Great view and place, kind hostess”

Our family of 5 stayed here 1 night and really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated with a kitchenette, balcony with table and grill and the bathroom had a large tub. There's a large window looking at the river and Nami that had an amazing view. Location is good very close drive to Nami dock and next door to a fun "waterpark" which is actually for water activities on the river like being pulled by a boat on rafts, and a big inflatable area. But best of all was the kind owner. She has such a warm smile and helpful personality. She negotiated better rates for us at the water park where our kids enjoyed raft rides, a family boat ride around the island, and they loved the inflatable area on the water. She also drove us there, arranged for a ride back, and drove us to a restaurant and picked us up beforehand. It made it so much easier and faster because we were in a hurry to get to the waterpark but needed to eat first. She also goes over local attractions. Recommend!

No regret staying here!”

The hotel is a abt 15mins taxi ride (ard 5,000 krw) from Gapyeong Station. The owner Mdm Seo is a very nice and friendly lady! She sent us to and picked us up from the zip wire. She even make sure we settled down with the zip wire registration then she left. The day we checked out, she sent us to Gapyeong Station. Really apreciate all these kind gesture. The room is with very nice view of nami island, clean and comfortable bed and pillows.

As beautiful as the pictures. Excellent view, facilities and service. Good for people who like quiet and relaxing time. Must go to the pension by taxi and there are no restaurants around. Must bring your own food to cook and eat there. But the great view and relaxing time in the jacuzzi makes it worthwhile staying there for a few days.

Great pension, great view, great host”

The view from the room is spectacular, the atmosphere is very comfortable. The garden in the hotel is also very beautiful, many places to sit while looking at Nami Island. The rooms are very spacious, there are rice cookers, stoves, refrigerators, even there is a grill on the balcony of the room with some comfortable seating.

I stayed at Moonlight Blue Pension with my mum and sister, and the owner was SOOOOO nice to us. She drove us everywhere and even helped us book the Gapyeong Rail Bike because the site was in Korean. She also helped us with our rail ticket booking back to Seoul. She was so warm and friendly and is the best host - everything you read about her on the reviews is true! The property was so beautiful too. the views are great. my only regret is not staying longer. it was a great getaway from city life indeed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

spectacular view of nami island”

u can enjoy spectacular view of nami island by staying at room and looking out from the windows. staff are really helpful, she has helped planning my trip and even drove us to the bus stop and train stations. though it is hard to communicate with her in english, you can still get the message and good hospitality from her.

Good scenery and comfortable”

The hostress of the hotel was very nice and helpful. She drove us to our destination though she was busy . The hotel was located at the opposite side of Nami island, and both of the rooms (included the bathroom)could see the island. It was very comfortable, I would highly recommend to our friends.

Friendly Host and awesome room”

Impressive room setting that is huge to host a family and a great view of Nami island. It has a big window right beside the bed. A jacuzzi in the bathroom and equipped kitchen which you can cook. The host is really friendly and helpful to plan out our itinerary in gapyeong. She is more than willing to send us to Nami Island stop and pick us back from there. Though she doesnt speak much English but she try to communicate with us. Really appreciate all the effort!

Ms. Kim is very helpful, nuce and friendly to help us and family in booking the bus tour to Petite french and Garden of the morning calm. Also she offered us a great help to bring our luggage to Gapyeoung station and assist us in booking the train back to Seoul. From our room we can see the Nami Island. The Best of Room + Value & Host ever”

Truly hope the next foreign travelller would be treated like us. Don't talk to the room facility & view, because it was so fancy and beautiful with Jacuzzi bath. We love the host so much, she took care of us like family member with free transfer and activities direction. 10 points for her. you just get there and fall in love with this place for sure.

The room is clean and spacious with a great view of Nami island. The owner is very friendly and she gave us ride back and forth the pension and Gapyeong station/ferry wharf. Anyway the pension can be reached by taxi at Gapyeong station with a reasonable price.

Beautful Scenery, Wonderful Host”

Location and scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We had a wonderful weekday reservation that was kind of last minute, but our host was very accommodating. She picked us up from the gapyeong station and provided on the spot concierge review of our itinerary. She even helped us buy our tickets to the railbike park. Our weekend would not have been the same without our stay here. As it was not a busy week, she even upgraded our room. Consider staying here, as it is quiet and peaceful and a bit removed from the noise and hustle of the nami island pier.

The Perfect Host that made the stay ”

We stayed here for 3 nights (May6-9). Mrs Seo, the lady owner is such a lovely person. She treated us like family, from fetching us daily to sightseeings spot, restaurant (even asking the receptionist to call her once dinner is over), Nami Island, etc . She arranged our rail bike tickets online. Words cannot described how grateful we are. Beautiful place, with good amenities like mini kitchen with complete utensils. Would definitely recommend this place with such a caring host.

Really enjoyed our stay!”

The lady who works there was super helpful and friendly, she drove us around and gave us information about city tour bus timetable, destinations etc. The only downside is that there is no breakfast, so every morning we have to cook our own meal, but it turns out to be a fun morning activity with the family and when we come back at the end of the day, everything was cleaned. We love the view, the heated floor and the balcony area!

Highly recommended! The host is friendly and helpful. We had some delays during the journey to the location and she had waited for us to arrive at 10pm. Felt really bad about it but she was still very nice towards us. The studio room was great! Spacious and directly facing nami island. The view was fantastic in the morning when we woke up.

Very nice house facing the Nami Island. It's just the same as what you saw in the photos. The hostel hostess is very nice and helpful. She helped us to book the Zip- wire and the Railbike, She took us there and even came and drove us back to hostel after our dinner!!

The view from the room is also amazing! The jacuzzi bathtub (which also has a great view) was great too! Although the location is not easily accessible on our own, the owner of the pension drove us to and from nami island bus stop making it so easy and convenient for us! :) She even drove us to gapyeong station when we were heading back! Really good service :)

Excellent Servcie and Hospitally from Moonlight Blue Pension”

The Owner was very helpful. She recommended intinerary and ferry our group of 4 to and fro from train station. She knows very well of the place of interest and bus timing. She organised our trip so that we could do as much in two days. And a plus point, she had a Mandarin speaking colleague in the Pension. He could do the translaction if we have problem understanding. Great place to recommend.
