Fantastisk”
Pros: Well situated, friendly and efficient staff, the room had some lovely touches, the spa facilities were great. Cons: the traffic was very noisy at night (there were complimentary earplugs in the bathroom!); there were a number of chilled drinking water stations in the spa but it was tap water and tasted very chlorinated. It was difficult to contact the spa team to book treatments. In the end they were unable to accommodate us so we found a wonderful place about 10 mins walk away, next to the theatre - Little Jasmine. Having said all that, it is a lovely hotel and I would stay there again.

I was welcomed by their super friendly staff and i given an upgrade (i think from a cosy room to a cosy inland room) Room was clean, well designed and had everything you need. Little to no noise too (you get earbuds in room) Spa was great. Busy but totally nice Would come again for sure

Lovely Hotel and Staff”
Definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed here for New Year and it was absolutely fab. The staff could not be more helpful, polite with a totally 'can do' attitude. The spa facilities are lovely, the breakfast was cooked to order, great menu , great choice. Our room was lovely, the complimentary Gin was a very welcome little extra touch. The bed was comfy, huge and high. Felt like royalty. Will definitely be returning to this hotel and Brighton itself is a must see town and can't wait to return.

From the moment I arrived- friendly staff! Lovely atmosphere!! Super clean comfy room with an upgrade. The spa facilities are just beautiful. Lovely restaurant and bar. Great Italian bar lady with a 5 star treatment!! Will be back.

Wonderful hotel”
Wonderful stay here, the staff were very helpful and we got upgraded as there was availability. Our room wasn’t quite ready so they gave us a free drink and late check out which was brilliant as we could use the spa the next day for longer. The spa is amazing so relaxing and lots of facilities, open early and closes late. We only had breakfast in the restaurant which was delicious and they had a great choice. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and the staff were so friendly especially the bar manager explaining the cocktails to me very friendly and great service. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.

Great room, good customer service, good breakfast ”
Spa was great, the staff continuously checked water to make sure it was clean. But in the pool there were areas on the tiles black with mould. On the side wall of the pool you had fungus growing out of the wall, and damp on the ceiling. This was such a shame as it had great facilities., just lacking g TLC.

Overall a nice stay”
Rooms were nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Bar staff made lovely cocktails and the food served was great Nd there was a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Downsides - There were small flies around bar area and lots in stairwell leading down to hot tubs, which was off putting. The bar adds a 10% service charge to every drinks order and is quite pricey.

Make sure room not near the back of hotel as walkabout pub at weekend is open til 3am and very loud! Excellent facilities in room, lovely spa, excellent/perfect breakfast. Lovely staff, very helpful. Hotel needs a bit of a makeover in places but not a game changer. Good discount through hotel on nearby parking. Excellent location near Pier, restaurants and Pavillion. Excellent bar restaurant downstairs. Would definately stay here again and recommend.

The hotel was lovely. Very vibrant, classy and has huge potential. The staff were excellent and very attentive/informative. We dropped our bags off early and when we checked in they were in the room waiting for us. The little details they were excellent in dealing with. Our room was lovely but just had so many cracks, paint peeling off the wall and marks around the room. Understand general wear and tear but this was in numerous places in the room. The mini bar was not fully stocked and whomever else before us had drunk some of the alcohol and placed it back in the fridge empty. I raised this with the hotel and they were apologetic. The spa was the best spa I have ever been to soo relaxing!!! However there was a group of kids in the main pool with there father who made it unpleasant, they were playing games, shouting, jumping around and not being considerate to others in the spa. BRING EAR PLUGS IF AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING!!! THE NOISE FROM THE CLUBS AT KICK OUT TIME IS ALOT.

Average and overpriced ”
Booked this trip for some R&R, went for the sea view suite. Emailed ahead asking for early check in, never received a response and room not ready. Reception service was unwelcoming. Returned around check in time, was given my room. View was lovely! The room itself was not worth what I’d paid. The bath in the room was dirty, the tea/coffee facilities had not been restocked, both robes were broken and the lights on a dimmer didn’t work if they weren’t on full. Was sent from reception to the bar to restock my own milk and sugar. Tried to order room service, couldn’t get through, rang reception who said the restaurant would call back.... called back 25 minutes later. The food was however tasty! Spa facilities were nice, although wouldn’t want to use when the hotel was busy as it would fill quickly. Overall the hotel has a premium price tag, but neither the service or facilities that you’d expect when paying the fee.

Kept awake all night as my room faced a hostel!!! Should have paid £30 to stay there instead - would have got just the same amount of sleep!! In the restaurant said yes to water without thinking (I was thirsty!) served a whole bottle for one person, when expecting a glass & charged £8 for the privilege. Quoted £15 for a taxi - booked through the hotel - which when the uni of Brighton asked for the same quote was only £5!! Then in the morning asked for the cooked breakfast - which I was eating & much to my surprise found a piece of bone on the bacon (which I had been chewing!) this made me feel quite sick 🤢 so I left the food which cost me £18!!! Not impressed. The spa had no shampoo, and a bag of tile grout and trowel left on the sink. Not luxury! Save your money - stay somewhere else!
