Don't believe the negative reviews...”
I almost let the negative reviews stop me from staying here. My granddaughter picked it, I sleepily booked and paid for it, then read the reviews the next day. I was horrified by some of them and other reviews left me feeling hopeful. I wasn't sure what I would see. Well to my surprise it was perfect! Beautiful hotel, nice clean lobby, friendly staff who greeted us and went the extra mile to locate a luggage carrier for us. Everything was explained, there were no hidden charges, everything was in black and white before I made the reservation. They place a $100 hold for incidentals, just like other hotels. Breakfast was included at Magnolias On Main (a buffet I'd been wanting to visit since seeing their commercials on TV) and they didn't let me down. Our room was clean and, due to COVID, it was explained that once we checked into our room no one will enter. If clean towels are needed we could get from front desk of call for delivery (as long as we are there to receive). Broom and dust pan and extra trash bags were on hand. We had a wonderful stay and I didn't see any crawling critters. Not one complaint. I certainly recommend it and would stay again. We were on the 9th floor.

The Place To Stay!!!!!”
Where do I begin with how nice this vacation was. This is one of the best hotels on the strip. Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, beach access and all the amenities were top class. Elevators were fast and spacious. Food was amazing at the Magnolia restaurant and the parking garage was easily accessible. If you want value for a couples getaway or for a family vacation, this is the place to stay. You won't be sorry you did.

Great hotel in great price”
I stayed at this place on Sep, 20. We took a ocean front room. This is an excellent hotel. Pros: 1. Good location. Great view of ocean. 2. Very clean room including all utensils. 3. Cordial staff. 4. Great hot buffet breakfast. 5. Free DVDs for latest movies. I did not find any cons. I would love to stay there again.

Pleasant stay ”
I stayed in the winter when rooms are really inexpensive so the value was excellent. Everyone was friendly and the room was as advertised. I didn’t try any of the amenities because I was in and out in just a couple days and had plans outside of the property. Parking was a little tight but they were doing construction on the structure. I literally got the last parking spot in the garage. I don’t know what their plan is when the garage is full during a busier stay but I am sure they have one. I would recommend the Carolinian. They do have multiple buildings so if you are picky about being oceanfront make sure to confirm you are getting that.

Our first time but not our last. We were so pleased! Sofa in living area old and sofa Ed not comfortable, but otherwise no complaints. We were impressed with free tickets too-nice surprise.

Good for the price”
Its a pretty decent hotel for the low price, hotel staff is really nice and helpful. You get a breakfast buffet across the street which is really good, its not continental, its a full buffet. The rooms are a bit older but they’re clean and you’re paying a low price per night.

Great Value”
Our room was on the 19th floor and we had a spectacular view of the beach/ocean. The rooms on either side of us were occupied, however inside the rooms you do not hear the neighbors. The rooms are large and everything is very comfortable. There were cookware and utensils in the kitchen, however we never cooked in the room so cannot comment on if it was adequate supplies. There is dish soap and dishwasher detergent. There is a washer and dryer, but the detergent is not supplied so need to bring your own, as well as need to supply your own paper towels. Highly recommend hotel and would stay again.

The staff is top notch! The pools and lazy river are great! The pool and lazy river are heated, covered, and feel great! The other pool is in the sun and not heated. Beach access is easy. Close to many things! Downfalls are the parking is not right on site. It’s about a block away, buy gated. I would def stay here again!

We stayed at this resort for three nights and for our first time at myrtle beach it was one of the best vacations I’ve had. The staff especially the manager were very friendly and accommodating. We needed to switch rooms because I did not want to be on the bottom floor and the manager immediately changed rooms for us. The room was clean and clean the view of the ocean was great. The breakfast was buffet style and very good tasting one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel/resort to everyone I know.
