Must stay when you are in Vienna”
Good location, very near underground train station, walking distance to many tourist attractions, room is suitable for small family, clean and practical. Free flow complimentary water and coffee at lobby area is very thoughtful. Several restaurants nearby (Jap cuisine within the building and Chinese just cross the road). Friendly and informative staffs. Free and strong WI-FI signal. Unfortunately no chance to try their breakfast as my booking did not include, we settled for McDonald’s, just at the underground station right below.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel. The location is amazing, right in front of the opera house. The price is low compare to the quality you get when booking this hotel. It is clean, rooms are very spacious and the employees are very nice and helpful. I totally recommend this place and will be sure to book again if I come back here (complementary sparkling and still water, coffee, beers and croissant Included).

My favorites for this particular stay were the cleanliness of the room. Enough space to walk around. The bathroom was clean and the shower was A+. The laundry room at the basement was a need. The lobby was really nice to hang out in( with all-day coffee and water) and it’s toilets so clean and pretty. The area had quick access to the nearest tram and subway lines. An easy walk to my favorite wurstel stand by the opera. Close enough to the shopping street. Breakfast with a lot of choices PLUS a juicer. That was the cherry on top.

The location of hotel is very good, close to bus and metro station, and many historical sites. It's really convenient for tourists. The room is spacious and very clean, includes an equipped kitchen for cooking. Complimentary water, beer, coffee and snacks are also provided. Most important thing is the staff is very kind and helpful for recommending restaurant and sightseeing plan. Thanks to Valentine (from Front Desk) helps us a lot. :) We had a very enjoyable stay here, and definitely will come back again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Located right out of a main metro station so you can get to anywhere you wish fast. Very clean and organized, and lots of classic Austrian atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Central location, 1 min walk to Karlsplatz station and state opera. All staff is very welcoming and helpful. Room is spacious with quality facilities, I don't have any complaints at all during my one night stay. Love the lobby area for rest

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Living Hotel and der Oper. The location is ideal: not coincidentally, a stone's thrown from all the old grand hotels (Bristol, Sacher, etc). The apartments are remarkably large and very comfortable, and yet (at least in August 2021) only slightly more expensive than mere rooms in other four-star hotels. The front-office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only slight shortcoming is that the Wi-Fi, while free and always functioning, is very slow.

The location is perfect - just in the center but not noisy. Staff was simply perfect, friendly, professional and smiling all the time. Breakfast really good, lot of choice and good quality. Rooms spacious, clean with equipped kitchen. Free snack in the lobby including coffee and cold water.

This hotel is within and old building which has been updated with modern conveniences. The staff is friendly and it's a great location. The only negative, as with old buildings, elevators have to be retro fitted. You have to walk through a couple of random areas and down a step then up couple of steps to get to it. Otherwise, the hotel was beyond our expectations.

A tiddy place”
A tiddy place a stone throw away from the opera house and round the corner from cafe museum. 1 min away from the nearest tube station...very easy to get to and from. free mineral water and tea/coffee: always a nice touch. Clean, quiet and welcoming. Down points: -internet is slow -beds comfort is so so -room pictures on agoda have nothing to do with the room you will get. That is rather disapointing.

Centrally placed hotel with spacious rooms”
Right in the city centre, this is a very convenient hotel for the main sights and shops, with many places to eat and drink nearby. The reception staff were very helpful, not just for hotel issues, but also for advice on things to do in the city, and how and where to arrange things. But the main benefit of this hotel is the room size. A large, well-lit space with separate living and sleeping areas, which makes it perfect for relaxing after a long day trudging around the city. We really enjoyed our stay, and were very pleased with our choice of hotel.
