Great motel”
We really enjoyed ourselves the motel was very clean as far as the rooms the outside could use some attention but for the money very clean motels no bugs no noise very quiet motel we would definitely recommend the motel to other people and we will definitely be staying there in the future we were down for bike week and we enjoyed ourselves completely great staff very helpful nice parking felt very safe at this motel

Budget Friendly - No Frills but decent”
The staff that checked us in next door was amazing! She had a long line but handled the pressure well and kept a smiling face! The motel itself isn't new but it's good for the money! It was the most budget friendly oceanfront motel I could find for a quick weekend stay with my son. We were very surprised to find we had been given a two bedroom room. We expected the bare minimum and was pleasantly surprised. We did not use the pools but did find both to be clean. The room did have a bit of an odd smell but we just used air freshener. The beds weren't bad. The motel is an older motel but the room was decent. The carpet did have some stains. The elevator does only go up to the 6th floor as stated in other reviews but that wasn't an issue for us - although it could be for others. It's not in the greatest part of Ocean Blvd so watch out for your surroundings. It seems to be mostly used a Monthly or weekly stay motel. For the rate, I would stay there again. It's a place to lay down, shower, and relax while watching television!

Great staff and clean but the shower was problematic”
The hotel and room were tidy and simple. Everything smelled fresh and was in great condition except for the shower. It was supposed to be a handicap accessible room and it offered wide doorways, plenty of clearance to get around the room however the shower was a regular tub with a hole cut in the side and the area around the tub wasn't updated to accommodate this resulting in a massive amount of water spilling out of the tub when taking a shower (even with the curtain closed, as it just went under the curtain onto the floor) this resulted in a large portion of the floor having standing water and the water flowed under the tub resulting in a very spongy floor under the shower, where you would either be standing or have a wheelchair placed. There was obvious warping and damage to the walls and base of the tub indicating this has been going on for a while. I would consider other accommodations if you have a disability with mobility issues as I didn't find it safe as an able-bodied person (we were just placed in the room, we didn't choose handicap accessible). Otherwise it was a great room and simple motel with very friendly and helpful staff.

Good place for a cheap spot with good amenities around the beach. Wifi was wonderful and strong. The property needs to fix ups, but other than that no other issues.

Mistake ”
We arrived and the office was closed.I called the hotel and they said to come to another hotel to check in.Then I was charged.77.00 even.though I had opted to pay in full when I booked the room The explanation was you pay more when you use a booking site . The indoor pool was freezing cold and a couple of doors was missing to allow the wind inside. They had 2 hot tubs one didn't work.We were there 5 days and did not receive any housekeeping service.

Nice hotel on the beach. Room has heater/AC. Room smelled of smoke the first day. Left the bathroom fan on continuously and it seemed to help.

Beach Front hotel”
Getting a beach front view was good. Check in at Polynesian Hotel next door. Lobby has been shut down. We had to reclean room. Unclog air conditioner filter (not cleared in years.). Balcony glass had to clean to see thru. Carpet should be removed or flooring installed. Staff next door was very nice. Had to fix lighting (plugs corrosion.). If a good effort throughout to clean, replace, paint and upgrade these rooms, this could be an excellent choice. This is a studio with relatively upgraded kitchen and bathroom. In hallway ice maker not working. Currently, you can get a great ocean front view, close to sights an boardwalk. However, condition was disappointing.

We stayed a week 7 days 6 nights. Housekeeping knocked twice the entire time we were there just to ask if we wanted towels. The room looked like it was updated over 2020 but wasn't well taken care of. The lamps and stove were all rusty and the carpet was soggy and smelled musty in places. They claim to be non-smoking, but people were smoking everywhere. We couldn't even enjoy sitting on the balcony because everyone around us was out there smoking. They did an ok job keeping the halls and elevator clean, but the very short path to the beach was littered with trash. I tried using the washer and dryers. The washers worked well, but the dryer although it was on wouldn't accept any quarters to make it start. I asked for someone to look at it, and had to stand there for an hour without anyone doing anything just for a guy to walk up from the floor above and say they will have to call someone to come fix it, and to carry my soggy wet clothes from the washer to the dryer at the hotel next door. That dryer didn't even get my clothes dry all the way. We had to lay everything out in the room to air dry. The few times I went to the front desk to ask for towels, check-in, and check-out the staff either seemed annoyed that I was there, or high as a kite, and they spoke so softly I couldn't hear them. The balcony door in our room was broken so it was very hard to open and when it was shut it still let in the hot humid air and all the sound from outside of it. The TV was supper blurry and grainy almost like they had it set to mimic a tube telivision. All that being said. It was a great location and had an awesome view of the ocean. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, or anyone really.

It was an okay stay except they charged additional fees which they called "resort fees" and it's not even a resort!! The cable reception was also horrible and more than half of the channels were sports channels; not even a movie channel. Plus, my boyfriend had to repair the shower faucet just to be able to use the shower. Definitely won't recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay here again.

Don't bother sending a message with your reservation, they don't read it. Check in person was rude and didn't care about my concerns. Parking is tight, to say the least, and the shower on the floor above us leaked down into our bathtub.

Upon arrival I was given the wrong room and then was told if I wanted to change it was going to cost me $200 more. The staff is rude. I stay in the Ocean Plaza hotel and the office was closed the whole time I was there. We had to go to their sister hotel next door.. we could not utilize the pool or hot tub at our hotel cause it was dirty.. we had to walk next door and use that pool. I called the office and asked for house keeping to bring me some clean towels and a clean sheet and toilet paper and the lady in the office told me to gather up my dirty towles and BRING them to the office in the hotel NEXT door and then she would see if they had what I was requesting. I then reminded her that I was here on vacation and I wanted room service.. and then she hung up on me.. I called her back and then she hung up on me again. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

The front desk is closed down! No1 tells u this! When u arrive, hopefully someone lurking around in parking lot will inform u that u have to go to a hotel next door (with another name) to check in that’s how we found out! No luggage carts! Rooms outdated! People living here so u know how that is! RUN
