprised when you see that you are on the edge of town and right across the road from the run down/ not so nice part of town.

" 3 rooms in 4 days ”
Unfortunately 1st room had electrical problem so no lighTs in bathroom, never did fix after over 4 hour wait. Had a wedding rehearsal dinner which I had to get ready for in the dark :(. The moved me to a different room which faced Bay Street which had a high level of noise ...1st clue was white noise machine in room. It had issue with TV so I was moved again ! This was a pleasure trip but I am an experienced business traveler don't think I have ever moved around so much. Rooms very adequate but suggest they install weather stripping around doors as I could see light on 2 sides and under doors ... This would also help with noise.
