Expensive but value for money”

Unlike the Hilton across the other side of the NEC Genting offers a better price and has better facilities. Rooms are good and staff are friendly. it's like a mini-Asian hotel concept with shopping center attached which includes good restaurants and cinema.

Spacious room”

The best hotel to stay in if you are visiting the Genting Arena. The bedrooms are really spacious and the walk in shower was just fabulous. Breakfast was very varied something for everyone and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel having stayed at the other big chain hotel at the site also. This hotel is much better value and the rooms are so much bigger.

One Night”

Attended an event at the NEC Walked across to the event area - very close to Hall 5 - I was heading to Hall 20 so not that further to go. I arrived very late and was happy to see 24hr Room Service but the menu is weak. Breakfast was standard. Did not go gambling; so no idea of what this area had to offer Nice surrounding area Nice bar in top floor with live music and balcony

Lovely hotel ”

Lovely room , efficient staff, quite a walk to the lift so if you have any mobility problems ask for a room near it. No views from the room looking out on concrete roof but we didn’t come here to look out of the window. Great bathroom , room service good and mini bar in room , iron and hairdryer , all toiletries provide , a really good stay

Twin or not”

I booked the room in January and had confirmation that the twin beds requirement had been notes. On arrival I found that the hotel had not noticed this and we had been allocated a double bed room. We were two friends travelling so would prefer twin. After quite some time the hotel managed to accomodate the request. So a shaky start, but then everything else about our stay was great. The rooms are a good size, white company toilietries and nespresso coffee machine all add to the stay. The rooms have plenty of room for storage and surfaces to use whilst putting in makeup etc. We preferred this room to the Crowne Plaza. The drinks and tapas food in the Highline bar were excellent and we enjoyed the band in in World bar. The shops were good too we both bought a pair of Skechers. We will stay again.

Fantastisk”

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, we arrived to a very warm welcome by the staff at the reception. A quick check in with complimentary drinks each. We entered the room an it was a lovely room and was very clean. We had a lovely meal out an drinks in hotel bar. Which we enjoyed. Overall was a fantastic stay we really enjoyed ourselves.

OMG ”

From beginning I went to room the key was not working then changed my gave me another room. When I went to room found bed sheets was dirty I was very disappointed. this is my first time here. I did not. expect this from 4 star hotel. I compliments to the reception was very disappointed so leave the hotel early I did not stay the night. Reception person and was not even helpful . I wish they could give me upgrades my room or refund. Not happy at all.

First visit but not the last!”

Excellent location for visiting the NEC, friendly, efficient staff. Lovely, bright, attractively furnished room overlooking the lake, with large walk in shower. Shopping complex, with further eating places and cinema, attached to the hotel which is a great 'extra'

Concert Stay”

My mum and I stayed at the Genting Hotel as we were watching the Script in the arena. A fabulous place to stay and so convenient for the concert. All the staff we encountered were excellent. Breakfast was also very nice.

First time stay did not disappoint”

We stayed over following dinner & Casino. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom great. The only disappointment was that, due to a room reduction rate on Agoda, we didn't qualify for access to the Spa and we happen to love steams/saunas. Front Desk Staff were informative and helpful.

Amazing service and comfortable”

We had an amazing night at Genting Hotel, starting with the easy parking and entry to the hotel. Gemma checked us in and she was really friendly, helpful and professional. We had gone with a superior room and was so glad we did, parking included and complimentary stocked mini bar and free prosecco vouchers for the Sky Bar was just the icing on the cake. It was our anniversary and they had kindly left a sweet message in the room which was lovely. Request for a room with a bath was granted. The room was incredible, nice to have the home comfort of a Nespresso machine and furnishings were to an excellent standard and super comfortable bed! Floor to ceiling window gave a great view of the lake and NEC and as it was the 4th Nov we could see firework displays in the distance which was lovely! The bathroom was lovely and the bath/ shower lovely - great power shower! The whole room has AMA big ambient lighting throughout - really made it feel special. Will def be back again thank you

My husband and I travelled to attend the Festival of Quilts at the NEC.”

The hotel was ideally situated, the staff were lovely and very helpful. A good breakfast was available and enjoyed. We were able to safely park our car in the underground car park until our departure. Hannah on reception was a joy and I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

One night in Birmingham ”

Really smart hotel, upscale, and perfect for NEC, Genting Arena, Birmingham international Tain station etc. Gorgeous bathroom & shower. And lots of places to eat & shop in the same centre as the hotel (Resort World). Would recommend for solo and couples

Fantastisk”

The only difficulty was in exiting the car park because exit ticket had not been validated. Had to back up from the ticket machine and go back to reception to get problem resolved. Annoying but other than this the stay was very pleasant.

Great stay”

Stayed overnight for an event at the Genting Arena which is conveniently situated across the road. Hotel is modern & clean, rooms are a good size , large comfortable beds ,we had a great night sleep, woke up feeling refreshed ! We had room with breakfast included , which was lovely , good selection of hot & cold food. Couldn't complain about a anything , great hotel! Will definitely be back!

Hotel is clean and high quality. Attached to a shopping mall with a few good restaurants and nice lake with walking path. Parking at the hotel is £15 per day. Or you can park at the mall for £10 per day. No free parking nearby.

Fantastic hotel”

The spa facilities were serene, quiet and so relaxing. The staff went out of their way to meet every request we made and were incredibly accommodating. The room was lovely and pristine. We heard no noise at night whatsoever. The shops and restaurants right downstairs were brilliant, the hotel breakfast was delicious. And being so close (5 minute walk next to a lovely lake!) to the NEC was perfect. So yes you may have to pay a little extra for car parking (£15 a day, and they stretched the 'day' for us) but its well worth it and no more than you would pay at the NEC itself anyway.

Great hotel let down by a terrible kitchen.”

The restaurant tried to kill me with undercooked chicken that the restaurant manager told me was part of the recipe when I complained! The rest of the hotel is superb just do not eat there if you value your health.

Good hotel....”

It was good; having being open only a week, there were a few teething issues but nothing major and I am sure they will be overcome with time. Only one negative, access to the hotel is via the shopping centre, I believe there is an area for guests to park their cars with direct access to the hotel but this was not marked/highlighted very well.
