I 'm happy with the services in Colmar Tropicale. Totally recommended. The wheather were good on the day i stayed and not many tourists since i went on monday. I chose nature view room, hence i got quite stunning hill view with balcony. But the monkey love to go to the balcony asking for food. Don't ever feed them, if not they will keep coming and bring all their clans to our balcony. Since the resort is 20 years old already, do not expect all the furnitures, glass, sink, bowl shining like new. But they were all clean and perfect. Food are nice too, there are plenty of variety. In terms of food quality and taste i can say good. Staff also very nice and polite. I arrive at 230pm, they allowed us to check in early, supposed at 3pm. What a great pleasure to stay here. Surely i will come again.

Booked a room with nature view written in the description, but requested a Town View instead, and the hotel accommodated. Stayed for one night as a trial-run for an upcoming company trip, and I can say that the resort was amazing. The last time I went was 15 years ago when I was still in school, and seeing now they have a Starbucks and a 7Eleven is a major improvement. Didn't get to visit the parks, but be aware to bring umbrellas along with you as we were stucked in another building because it rained, and couldn't get back to our room in another building. The rooms were a bit dated, but otherwise clean. If you expect to do a lot of things here, then this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a short relaxong getaway for the weekend, then book yourself a room.

Great place for short stay”
Smooth check in by Ain at reception, and 2 girls (doing cleaning) were helping me to guide to reception floor. Since my hometown, about 1hour++ from here, and decide to bring old parents for short stay, she was enjoyed the ambience and sight seeing. The connected and spacious Master Room room at the best convenience for her and my children. Night life quite noisy but, I'm OK since a bit far from our room. I wonder why tea that served during breakfast was so cold? Mohd Latep also did a good job cleaning after we had breakfast. Also smooth check out. We have a great time here and will come back for the next 5 years...hahahahaha...

I love to stay here because of the: 1. Room - Spacious, clean, aircond with ceiling fan, hair dryer, flat tv screen with plenty channels, European decor style furniture, mini bar fridge 2. Toilet - Clean, bath tub with hot water, equip with toothbrush, soap, lotion, shampoo, shower foam, tissue, shower cap etc 3. Outdoor swimming pool, gymnasium 4. Breakfast from 7 a.m until 10.30 a.m - good taste with several food menu selections 5. 7 Eleven to accomodate your basic needs & foods. 6. Amazing scenery hotel building & landscape. Feel like vacation in French. 7. Nice & friendly front desk staff.

Great for a relaxing trip”
The ambience of this hotel and location is simply mesmerizing. For a first timer, it is good to overnite there as you will get to enjoy more there. There are several nice restaurants available there including the new Starbucks, good to have a cup of coffee. Amazingly, the weather is still cold there. The hotel is also good for picture taking. The room given during my trip was clean and large enough for a small family. Breakfast was also recommended. The pool too, you should try. Book without doubt.

Beautiful and peaceful for honeymoon trip”
Although the location of this resort is quite far from the central city, but everything was worth every penny. The transportation to and from this resort is easily to book and also very affordable. The exterior design is truly magical, looks like truly living in a fairy tale. The room itself is clean and the size is big enough with the complete facilities and amenities. They also have a complete menu in their breakfast. Unfortunately they charge additional fee if we request a flower arrangement in our room since we have a honeymoon trip, so we cancel that request.

Warm hospitality, exemplary service, staff are always smiling and friendly. Amazing environment - cooling, serene and tranquil hill resort in tropical forest. Fell in love with Japanese garden and Botanical Garden. Unique 1 of a kind of spa experience at Tatami Spa with their onsen spa package. Indescribable experience soaking in onsen underneath rain forest canopy and sounds of thrilling birds abound. Sit in stillness and peace among the rainforest for some "forest-bathing" experience. Friendly and safe space for solo lady travellers. Spacious accommodation at Colmar Tropicale, with spellbound mountain side view - to be able to see the mist-wreathed majestic tropical mountains every morning and evening and daytime - breathtaking indeed. Surpassed my expectations. Malaysia has many gems indeed.

a great escape from the city life . The scenery is breathtaking. Very spacious room , friendly staff , variety food for breakfast . I took 2 unit room (total 4 bedroom , every room had a bathtub) for me , my parent & 4 of my siblings and we feel comfortable and enjoyed . Just a little to improve , for room no 3503 (block Chamelia) , there was a problem with flush for the toilet bowl in bathroom at downstairs. Others than that , everything is perfect .

