Pleasant stay”

This hotel is nicely decorated, queit at night. About 10 minutes from kundasang town. The scenery is awesome with KK mount view. Supposed can see sunrise with mountain view but too bad it was too cloudy during our stay.

Nice Mountain view”

It is actually very nice decoration resort, but many room are old and not maintain well. Many ants inside the room wall. Overall is a nice place for mountain view.

A Little Corner of Heaven”

Initially when I was booking Jabez Resort, I was a bit nervous because the place looked a bit old. But upon ariving at Jabez, I found that it's not really old - it's just a simple place but my god this place is so beautiful and the auntie working at the reception is very friendly. I titled this review as "A Little Corner of Heaven" because that's what this place feels like. It's high up on the hills of Kundasang. Very peaceful, quiet, cooling, cozy and generally really wonderful. Kundasang was the highlight of my entire trip to Sabah, and the fact that I stayed at a wonderful place like Jabez made it all the sweeter. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Amazing view”

Amazing place with a very nice view especially in the evening where u can enjoy the beautiful view of mount kinabalu as background of this resort. The place is very clean and will make u feel like home. Trust me you will feel so calm and peace at here. One word :- simply amazing. Wish i could stay longer and will come again .

Serenity & tranquility”

Amazing scenery of Kinabalu Mount at back garden can't be missed. Friendly staff, clean room with basic amenities, beauty artworks and tasty breakfast. Overall, cozy stay and recommended to others. Areas of improvement: -Breakfast variety -Music at lobby and restaurant -Nice aroma smell at lobby.

Service could be better”

Stayed a night with my family, room inclusive breakfast. The breakfast service was very slow and the options was very limited. Waited for food quiet long until the coffee gets cold. Hope you could improve on this. Other than that beautiful.

Cosy and comfortable stay”

The place is very bright. The first impression was great and u can feel that the owner spent so much love and effort in decorating the resort. I love the little things they put together using rocks and woods to make those cute decos. Room is so cosy and clean. Bed is warm and comfortable. The room temperature was just nice. Breakfast is free, simple yet tasty. The view is spectacular. Mount Kinabalu is just right at the back of the resort. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. Location is about 5 mins drive to kinabalu pine resort. Personally, I have no complain and I love it so much. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

EXCELLENT - SUPERB VIEW”

Location - easily accessible by paved road , it's located about 400m climbing path from main road between Ranau-Kundasang (10mins. from Kundasang, 15mins. from Ranau) Staff - very helpful, accommodating and friendly. They will always take care of guest's request and never lost their smile face. Thanks auntie for letting me go out at 330pm without locking d main door :) appreciate that View - superb clear mount KK view during the early morning (6:00-7:30am) with not much obstacles(clouds) * provided weather is good Facilities - acceptable, dont expect 5 stars resort, this is just ordinary resort for those who need peaceful place to rest. Room is adequate, only shower gel & shampoo provided, the rest u need to bring by yourself. Fan available. They do have a small cafe, decent breakfast with limited options(no big deal). BBQ facilities also available, but require pre-booking and extra charge. U can also jog around d resort :) overall : very satisfied and wish can stay longer!

Beautiful and peaceful”

This was the best resort Ive stayed before. Rooms clean and spacious with basic necessaries. Comfy beds. Had a peaceful sleep. Beautiful sceneries thru the windows and beautiful mount kinabalu view outdoor . You can even see the mount during breakfast. Beautiful sun rise. Best place to enjoy nature.

Given the mountain area, couldn't expect much at this price. But view is really great with mount Kinabalu and beautifully decorated garden for photo taking

Godt”

The sunrise view in the morning was stunning and the garden is well done. However, payment was done for 2 rooms of Deluxe A type, but we were given a Deluxe A room and a Standard Twin room with extra bed. We checked with the receptionist, the feedback is that they follow Agoda’s instruction & nothing they can do. We were very upset as we paid for the same price for both room and we got a smaller room which is too small to accommodate 3 person.

The Worst hotel ever in my life”

I checked in with my brother on 29th April for a night stay. The staff said there is no water supply for Jabez resort at the moment, how frustrating. Because its already 3pm ,I want to check in and take hot shower. Then the staff said they already purchased few hundred gallons of water and upgrade our room to family room (2 queen sized bed). Then I saw there were only 2 customers check in the hotel, that was me, and another customer I saw in the list. Where is all other customers? The review in Agoda said it has rating 9.0. But no customer? I wonder if this rating is done by the owner itself or what. After check in, we went to our room. To make things worst, we switched on the fan and light. But after 5minutes, suddenly no electricity. How frustrating, again. Then I called Jabez Resort number that were displayed on Agoda booking. Then staff picked up and say he cannot control the electric shutdown because its all blame on government gen set. Sounds stupid. Staff rude. Worst hotel ever

Signboard of location is big and easy spot while driving. Room is old design and simple but is clean and comfortable. Nice decoration at the gardens for u take picture. Dinner value for the price but breakfast need to improve.

Cool Place”

The room and beds were clean. Staff was also friendly & helpful during check in. I really liked the garden & Mt Kinabalu view . Only thing is the road leading to the hotel (dark at night). And parking is limited. And getting the coupon for breakfast was strange (had to get the coupon and order chit at the reception and not the restaurant itself). Overall - good experience.

Rest & Relax ”

Jabez located on the peak , its really a fantastic place for us to relax. The staff , cleaness , & even the simple Breakfast/ Steamboat taste are awesome. It’s surround by nice Florist Plantation , a superb place for those who like taking photo & Relax.

Rigtig godt”

A very good small resort by the road side. Have a great view to the mountain, slight away from the raining zone, then it is a a windy zone. Which i prefer windy rather than raining. Room was good. Food is good well, just the portion is too huge, half the portion will be great.

Very nice place”

View is a plus for this place. At the back of the resort can see Mount Kinabalu. A very quite and peaceful place where it is a suitable place for those who want to away from hectic city life. The price is reasonable and the staffs are friendly.

Moderate ”

Things need to improve: 1) Room furniture very limited, no tv - to provide side table or desk, with 24” tv good enough d. 2) water supply shortage - to provide additional or standby tank. 3) breakfast set very Limited. - to provide at least 5 or more set menu, or buffet type

Location”

This hotel location is about 5mins to Kundasang Town & about 15mins to Ranau Town. Although surrounding the hotel has no other shop lot, but it has a spectacular view to offer from the Hotel. Facility is just basic, no air cond & TV.

Good location”

Very easy to location the resort by using Waze. It is located in the middle of the attractions in Kundasang and Ranau. The rooms are not sound proof, might not suitable for those light sleepers. There're only 2 units of twin room on Ground floor and First floor, which are located at each end of the building (which means they are far away from each other). There's a very nice compound at the back of the resort, in which Mount Kinabalu on the left and sunrise on the right!!
