Great short-getaway from buzzing city”
1) Location 5/5 Perfect for those who drive cause it takes us only 2hours inclusive of jam to reach 2) Hotel and facilities 4.5/5 New, spacious, clean but room have a bit of smell (probably need some sanitizing) . We tried their Mexican restaurant , food is amazingly good and highly recommended for the health conscious cause it is not too oily and salty. Main restaurant buffet selection is pretty wide. Their cafe also serves good coffee but can have wider selections of pastry. Gym is spanking clean with wide selection of equipment including Didn’t use the pool cos is always so crowded. Every level has water dispenser for you to refill water. 3) Staff 5/5: Everyone is welcoming and efficient especially so during the breakfast hours . From the counter crew to restaurant crew to retail crew to house-keeping crew and even the security guard, everyone is smiley and they can answer you pretty well with our queries. We also went to the water theme park. like it

Wonderful Birthday Vacation”
We had a great weekend & Merdeka holiday here. We are here to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. The check in process was smooth and fast following the Covid-19 SOP. The Deluxe King room was spacious and very comfortable for the 3 of us. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet at Sessions was simple but good and well organized. The birthday dinner we had at The Elephant and The Butterfly was wonderful and the Mexican foods were so delicious. Aizat entertained us with his fabulous service. The waterpark activities at the Adventure Waterpark was quite limited due to the SOP and the wave pool was closed for maintenance. Overall, we had a great vacation and thank you HRHDC for the wonderful service. We would love to come again soon.

Extremely nice place”
We had a great time! Rooms were spacious, clean and new. Staffs were extremely nice and courteous and always willing to assist with any queries we might have. My 5YO daughter had a super fun time in the Roxcity Kids Club. Pool is a little smaller (much smaller then HRH Penang) but I believe thats cause of Desaru Coast Water Park next door. Guests of HRH has direct access to the Desaru Coast Waterpark. So thats another plus point. Food was good. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Similar to HRH Penang. It was good. We went right after the hols. It was calm and quiet. Weather was perfect. Cloudy and windy with a bit of sun and light drizzle. Overall fantastic stay and experience. We will definitely be back soon! :)

Magnificent staycation”
Beach is clean and smooth sand, even though sharing with Westin private beach. Suggest to walk to the beach instead of hop-on HR free shuttle. Beach is just 10 mins walking distance. Roxity kids club, suggest to scan the QR code situated in-front of the roxity kids club door entrance before the door opens. The club opens at 10am with limited 15 kids per session, been queuing in front of the club since 9am. At 9.55am the door opens and the staff starts calling name who had scan the QR code earlier and registered. I filled in the QR code quickly and manage to slot in 3 kids.

Perfect hotel with kids”
The location is very convenient, with lots of food options available. Service quality of this hotel is excellent with very friendly and accommodating staffs. Rooms are clean and well furbished. Most importantly, for family with young kids, this is the perfect hotel for you given that it is right beside a very nice water theme park and there is a private direct access to the park from the hotel. Overall, a great place to spend a getaway with your family. We'll definitely be back for more. Keep up the good work, Hard Rock Hotel, Desaru!

Had a great 2 night stay here. Hotel is clean and new. Complimentary mini bar that is top up daily. It’s quite a comprehensive minibar with soft drinks and packet drinks, kit kat, double decker, and biscuits. Staff are all very ready to help. Staff at Kids Club was also wonderful when we left our 3 kids there. Buffet dinner is great but breakfast was not as good. Overall we enjoyed our stay and kids can’t wait to be back!

Celebrated our anniversary here for 3D2N. 1. Great service- All staff (from counter, restaurant, pool, etc) were very attentive and friendly - customer oriented culture observed. 2. Great food - breakfast as expected from 5star hotel. Lunch and dinner at Sessions is really good. Celebrated anniversary dinner per their package at the Elephant and the Butterfly - tremendously good! It’s something that we will remember and come back for again. 3. Great facilities- spent the whole time in the hotel - the pool, the playground (our daughter loves this), the coffee place, and of course the live band! Was also duly surprised Hard Rock set up a stage on the second night, coincidentally on our announcement! Love this place!

