This is a Place You Should Avoid!!!”
It was a bad experience for us for paying RM220+ to stay at a place feel like budget-hotel at a nonstrategic location, with no staff serving at the reception counter (we have to go around searching for staff for check-in), spoilt television, low-battery air-cond remote, etc. Not worthy for the price.

Serene but full of disappointment”
The picture display that the place is equipped with pool but there is none. The river at the back of the hotel is definitely owned a serene environment but no much you can do there. If you come around August, maybe you can enjoy the fruit season there.

Good place to relax and some privacy”
The place is lovely. We love the privacy at the resort. The room was clean and quaint. The breakfast was quite good. Not much outdoor activities to do within the resort itself but you could always find some activities nearby. ATV ride, archery, hiking, waterfall among other things. We come here to relax and that's what we got at Suria Hill.

A very nice place for the people who love nature. Strongly recommend this place and hotel. Clean, quiet and near to the river, also friendly staffs and people around this area. Sure will come back again. Cheaper price if you booking through Agoda. Try to get the room with balcony. Quite remote,better to have own transport and prepare your own food, especially if you are not interested hot and spicy food.

Bad choice to stay... ever!”
I booked eRYA by SURIA Janda Baik but unfortunately when we arrived there, all the room was fully booked. They told us there’s a system failure in their booking online so they transferred us to another branch in Bentong which they told us its just 15 minutes away. Believe it or not.... it took us almost 45 minutes to get there, damn! Once we got there, they gave us a double queen room which not what we ask for. The toilet was totally gross with mould and dirty floor, almost throw up. The bed sheet was dirty with dust and plastic spoon under the blanket. Don’t ever think to choose this place as its the worst place we ever been. Breakfast was tasteless...... totally regret to book this place. Not worth for every penny you paid!!!!

Worst trip ever!”
Kettle, coffee & tea was not provided in the room. You have to go to the dining area which is an open area. During the night, the main entrance was left opened caused wild dogs entered the area, running around & barking for hours. It was damn noisy & i couldnt sleep at all..from 2am til 6am still too many dogs outside. Cant even went out to takehot water to prepare milk for baby. Will never come again no matter how cheap they offer.

Place for near trip from KL Valley & to chill out from KL”
Pros - Breakfast is delicious. Management dont like to waste food..That's good. Only a few menu will be serve like nasi lemak, mee goreng, mee hoon which is good also because no need to cook much because not much visitor. - Kampung style. U look for your own activity - River nearby (but not too close with chalet-need to climb up small hill..at least you guys can do some exercise..hehe) - Dont have mosquito even in forest Cons - Dont have kettle to boil water - No swimpool (But its ok, still have river) **So far ok for me 3 Days 2 nights stay..luv relaxation, sit in a bed & watch tv

Asked for queen bed but was given twin sharing. Air-cond not working. Did asked to change the room but was told subject to availability. Reception always left unattended. Have to come down to look for room service since no one answers call.

My worse ever stay in janda baik. What ever you see in the website is not 100% true. Small room compare to advertised. Not friendly staff, dirty bed linen, unmanageable surrounding environment, etc. Not worth fir money where you can get better accommodation at other places in janda baik.

The foods for breakfast were delicious even limited choices Nasi Lemak, currypuff n toast bread. The cleanliness need to be improved in terms of toilet, room, smelly blanket and surrounding. I this this place is more likely homestay rather than resort.

The hotel was not at all as the photos advertised on all websites. It is obviously lacking in maintenance and is very basic indeed. There are no tea and coffee making facilities, not even a kettle. Very basic TV channels provided, certainly not good enough for international travellers. Wi fi was very poor and unreliable. No one to assist with luggage to the rooms. The breakfast was extremely basic. There is a window above the entrance door to the room which allows the hallway light to shine directly in to the room making it difficult to sleep at night. We had to tell them to turn off the hallway lights the following night so we could sleep. There is very little to do or see or do in the Janda Baik area, better off staying around Bentong if you visit this this region. We paid for 4 nights but were so disappointed that we decided to take a financial loss and checked out after only 2 nights. No pros to staying here, or even in the Janda Baik district.

Run down hotel, going quite deep inside from bukit tinggi town area. Nothing much to see and relax. Limited breakfast variety and not so clean with big lizard poo.

Satisfying Stay”
This is a good place only if you really want to get away from all the buzz of a city. Really quiet and basic hotel with a nearby river where you can go to enjoy its serenity. A bit disappointed that the chef was away during our stay and no hotel food. Nevertheless, there is a small Malay family restaurant about 100 meters away but if you need proper good food, have to drive out.

4th Visit disappointment with new staff attitude”
Pre-requested adjoining room but got rooms 202 and 203 separated by a staircase despite being told it was arranged upon checked in. Asked the PIC is this correct and he said yes. Asked for adjoining room 204 instead but was told not available as it had problems. Later complaint room 203 fridge and water heater not working but told it was working after supposedly being checked when we're away. Returned but still not working and after arguing with housekeeping asked PIC to come and after more arguing was given room 204 to resolve water heater issue(sharing bathroom) and fridge was replaced from room 202. Strange that room 204 had no problems actually. Also at breakfast had to look for staff who was actually hiding away at back room instead of monitoring the food was replenished. And this was at 8;30 a.m. Very disappointing visit this time after the 3 previous visit that was enjoyable. Please train current crop of staff who more interested in eating the orchard durians than serving guests

Erya was a quite area, small and homely in fact. Breakfast options were basic, but very tasty and enjoyable. Rooms were clean, bathroom was equipped with basic items and water supply was great! It is located rather deep in compared to other hotels but a good place for a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Location is nice, love the environment. However room is totally different with the photo. There are unknown stain on the bed sheets. Heard snoring from the next room. 24 hours reception but no one was there. Bad attitude (Maybe because of just awake from sleep.) If you are reading review, please read forward further few pages. There are a few 8-10 point given from the 1st pages. Take your times to read .
