Everything is good. Newly renovated, room is clean and spacious with a large TV. Staffs are extremely friendly and willing to help. Located near to taichung railway station.

Value for money, excellent size and facilities and amazing staff service”
We stayed here for a night. This side of the town is a bit older hence it's not very near to many attraction points but it's near the railway station if you're catching a train. However, they do provide free bikes for you to ride around, and buses under 10km are free to use in Taichung (we didn't try this as we were short on time and cabs are pretty cheap in Taiwan anyway). Room size was excellent, only complaint was the shower was a bit tight. They also have on 3rd floor where you could use basic kitchen amenities like microwave and fridge. On 2nd floor they have an area for you to relax and play games with others. Staff were all amazing, friendly, knowledgeable who shared many great tips with us. Another plus point.

Good valuable hotel ”
The hotel is a bit further into the area where residents stay but it is okay. The staff are all really friendly, they greet us every morning and nights when we returned. My dad was unwell one of the nights and when my bf and I left to get food they even offered drink for my dad. The room we stayed is a little small if you have big luggages, but we are fine with it. You are unable to fully open up a 24-inch luggages, so you can leave it like a L-shaped against the wall. There is a cafe collaborating with the hotel for breakfast (if I were not wrong), it is just on the opposite. Else, you can opt for local breakfast at the stall just next to the hotel. :D overall, it is a great stay!

The hotel required time to locate initially but not an issue, it reasonably near to Taichung Rail Station. The hotel interior looks pretty new and modern. Various socket points available at work desk and bed desk including a 3 pin socket. No serving of breakfast or food. Need to walk to main road if you need 7-11 or Familymart.

Morning staff was superb! ”
My friend and I checked out of the hotel as we are heading to Sun Moon Lake and we were allowed to store our luggages with them. I didn't ask for the female staff who works the morning shift but she is the best! During our stay, she was so cheery and helpful. She allowed us to check in 30 mins earlier as she knew we had a red eye flight. We needed a nap badly! She also recommended places for us to check out - Lalaport Mall and Hanxi Night Market. Directions included :) She advised us on the best bus route for Sun Moon Lake and called a cab for us so we could go to the bus station which wasn't too near. On the day we needed to head to Taipei, she called a cab for us too. Having such a kind staff really made our stay at DDINN Hotel a memorable one.

Great hotel with helpful staff! We’re thankful that we could check in slightly earlier as we were tired from our red eye flight. We could store our luggages with them when we did an overnight stay at Sun Moon Lake. If you need help with directions or hire a cab, the staff will be happy to help you. I like the fact that there is a hot and cold water tap at the reception area to fill your bottle. Superb location. It’s walking distance to Taichung Train Station and there are buses in the nearby bus stops that can bring you to many places. There is a convenience store nearby and many eateries in the area. Zhongxiao Road Night Market is 5mins away so be sure to check it out!

The front staff is very friendly. They do provide bicycles for rent FOC. The location of the hotel is not on the Main Street. Took some time to walk to the hotel from Tai Zhung station
