Best cabin-style staycation!”
I've always wanted to visit Casa Alegria because of its location, amenities, and room interiors. Finally got the chance last weekend and I love how chill, lowkey this place is! It's quiet, peaceful, unlike hotels in the area. It feels like you're with nature with its surrounding, overlooking Taal Lake, situated in a ridge. Super plus for us are the accommodating and friendly staff, very approachable and professional– one thing I look for. They had an infinity pool, bar/resto which is all you need for a relaxing stay. We had a basic room but didn't expect it to be too basic with the published price. We're kinda eyeing for a built-in mini ref/chiller or an exhaust fan for the bathroom. Nonetheless, we had a good sleep with their comfortable bed and pillows, blackout curtains are a plus too and the cable TV! Well-sanitized and clean, though the room seems old, maybe it needs a little retouch. Amazing stay!!!

Casa Alegria is perfect choice for a retreat if looking for peace and quiet”
Casa Alegria isn’t hard to find. We are on commute when we went there. Just took one of those yellow tricycles beside 7-Eleven in Olivarez. Checking in here is hassle free. Room is simple and very clean. One of the good things about Casa is that they only have 8 rooms I think so it wont seem crowded and the place is really quiet except for the sound of passing vehicles. We had the pool just to ourselves in the morning. View is breathtaking!!!! Pool is really nice! Breakfast is good! Especially their barako coffee! Maybe the only downer is wifi is only available at the dining/restaurant area and during our stay it is down. The signal is also weak especially inside the room so you wouldn't be able to use data. But other than that, i find everything is good. The best thing about Casa are the staff! They are so accommodating and very polite! At first we were reluctant to stay due to mix reviews, but upon staying here we only have good words to say about this place! ❤️👍🏻👍🏻

Me and My husband celebrate our anniversary, It was amazing experience to stay at Casa alegria, the location is good and the view was so amazing, you can see taal volcano. The staff are friendly and very accommodating, my husband surprised me, he talked to the staff to buy some candle and wine for our dinner. The food is so delicious and the coffee. Casa Alegria was fairly accessible from most of the tourist spots. Staff was well attentive and accommodating. Plus the view was magnificent. Pool was nice as well. Just needs to have wifi access on the room though. Over all, i enjoyed our stay

The place is really nice! But if you are going to commute make sure you got all of the things you need because the place is a hit hidden. But everything is really nice. The staffs are very accommodating and kind. The place is nice.

Everything was perfect, except for food. For 3 days, we can only order Breakfast Menu (Tapsilog, Tocilog and Langosilog). It will be nice if they hire a cook who can prepare the foods stated on their menu.

The place is well ventilated areas, customer service is exemplary, view and the actual place already the bonus. Not too much crowd which we really love. Cleanliness and simplicity at is finest. You can bring your food though they a great menu. But since we have kids we anticipated bringing our own and only liquors have minimal corkage fee. Will definitely recommend and come back.

What makes Casa Alegria close to perfection is its team; from reception, to the kitchen crew, to security. They were available, very approachable, and always wearing their smiles. But what we really like to commend is their honesty. We were already in Tagaytay proper, on our way home, when they called us to let us know that we left our iPod touch in the room we stayed in. Tips: 1. Make sure to bring snacks or nibblers as the place is out of the way. Their food is good, but a bit pricey. 2. We got a Deluxe Queen room and its A/C had a leak. Floor got wet, but nevertheless it did its job in cooling the room. 3. Brewed coffee needs major work. Thank you, Casa Alegria! This trip was one for the books.

The view was very beautiful (worth the sharp curves on the road haha). i can say that it was not well maintained. There were stains in the bathroom of the room. The mattresses were kind of uncomfortable. The door had a damage so it became the entrance for the moths to enter the room. And there were A LOT. Tho, the staff were very nice and helpful! Breakfast was good. The pool is clean! No scent of chlorine. Tiles were not greasy or what. You can tell that it was maintained. We enjoyed our stay because of the view, pool, friendly staff and most importantly, pets are allowed. For the price, its a bit high for what was offered. But it was a great experience. Very peaceful and beautiful. Thank you. ☺️

This is one of the hidden gems of Tagaytay. Definitely worth checking out. It's a very intimate place (I think only 8 rooms in the entire hotel). But it had all the little necessities that you needed, and a small pool. Room size was ok, and bed was very comfortable. The staff were superb.

Twice as nice”
Second time for our family.... Love the limited number of rooms which means the place is not crowded. Good location - aside from the scenic view, place is not located alongside the main road which means less noise. Also love the fact that a grill is provided for barbecues (and smores) so there is that homey feel. Imagine cooking your dinner then sharing it with your family in a veranda with a scenic view of Taal. Staff including the Manager are very friendly and accommodating.
