Go scuba dive!”

They offer scuba diving and even have a salt water pool where you can train before you go dive at the actual sea area. It's nice that you can charge at the room your food orders, scuba dive expenses and others , and when you check out you can pay them one time. Great view. They don't have a beach but they offer island hopping to another island that they owned that has a white beach.

Eagle Point may be too remote for some, but for those who are looking for a little getaway, it’s perfect. You’ll feel like you’re in your own little world as you stroll through the property on a fine February afternoon, waiting for a sunset that’s every bit as beautiful as the ones you see in the resort’s pictures. While there is still room for improvement (some areas seem to be undergoing some sort of construction or renovation at the time; the refrigerator in our room did not contain snacks/drinks you can buy; my girlfriend also wished there was a hair blower available in the room), what Eagle Point currently offers through its excellent location and commendable service is an experience that is definitely worth the price tag.

This is a gorgeous location with stunning views and great shore dive opportunities. However, it was expensive for me as a solo traveller, when it came to boat dives. My room was beautiful, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were great and the food was delicious.

Good staff but terrible reservation office ”

Tried to book through their reservation desk in Manila and received a non sense quote so finally booked through Agoda which ended up being cheaper! Staff were very friendly there and we enjoyed our stay very much. Only point is if you want to dive make sure to book in advance as they have limited dive masters and we almost could not dive if we were not proactive in proposing them solutions!

Some bad reviews made me hesitate but I am glad I pushed through with the trip as it was very relaxing! :) The place was secluded and getting there was an adventure in itself. I had low expectations coming in so as not to be disappointed. The place was “sulit” and exceeded my expectations. The staff who greeted us were friendly and explained resort amenities and rates. Our cottage was amongst the newly renovated ones, it was good-sized and had its own balcony overlooking the ocean! Some parts of the resort are still being renovated, I suppose some of the bad reviews were from people who stayed in the old rooms. Thanks to everyone who made our stay pleasant and comfortable - from shuttle driver Rico, Ann and the people in reception, the housekeeping staff, pool/kayak man Renante, dive shop keeper Che, and staff at the resto. Snorkeling was a great experience as there were so many corals and fish close the the shore. We will definitely come back to dive. :)

Away from it all”

We keep coming back to Eagle Point. Choose a cottage, it's more quiet and hidden among foliage. I love how the place has so much greenery in it. A great place to relax that's not far from Manila, where you get to enjoy the sea and greenery. It's our top choice to stay at in Anilao. Food is very good (especially the Saturday night buffet) and seafood is fresh. You can't miss going on a day tour to Sepoc beach (private boat ride that is arranged with the resort)!

Been to this resort probably 15 years back. Happy to see the resort has improved much. We stayed at a cottage that provides comfortable amenities such as ref & tv, and a fantastic view of Balayan Bay. All the staff are obviously out there to keep you happy. Monique and the rest of her Front Office people are very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent location, facilities could use more maintenance though. Our room had a broken shower that staff were unable to fix. After several follow ups and a few hours later, they eventually moved us to a better room. The further swimming pool and its walk way could stand to be maintained better. All-in-all, decent. Timing is also key, as activities are contingent on the weather. We came during a typhoon so everything was closed.

activities and airport shuttle are very expensive - no other choice”

The resort is quite nice - the room was good and the ocean there is amazing. Only the aircondition was a bit noisy. The problem was that the location was quite remote and we didn't have any other choice but to book any activity and the airport shuttle through the resort. Scubadiving was good - but about double of the normal price. Also the airport shuttle was about double of the normal price and we didn't have any other choice than to accept their offer.

Nice Hotel”

The hotel was a bit far and once you arrive at the parking area, you have to ride a shuttle about 3-5 mins. The hotel was great but the food was a bit pricey. The pool was awesome and the room was great.

Their Sepoc Beach is a must-see!”