great for family”
Went there with my entire family. The check in was smooth for me, however my sister in-law room was receive pretty late. their room was ready at 5pm.The guest next to us at the reception also face the same issue which understandable of her anger since the room is not cheap . Thanks to the abang reception (forget his name) for helping placing our room near to each other. great for children as pool & playground available. safety also were strongly practice at the pool. kids have to wear life jacket. At night we hang to listen to the live ban d. The room is clean.instead of providing disposable water. We were given the metal reusable bottle (save the turtle) but do note that the bottle is not for you to bawak balik ya. the only issue I have is our room is one of the shower faucet do not work. Try to book a spa session but it was fully book (should book it earlier). The breakfast buffet is good. you are been seated by the staff. the water park is literally next door. I wish it was included in the room purchase however the staff said that its only included if bought thru their website (do note that also). I think its an all round kind of place. everyone from all ages can enjoy their stay here. If you have the extra money to spent I really recommend staying here

the best vacay for 3 days 2 nights ”
we went there for birthday celebration & staycation with the kids. HRH have easy access to Desaru Waterpark and the kids really enjoy it! staff very friendly and sharing some info of local restaurant for dinner (seafood so fresh and cheap!) kids also can join kids club which available at HRH which have so much activities for them. meanwhile mom & dad can have free time and enjoy the beach at the Westin (there have available bus charters to few places). At night have live band at the lobby hotel cafe. special discounts for HR shop for stay guest. for birthday we got free cakes! the staff of cafe so nice gave my kids with free chocolates

Great place to stay with your family”
Our stay was short and sweet. We love the room, ambiance and cleanliness. Food is also okay. The best place to stay especially if you intend to have fun at the Desaru water park since there is a direct access to the park. My only issue is only during check in as I have to waited 2 hours plus to get my room. I hope they can improve on that. Otherwise, good place to stay!

Everything was perfect. Especially it's near to the theme park. You can re-entry the theme park if you're a guest at this hotel. It's just that the ticket price is not worth it. Quite expensive and not much ride. For kids, not much things to play. As for the room, i suggest to have more hanging area for clothes/towel. I choose the room with the theme park scenery. Ended up, can't see much of a view since the trees is blocking it. Breakfast was awesome. Many varieties and nice. But downside is if you were to dine in for lunch,the food is quite expensive and the taste is way below then expectation. Hotel location is good. 10mins drive to seafood and shopping. Overall love this place.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff are friendly (security, bellboy, front desk, restaurant staff, housekeeping staff, customer service staff, chefs) are all well trained and accommodating. My family had our dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The pre prepared food was not much of a choice but it was good. The check in and check out process was fast and the front desk staff was so attentive and patient to answers all questions. My nephew had a blast celebrating his birthday at the hotel. We were given a connecting rooms with the water park view. It was superb! Definitely will come over again for our next family trip!

Great place for families and children”
I love HRC desaru because its spacious, new, friendly service and most of all its so fun for my children. Yes the pool is quite small but the whole point of staying there so you get the best access to the waterpark without having to drive. We got the best unobstructed view from level 7, love the water coolers concept and refill bottles. The kids club is complimentary and so fun, my kids didnt want to leave. The nannies are fun and hands on too. Food is delicious in HRC desaru. They have good live band. If they have a beach front it will be perfect!

Great service from the hotel. Staff was friendly too. Everything is perfect. Just that quite expensive for the location. I would suggest the hotel to have a hanging area for clothes/towel. The breakfast was awesome! With many varieties of food and the taste is superb. But downside is that when we dine in there for lunch, the food was a little bit turndown and the waiting time for the food to come is quite late. We bought tickets to the theme park. Good thing is that it can be re-entry if you're staying at this hotel. But the price for the theme park is not worth it. Not much ride. Overall i enjoyed my stay here.

Is amazing hotel with great amenities, great restaurants, beautiful pool and most relaxing environment. But the best part was the awesome, attentive and super friendly staffs. Particularly thanks to Didi, on duty manager and Zul, guest relationships manager for their professional and considerate help on all our request and arrangement, thank you guys for your thoughtful and caring to insure that we are enjoying our stay. Not to mentioned, front desk young lady, Sarah who made our check in pleasant and smooth. Everything is perfect. Can’t wait to go back again, many times.

it was a great stay as i stayed with my family. we stayed 1 night and it was great. breakfast spread was great. customer services r superb cuz is 5 stars obviously. price is rlly pricey but i think is ok bc i stayed in 2 queen bed room and it was great. Everything was ok just that location is pretty far from town itself bc there is nothing much to eat except the hotels food cafe etc ? But it is a good location because it was located beside the waterpark and it was great! do stay here with ur fam or bf gf if u wanna travel c:

Good place to stay but have few to comments”
Good place to stay only thing my room was so far as i use agoda. Amenities must call to replenish not like other hotel i stayed if second day they will just replenish mineral water and coffee tea even have which is our entitlement. Only complimentary drinking water given on first check out second day must use reusable water. so we have to buy mineral water for travel. Balcony not clean and dirty so i dont use.

great for a group holiday”
manage to get connecting room for our girls holiday. get the room at level 6, air conditioner for one of the room are not functioning well, it s just fan not cold at all. the toilet have not bidet. quite frustrating, we are in Malaysia. why dont you cather for the Malaysian culture instead, dont care how international you are. the breakfast, at first we have told as ala-carte. end up actually pre-buffet. all the menu is on the buffet table is just already put in plate like in your school canteen. overall we have a pleasant stay here! oh yeah got 10% discount on shopping in house.
