my favorite resort! ”
i love everything bout this resort. kinda pricey but it is worthy! the staff are accomodating and you can even stay even after check out at no extra cost. the place is so quiet. perfect for relaxation! would love to stay here for a week. take note of the add'l fee for the buffet meals - it is mandatory. also they dont have TVs in the rooms.

Had an excellent stay. The beach is clean, the waters clear, blue, and calm. This will be my quarterly (if not monthly) beach escape, just 2.5 hours from Manila. Food costs P1710 for 4 meals, paid upfront at the resort, just take note that it’s not yet included in the booking. Food is ok, not outstanding, but not bad as to ruin your vacation. Beer is ice-cold at P80-P100 per bottle. Corkage is from P800-1000 per bottle.

Good Resort but PWD / Elderly Access not Great”
This resort is overall good esp the staff are all courteous and helpful. But my only problem is the stair. They have very high stairs and no easy route for PWD and elderly. Also they don't have swimming pool but the staff said they will have one constructed by next year. I recommend this resort to young people but not if you have a senior citizen. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Hidden Charges”
The room rate was good. But people must have to take note that once you arrive in the resort, they will ask you to pay 1,750php per head for the buffet which made me and my friends annoyed. They wont allow you to order ala carte and they will force you to have the buffet. Outside food is not allowed but you can eat it in the car park. Before booking in agoda pls do check and read all the terms and conditions of the resort or else they will charge you the buffet which we didn’t see when we were booking the rooms. The worst thing is it’s written down below or in the bottom when you are booking the room and you cannot totally see it unless you look for it. I think that kind of terms and conditions must be written on top and not in the bottom so the guest will be aware of all the charges they will pay before they arrive in the hotel. The place was good and staffs were good. But over all we didn’t enjoy coz we were already annoyed because of that FORCE Buffet that we have to pay.

okay this is my 5th time to be here, 2 times with my friends and family, 2 times with company (yes twice as company official venue wuth my canadain bosses) the place still look amazing, but not like before that there are no stoned structure no bars just simple cabanas, cozy rooms, nipa hut and the wooden stairs from the reception. For 5 years this place changed a lot but the good thing is they kept the naturals that already in there like the tress.they maintain the beach front and the friendliness of thier stuff. I thing that i've notice a very sad view ae those plastic wrapers in the water. the management tried get all of those but i think they more and strict compliance. the food is above average in terms of taste but the choices needs to be improved and the price a little bit hefty but theres always like agoda who could give satisfactory discounted price.

Read the fine print before booking”
The place is pricey. We were not given the option of ordering the ALACART menu but were forced to pay for and avail the buffet which was more expensive per person plus we needed to pay additional pet fee. Our advise, read the fine print which are sometimes too small at the bottom of the confirmation page so you wouldn't be surprised of all additional fees. However, the beach is slightly rocky but still a good place to jump in and cool off. The ambience is also really nice. There are cavanas by the shore where you can relax and take in the ocean view.

Place is very nice and relaxing, but you need to go through some rough road before reaching the resort. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Kudos to the spa therapist, they are really good. If you’re going to swim, suggest not to go far in the deep because of the jellyfish. My husband was stung a little in his arms when he went snorkling, the staff there immediately sprayed vinegar and advised not to scratch it. The itch and redness was gone after few minutes.

Decent Resort”
Pretty basic amenities. The beach itself is clean. The resort is quiet probably we came here Sunday. Do not get over excited about the buffet meal that wasn't included in the room rates (P1710/pax for 4 meals)- the food is just mediocre, I wish they can improve it because aside from the beach guests will remember the resort for its delicious food as well.

Yes, there is indeed php1700 per person payment which covers 4 buffet meals (lunch, snack, dinner, breakfast). The receptionist (noting that I booked through Agoda) asked me if I am aware of such when we checked-in at the property. I replied that I am because I was able to read the reviews. The meals were in fact okay but lacked variety. Still, it was enough to make me full. The property is beachfront and has a direct access to the beach. Open cabanas are available for guests. What a plus! Sitting and enjoying the view of the open sea! There are lots of activities which you can avail. You can jetski, kayak, bike, play volleyball and others. Massage costs around 350php per hour. Rooms are simple yet clean. No TV in the annex rooms. Room amenities include towels, bottled water, shampoo and body wash/ liquid soap. It wasn’t that crowded during our stay so we enjoyed the place as it was quiet. It was a good stay. The 1700php upfront payment meal payment per person was quite tricky (depends on how you handle it though).

Buffet Robbery”
After a long drive, all we wanted to do was drop off our things and freshen up in the room we already booked months in advance. Instead, we were greeted with "mandatory" buffet meal coupons which was way too expensive given the quality and choice. But if your idea of a buffet is quantity over quality then knock yourself out. Although a bit more expensive, I highly recommend Virgin Beach for better accommodation, better food choice and quality.

You just need to walk a few steps to the beach to enjoy the scenery and view the fishes under the sea. Rooms need upgrading though. While rooms are clean, it lacks amenities like toiletries and they can smell a bit stuffy. Their public toilets need cleaning and maintenance too. There must have been some bed bugs as well as we got red skin bites during our two- night stay there. Be ready to pay for meals in cash which is required at check-in. This should have been included already within the Agoda reservation platform so that the amount does not come as a surprise when checking in especially since there is no credit card option!
