Best place to stay in Kundasang”
A resort that has most pines trees in Kundasung, it has a Christmas feel. There is plentiful of car park spaces, not to worry. I stayed for 3 nights in this place in Block S, which is the best block in the entire place. It is located at the highest part of the hill, providing spectacular views during the day and I did my night star photography just behind the block. When there is no cloud/mist/fog/moon, you can capture milky ways by using the pine trees as a great foreground. The special glimpse and secret lies behind the block which is a small hill. The restaurant also provided very quality food and its affordable, not like those will hurt your wallet kind. If you feel the food its out of your budget, you can head to the minimart next to the reception. A drink or cup noodles costs about S$1.30 to 1.50 . Its again very worth the money. Somethings to note, the breakfast provides unlimited coffee/tea/water/juice and only 1 choice of breakfast meal. The nasi goreng is the best choice.

Wonderful place”
Breakfast, lunch and dinner... not bad.. they have steamboat.. it worth to try, but their steamboat only on particular day. Cleanliness awesome, facilities also. The staffs are very kind and helpful. But it good if the management can consider about the security of the door. It very good and safety for guests because their rooms are automatic lock door. But on windy day and you are mesmerized by the view outside, suddenly the door closed! Ans my baby crying in room alone.. my bad also, so careless.. but their staff very effective, the door can be opened in no time. Staff always there if you need. Will repeat next time.

superb view but slow breakfast service.”
I stayed in S3 so the view was superb from my room & balcony. However, for the free breakfast the only served ala carte which we needed to wait longer for the meals to arrive, mind you that we arrived at the restaurant at 7am. If they already prepared the menu earlier, we can finish faster and enjoy the mountain view or perhaps we can start our journey somewhere else. By the time we reached Desa Farm, the cloud already covered the mountain hence we missed our mountain shots overthere.

BEST RESORT”
Best resort for viewing the Kinabalu mountain. Excellent staff to guide you and hospitality was good. Rooms are neat and mat was provided to reduce the natural cold but you can see the mist(clouds) enter your room. They provided all amenities inside the room. Restaurant is near by and viewing point also walkable distance. For children can play small play ground. Those who wants to do Barbeque they provided separate facility. You can awesome and memorable pictures of Kinabalu mountain from view point

Room is clean, basic amenities are provided including hair dryer. Daily breakfast is same but delicious, suggest to provide free fruits. Outdoor landscape is wonderful, clean and well maintained. Thanks to your staff. Nice mountain view. Will stay again.

Honestly, Kinabalu Pine Resort (KPR) is a personal favorite place for my family. We took the room at the highest peak in the resort (S2). It has an AMAZING view of Mt Kinabalu. Great location (close to town & eateries). Water heater and pressure is possibly one of the best! Breakfast is not THE BEST but it was good!! Even have a small sundry shop too. Overall, an amazing experience!!

Beautiful views of Mount Kinabalu could be seen clearly from this resort. Nice breakfast too & friendly staffs. Quite spacious room with basic facilities and clean too. Overall, we had a wonderful stay there.

Never a moment of dissatisfaction from start to end”
Great location, near to Kundasang main roundabout. We got block S, which is the situated at the highest part of the hill. Gorgeous view facing Mount Kinabalu. Great spot for sunrise too. Food is affordable and yummy. Make sure you book block S, because not all units have unblocked mountain view

Safety measures are great I saw a few guards roaming around the resort & curb lights are switched on at night which is great. Mimi the staff who attended us is friendly & easy to get along. I would love to see buffet meals for lunch or dinner i think that would be a definite plus factor.

The best for view and stay”
It was the best for me 17 years ago and still the best now. The viewing point gives you the best view of mount kinabalu. Food is decent. Spacious room and cozy bed. Near town and the road to this place is okay.

Great resort”
Stay here for 1 night 26/27 April 2019. Got R1 room.. Great Kinabalu view form my room.. Food & beverages also great. Have minishop inside resort. Suggestion : Can upgrade rabbit park from seeing only to being able to play with the rabbit

It’s a very good place for family”
Unlike a lot of Homestay at Kundasang which is along the main road and noisy with trucks travelling, this little gem is quiet and comfortable despite being in the midst of happening places. I really like it. The staff are very helpful. This is the first place I could ever reach receptionist every single time I call. Food is considered excellent in terms of accessibility and availability because I found it’s difficult to find places to eat after 6pm. Highly recommended especially for family travelling with young kids.

The property is well maintained. The Toilet and Bath have been upgraded since the last time we stayed here. The beddings were also upgraded and very comfortable. The ambiance is always exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves quality dining at reasonable price. Overall a very pleasant experience of revisiting this resort. Thank you
