The room was very clean. We had the room upstairs and there is a water dispenser, a fridge, dish soap, mugs, forks and spoons in the common pantry area. The common living area is furnished with sofa set, coffee table and a tv. There is a common bathroom too.

Exceeded our expectations! ”

My friends and I were there for an event at the sports complex. We found our stay at Megastar very convenient as it is just a few minutes away from the courts. The whole place was very clean and amenities all thoughtfully provided. Big compound available for parking. Getting to the town centre was also easy. Food stalls can be found nearby. We highly recommend this place.

Super clean and reasonable ”

The room was not so spacious enough, but it was very very clean and had everything I need. Refrigerator was not inside the room, but there was a huge shared fridge in the community space. Definitely I’ll stay here again.

Most importantly, the place is clean. We were last minute travelers and places are snapped up fast, booked a 5-bed room 1 day prior of our travel date with no expectations at all. We have never stayed at s motel/house like this before and we are quite apprehensive. Room is clean, the whole place is very clean. There are towels and shampoo/shower gel combo. Shower is ensuite. It is great for its price point. Owner is super nice, she told us about a morning market that we went to the next day. Definitely a 5-star recommendation for its price. She also let us stay until 1pm even though we were supposed to check out earlier (we were waiting for Zohor prayer time, but alas, it was at 1.20pm so we left anyway).

Spotless, Efficient, Just what we needed”

If you are looking for a place to sleep and what great value for your money, this is definitely the place for you. We were three men traveling together and we were looking for three beds at a bargain price. We found it here. We showed up at 1:30 am. I was afraid we would have to wake up the staff to be able to get into our room. Not true at all. There was a receptionist on duty and he was waiting for us. He was not at all disturbed at all that we showed up so early in the morning. The entire place was so spotlessly clean, I was afraid to walk on the floor for fear that I would mess it up even in my stocking feet! First-rate for the price. highly recommend it.

We don't plan to come and stay in Perlis. We're on our way to Thailand and some issues happened with Thai immigration. Decided to spend the night in Kangar and found this property online. We find this property is super clean and the nightly price was definitely a bargain. Highly recommended!

Courteous Owner & Pleasant Place To Stay......”

We arrived late, and by surprised the owner had already switch on the Air- conditioning for all the room booked....knowing that after 6 hour drive from KL and our hectic schedule during the day.... We had a pleasant stay in Kangar!!!! Two thumb up for the Owner......

Great value for money”

We stayed in a 5 bed room. Basic facilities like hot shower, refillable drinking water, air cond were all good. Parking is ample. Beds are comfortable and clean, Towels look dated and I think should be changed. Another downside is, there is no aircond control in the room. We were shivering and couldn't find the remote control. So, we ended up opening the windows to tone down the chill.

Very satisfied with the service, staffs is friendly. The room is big and clean. Complete with the basic amenities. The receptionist open from 7am-12am daily. Parking place is ample. Near to Kangar town. Highly recommended.

We booked a family room with 3 doubles and a single bed for 2 adults and 1 pre-teen and 3 young children. We were very impressed with spotless floors. We had large living room, with kitchen complete with water purifier. 2 very clean bathrooms. Windows had security grills and insect mesh. Solid entrance door, with security grill. Beds and sheets clean and comfortable. Air con and 2 ceiling fans kept the room cool. Quiet area, with parking outside the unit. Handy to Kuala Perlis (20 minutes) Jetty. 5 minutes to 24 hr McDonalds. Good location for overnight stay before catching ferry to Langkawi. Excellent value for money for overnight stay. Would come back again, if taking ferry to Langkawi.

Good experience as always”

We book (and paid) for 1 triple room + 1 double room. When reach there, the staff hotel saw that we're a family, so offer us the suite room instead (2 x double room with shared bathroom & restricted area just for us). Yes, need to pay a bit more (MYR 15.00) but we appreciate it nonetheless. Also we're able to check out later than 12pm at no extra cost. Definitely will return back here in future.

First visit to Perlis”

Its location was the primarily reason I chose this place as it was very near (walking distance) to the Kangar stadium. The room rate is a close second reason - really good value for money. The owner and staff are very friendly. Overall, two thumbs up!

The experience was smooth. Arrive at the place greeted by the staff accordingly. Registration process was smooth since all the details already fill in by Agoda. Short tour by staff follow shortly after that. Definitely going to stay again here.

Had chance to stay here during our wait in Perlis for the morning ferry. Located in city area, clean and very comfortable. Very friendly staffs. But little far from jetty, still we had grab. Highly recommended.