Nice resort. Old but well-maintained. Sepoc beach is a beauty! Unfortunately, you have to order their packed lunch or if you bring your own food, you'll be charged with a corkage fee which is quite expensive. Their minimum lunch buffet at the beach is 550/person. We ordered ala carte instead. And it's not that good. :(

Humble private vacation outside the city”

If you're looking for an interesting weekend getaway for some me-time, check out Eagle Point. If you're looking for a fully-updated, modernized luxury resort, this probably isn't for you. I spent a couple days in Manila for work and decided to stay the weekend to explore a new area. I'm so glad I stayed at Eagle Point who have tons of activities to keep you busy and also access to a private beach cove to help you disconnect with the world. From Saturday morning breakfast overlooking the water, Saturday afternoon beach bumming and snorkeling on Sepoc Island, Saturday evening sunsets and in-room massage to Sunday morning introduction to dive class, I was exhausted and refreshed all-in-one. While the rooms are adequate, the staff is super-friendly but still learning English, the food and services are priced at a premium, the experience of staying in Anilao was worth 5 stars to me. Know what you're getting into and manage your expectations. Make the trip the adventure you want. I definitely hope to come back here again.

A very nice relaxing hotel right on the coast. ”

Great hotel interesting ride down from the car park to the resort... Unlikely anyone would want to walk either up or down to the resort....Great place to stay we didnt dive but looks to be a great location for that. Its just a lovely relaxing place to stay. Usual questionable standard of Philippines Internet but that was the only down side as I wanted to use it. Staff were great, helpful thoughtful. Like getting the fan before they were asked or I even thought to ask ha ha

Comfy, Spacious, Great Stay”

overall experience was good. attentive staffs, great hospitality. the only downside was from the dive center - they have all the hidden charges which were added to the bill when i checked out. When questioned, the dive center lady said 'no it wasn't our fault. But why didn't you ask the staffs if there's any other charges before you proceed?'' i was there to dive around anilao - luckily i only had to face such situation at the end of my stay. over all stay was good. if you're there for diving, make sure you check for all details before you proceed.

The only resort in anilao that non divers enjoy”

For divers there are lots of other options available. This is the only resort in Anilao both divers and non divers can enjoy for more than 2 days. Food is great lots of options even for non Filipinos. Kids will love the pool and snirkelling in their house reef. Divers will find the dive facilities ok but nit as robust as the other dive resorts. It i provides a great compromise for divers who need to be accompanied by non divers to Anilao. It is the only resort in Anilao that kids young and old will appreciate.

Peace and Quiet”

The hotel is very nice but it is very isolated. We took a bus from Manila to Batangas only to find we had to arrange special transportation to the hotel as while it was located in the province of Batangas, it was very far away from the city center. When we finally arrived at the hotel we were greeted at the gate by security guard armed with a sub machine gun. Food was pretty good although I think an expanded western menu would be in order. Internet access is available for purchase but the WI FI is slow during day light hours to the point that it is virtually unusable. How ever it works fine in the evening hours. No souvenirs available to purchase with the resorts name on it, only standard souvenirs so no reminders to take home from my stay here. Staff were very freindly and attentive at all times

lovely hotel, great for divers”

Great place to stay, good food, proximity to beach and a loto of facilities for you if you want to become a master diver. There is a lovely pool with a slide that gets crowded and noisy (especially kids playing) but there is and an endless choice of places to go sit relax and enjoy a book if you want to. Price is reasonable and the shuttle comes to pick you up and drop back on top of the cliff where the main road is. Definitly ill come back there

staffs are friendly, very welcoming. plus points for this hotel is they have their own Island , 15 mins boat ride for only PHP 2,000 for 8 persons and you'll enjoy a serene, quiet island. They offer kayaking and snorkeling , diving at very affordable prices. Great hotel. Every Saturday night they also have live band

i can hardly say enough good things about our stay at eagle point...its heaven if you want a peaceful quiet resort to be with the one you love. i cannot say enough great things about the friendliness of every single employee. they certainly make their guests feel welcome likeyour visit with them is very very important. as long as you are not looking for a place with lots of activities at your immediate disposal you will love the beauty of the quiet atmosphere. we wanted to stay an additional night but regretfully they could not accomodate the last minute change...but they tried... we got engaged at eagle point and with any luck would like to get married and honeymoon there ! thanks grace and mark and each and every single employee for the "royal treatment" !!!