We're a family of 7. Parents (2) + 2 teens + 2 children + 1 baby. The beds are super spacious! We like that there's a locked room, parents gets privacy. Rooms were super cold. Hotel was nice. Received complimentary hand wax making. Breakfast was okay, not too shabby, but not super great considering its a 4 star hotel?? Oh well, we're not picky, We ate our hearts out anyway! Toilet shower wall & door can be slightly cleaner, but not outright disgusting... We had fun. 1 night is enough :)

Check in is quite late around 3.30 to 4.00 pm but it is acceptable since it is during peak season. Andrian and Mohit are genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The family room is a two separate room divided on upper and lower floor using one main door. With two bathroom, one with bathtub the price is affordable. We've got beautiful scenery view of the mountain and witnessing the sunrise. Decent breakfast available at the same building of Camelia block. The hotel has 7 Eleven so worry no more anything you need is easy to be found bet it maggi, milo, ice cream and even diapers. The swimming pool for adult and kinds are in good condition, with beautiful scenery. Such a great property. The night life is lively and suitable for family.

If u wanna enjoy colmar tropicale, without having to rush here & there (japanese village/botanical garden etc.), really should stay here. Very comfortable room, helpful staffs with good facilities. For food, recommended to just buy snacks/drinks before u go up. No need to stay at the apartment around unless u come with family to cut cost. Definitely worth every penny!

The view was awesome, green everywhere. So peaceful and relaxing. Our room was very spacious, and comfortable. Big spacious bed. Room service was prompt and food was good, and reasonably priced for room service menu. Service was good, and staff are friendly and accommodating, from the reception to the restaurants to room service to housekeeping. We will come back!

The room were clean, very comfortable and the staff was so nice and helpful. Gorgeous building with ala2 france and it really breahtaking when we were walk in. Surrounded with hutan2 bukit2, well its quite sejuk and berkabus juga in the morning. Even though Colmar ni very kecil je kawasan dia, but i really love with every single things in here.

Recommended if you want to stay overnight, and if you plan to buy snacks for supper from 7E make sure to buy it early (I think it's close at 6pm) because when I went down at 8pm it's already close. The staffs are very friendly and helpful when I ask for the room key after check out to take my powerbank that was left in the room

Worth our time & money”
We're a family of 7, small kids and teenagers. Fits all of us in the family room. Room was very spacious. Bed was very comfy with 4 pillows on each king sized bed. Bed was huge! Beautiful room, however the washroom was a bit dirty. Toilet bowl wasn't as clean. Sliding door in the bathtub was equally slimy, I wouldnt touch it! If it was tad cleaner, I would really enjoy the whole experience. The place was beautiful, the buildings were maintained well. Pictures turned out beautiful. We were given free wax hand sculpture, but on our checkout day, the store was closed. Bummer. We went to Bentong for dinner, and it wasn't a hassle to come back to the hotel in the evening. Lots of food during Breakfast, it was so-so... just okay but enjoyed the pastries & omelette most! One night here is sufficient to explore Colmar but not a bad idea to stay here but head off to Bentong waterfall etc. Its nice & cool here! Totally worth it!

One of the Best Shelters to Escape from Hectic Life”
First thing first, the staff were super friendly and always smiling. Then, I was equally surprised that they actually took notice of my special requests and upgraded my room to Superior King without any charge! The room itself was comfy and clean, though there are trails of ants on the reading desk. The sound isolation was superb, despite my room location at the ground floor near the reception counter itself. I drove my own car to the location, so travels to other spots such as Japanese Village and Rabbit Park (there is no longer an Animal Park here) were easy. There were shuttle minibuses but I didn't try them out. One of the lacking things were the types of food available as there were only western food and pastries available around the hotel. The only Japanese restaurant, Ryo Zen Tai is in the Japanese Village a few kilometres away and a short hike up the hill. Still, both of us like the places a lot and will definitely come back again :)

All good except the breakfast!”
Nice stay but really need to improve the breakfast. Salty sambal nasi lemak, half boiled egg was like unboil at all. When customer complained, the chef straight away changed them to hard boiled instead of half boiled! The main course meal was the same for the two days, tasteless nasi lemak with salty sambal. The scramble egg is not taste like egg at all. Instead of nasi lemak, they could change to fried nasi goreng, or fried mee hoon or kue teow. The chef should cooked with the sincere heart not for the sake of cooking. The rm 25 for breakfast is not worth it!

Feels like we're in some French Town!”
Room was amazing! The room was spacious, with new bathroom attached. The interior was nice and we got a room with the view of the mini French town. At night, with the lights on, it felt magical. The air conditioner worked fine, it was very cooling at night. Breakfast was okay but the taste might be so-so but enough for the stay. One improvement that needs to be done is to get rid of the weird smell of the hotel entrance area and also take care of the cleanliness of the carpark area/elevator area as well. The smell of the cat (?) at the hotel room entrance I supposed was very apparent. I think it can be solved with regular cleaning and invest in fragrance to make the hotel more welcoming and pleasantly memorable. Overall, it was quite a nice stay. We managed to catch the sunset and enjoyed it from the Starbucks area and the view was worth it.

Everything was so great about this suite, It was simple yet stunning. The room was spacious and comfortable, made me feel like home. The surrounding was also great, there were many shops and restaurants just a stone away from the suite.
