Makes you feel at home”

We arrived to this place pretty late and the owner went more than beyond to help us get safely to this beautiful rural village. Hous Hapi is just a couple of minutes walk from the station, so getting anywhere (to Hallstatt or the ski-resort) is very convinient. The hosts are super friendly, and we where greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived. it's a great alternative to stay with lots of value for your money. We will certainly stay again.

Ultimate location for Hallstatt visit”

Host Larry is so kind and helpful and the vibe if the house is peaceful and clean. We really enjoyed staying at Obertraun over Hallstatt and can recommend this place to be the best in the area. We typically stay at 4 or 5 star hotels during our trip and found Haus Hepi to be more pleasant. Also, the room had a great view of the beautiful surrounding mountains.

The house-owner are very kind, always put smile on their faces and speak well English. The whole house was warm and well arranged just like a new one. Breakfast is on the ground floor, with a balcony and a hand-made breakfast, which is really great. There is a buffet on the first floor, with handmade cookies and some drinks(water and tea are free, and the rest like soft drinks, beer and wine doesn’t cost most), books and board games to play, and a large lounge for chatting and eating or anything you want. The rooms are new and warm, the toilets are very clean, and the rooms with balconies have direct mountain views, which are quite beautiful. If you want to come to hallstatt, it's highly recommended to stay here.
