Not received what I was booked for”
I booked family room for 3 nights but they gave me single room for night because they were fully booked. They have me family room next day which has only one double bed . Not clean at all n very poor condition

Worst placed I have paid money to stay in. Facilities did not match what was said on website. ”
Location was okay for me, Price obviously cheap on night for £25 a night however does not justify poor conditions. Walk to the room through corridors which narrow dirty & general state of repair poor. In the room no adequate lighting most lamps with no bulbs, open with no covers, dirty carpet, curtains dirty & hanging poorly. Windows unable to close properly letting draft in. In bedroom white sheets which looked like slept on night before not changed, bedside cabinet with residue ash & room smelt of cigarette smoke, clearly either previous guest or staff being smoking in room. Bathroom handsoap bar whip appear been used, no towels to dry hands or for washing. No television in rooms as mentioned on website. Dirty kettle & coffee tea sachets placed on the floor. Sockets to charge phone not working. You couldn't sit & feel relaxed in room. As I tried to sleep, banging on door, forced entry through locked door then ran away after discovering room occupied. Relocated to new room not better.

Room smells of vomit and cigarettes. No smoke alarm. Toilet stained with faecal matter. Hasn't been vacuumed or dusted for some time. Loose, possibly live cables protruding from a hole in the ceiling. We used the neighbouring McDonald's to use the toilet and wash. Unplugged my phone after unsuccessfully trying to charge it and the plug socket came away from the wall. Really, really bad hotel. Scary!

The hotels site said all rooms have TV and drink making facilities. I booked a room with double bed the first room I was given had 2 single beds no kettle and no TV. I asked for a room with a Double bed and TV I was eventually given a room with a TV but the double bed was 2 singles pushed together and there was no cups or towels. I asked what time breakfast was and was told we dont do breakfast sir theres a Mcdonalds down the road. The definition of a Hotel is "An establishment providing accommodation, meals, and other services for travellers and tourists."

It took 4 rooms before I had a bed for the night, there was either already someone in the room or there was no electricity. I've stopped in youth hostels that are in better condition.

The room had stains on the carpet, the bathroom had tiles missing and a smashed window, there we're no curtains on either window in the bedroom. Out of 3 light switches only 1 worked. The pictures look so much better than the rooms do in reality. I will not be stopping there again

The carpets were filthy, the cleanliness of the toilets barely adequate. There were7 family members in our party & were advised not to let the children walk barefoot in case they trod on glass or needles. There were 2 kettles & 2 mugs between the 7 of us & we had to ask for tea & coffee. There was no milk & no towels. We were also refused a receipt. We had problems finding the hotel because it had a different name from the one on the website. There was a funny smell in the corridors. Don't go here!

This place was being horrific. Not even fit for rats. Looked more like a dirty crack den than somewhere I could take my family. Window Broken so unsafe. Half a curtain up, other half in the doorless wardrobe, 1 bulb working in about 8. Beds broken. It was absolutly filthy eith goodness knows what splattered on all of the walls. Just horrific. Asked for money back and went somewhere else. Avoid like the plague.

This hotel Is not appropriate for families or couples who like to sleep and enjoy their break.The room we had was disgusting with no toilet roll or towels in our room or in the hotel you have to go to reception to ask for it toilet roll which is a basic thing you'd expected from a hotel basic or not.The furniture is held up by books and looked unsafe.My partner ended up staying awake while me and our child tried to sleep due to the door not closing properly and when the wind blew it pushed the door open to where the lock stopped it ,the mattress had more stains on it then a dart board has holes in it.This place is more like rent a room by the hour then a family hotel.I wouldn't let me dog sleep here and If it wasn't so late at night and could of gone to a different hotel we would if done. I can confidently say I wouldn't recommended this hotel even to my worse enemy as this place needs to be revamped before id even think about taking a step back in here. Best inn is now called sparkle.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed”
Please avoid this hotel even if it comes for free. Unhygienic and dated place. Never met any person in life like the night receptionist who is least interested and was more busy in watching television. The ceiling wallpaper was falling off and no lights in the first room provided. After half an hour of waiting receptionist move us to another room which have only one light in working condition. I don't even know how they have been allowed to operate. It's totally against health and safety to operate in this condition.

These premises I would not recommend to anyone it's dirty smelly the carpets as well warn and sticky with that the walls was dirty the room was disgusting the bedding was stained wasn't cleaned the carpet was stained the bathroom had Mould on it a light in the corner that was broke it was a disgusting I didn't even stay the night I walked in looked around and walk back out and given the key Back that was it a waste of my money

Although the bedding was clean, there were lots of living insects walking on the bed, stains everywhere on the coffee table and the walls. Room with no windows-:(

Arrived having paid but was repeatedly questioned abiut paying. The young lad on reception was very new to the job and had poor English which didn't help although he did his best to help us. First room allocated didn't have a key. Second room had no lights. Third room had a dodgy lock. One of the corridors had a waterfall coming out of one of the ceiling lights. If you chose to stay here don't expect anything other than really basic. For us though it served it's purpose for one night.

I stayed in a real life Faulty Towers Hotel”
When we arrived, we were told we could not check in because the wifi was down and they were unable to check us in. After waiting over an hour, I offered to pay by cash as I was supposed to meet family for 20.00 and by this time it was 19.30. This was just the beginning of the nightmare. When we eventually checked in. The room was awful. The decor was so old that I believe it has not been redecorated since the sixties, plus it was torn in places. (I took a video and will be placing it on facebook) Lights were missing from the light fittings, the bath was filthy and the tiles were missing and what tiles were on the walls was covered with a white slimy scum. There were no towels, no toilet paper, no cups, even though they provided a kettle and tea and coffee. There were two chairs in the room which look like they needed a good steam clean and the whole place had a distinctive bad smell. We were allowed to check out at 12.30 the next day rather than the usual 11 am check out time.
