The best place to stay in Taal Heritage Town”
If you love old-Philippines vibe, this is the right place for you! They have a newly-built small swimming pool that I honestly think does not have chlorine as my eyes did not hurt at all. The view from the pool was amazing! The hotel itself is a literal house/ mansion that was converted into a hotel. Plenty of old and quirky decorations abound the place, it's nice to have a look around. The staff were really nice especially the ones who handles the car parking. Checking-in and checking-out were really easy as they have everything prepared in advance. The have a bar near the pool area; and also a restaurant for the meals. Almost all the tourist spots in the heritage town is walking distance from the hotel. The downsides: - Small pool (amazing view though, and depth was really nice 3-5ft) - pool and bar closes early (7pm and 8:30pm respectively) - parking space is quite limited (some might need to park along the street)

15th Anniversary Stay”
It was my 2nd time here but first time for my husband. A lot of things changed specially that they have their own pool now. We enjoyed our time together despite the pandemic, you can feel that this place really pays attention to sanitation and cleanliness. And I really love the romantic ambiance of this place. If you are like us, with an exceptional admiration for old houses and history, this is the place for you, too.

My kids fell in love with the place. Worth every penny. The staff are very welcoming. I didnt enjoy dinner since sweet kare kare and adobo na dilaw is just not my thing. However there are several restos and fastfood that you can go to so its all good. If you want some place quiet, clean and comfy, this is the place!

Stayed here for 2 nights and the staff were amazing all throughout our stay- from the front desk, the bellboys, the restaurant staff… they were all very polite and always willing to assist. Everything was also neat. The bedsheets, the bathroom floor, even the common areas are well-kempt. The only areas of opportunity that I can see are the water pressure and the lighting inside the bedroom. It’s quite dim but maybe that’s intentional to add a more vintage vibe. But overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place.

We had a nice stay even if we were assigned at the Annex, which was a few blocks from the main hotel. The staff are nice. The place is clean! We had a great time. Would definitely love to stay again, with even more of our family, lol!

Quaint Respite”
Paradores is a quaint and restful respite away from home in a historical setting. What a sweet little nook to end one's day in after touring the heritage homes of Taal. It is beautifully appointed--making one travel back in time without sacrificing the convenience of modern amenities. Our only problem was that the rooms weren't soundproof, which can be a pain when there is a big party taking place in the restaurant downstairs.

Travel back in time in Paradores del Castillo ”
Old family mansion turned into bed & breakfast. It is a fantastic place to stay in for some r&r and the location is in walking distance to all tourist sights in Taal. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is super clean and the room we stayed in is beautifully decorated with old and modern infusion. The pool area and the veranda are great place to relax and they have a nice Italian and local Taal cuisines fusion restaurant called Ristorante ITaaliano. I definitely recommend this place for a unique experience in the heritage town of Taal!

Customer service is superb. From the time i booked, they were very helpful. They are the ones who reach out and very to call them back. Rooma were very clean,you'll feel safe since they're this feeling that sanization is properly done. They sanitize the pool after every group who swam. All of the staff were respectful,accomodating and attend to our needs immediately. The way going to the hotel might let you think that you wanna go back home but inside the resort,what a very beautiful experience. Will definitely recommend this to friends.

First class amenities in a provincial setting”
If you want to take a vacation in Taal Heritage Town and willing to pay for first class amenities (good service, hot shower, aircon, wifi, awesome buffet breakfast, the works!) , do stay at Paradores del Castillo. The place itself is a heritage house turned into this nice bed and breakfast place. Very appropriate for the heritage town setting. The buffet breakfast that comes with the price is superb! The restaurant has a good menu, as expected because it is run by the Triple V chain. The vintage decor and old-style wooden furnishings are lovely. The room is big enough for 2. Highly recommending this place!

The staff here are super nice and very helpful. They can actually make you feel at home. The location is also very good since the hotel is located at the middle of the heritage town. You can actually just walk to all the museums and churches from the hotel.

This place is really nice- and so are the fantastic members of staff! Definitely worth a visit. I'd love to visit Taal again just to stay in this place! The location is perfect too. 1. A couple of things to be aware of: The airport pickup was very expensive and they were more than an hour late. They were very friendly, though. So, next time I'll probably arrange alternative transport. 2. It can be a bit noisy at night- in particular the week end. 3. The week-end has buffet breakfast, other days you order the breakfast, so the breakfast is much better on week-days. Really yummy.

Very accessible and worth the price”
The hotel is quaint and comfortable, the staff are polite and service is prompt. The best feature is that it's walking distance to all the places of interest in Taal Heritage Town. Casa Recuerdos is just across the street, where you can rent costumes and have your photos taken. The swimming pool is nice, but could have been bigger. We stayed two nights on a weekend and the buffet breakfast was the same everyday - I hope they introduce a revolving daily menu. Food was okay, but not that great. With the hotel being owned by the Villavicencio family of Triple V group of restaurants, I expected better fare on the menu. While the hotel is generally clean, the restaurant area is not - the fabric table cloths are not changed often and were already stained. However, these are small shortcomings, and overall, it was a pleasant stay and given its ambience, location and service, it was worth the price. I will stay here again and will definitely recommend to friends.

Like taking a time machine back in time ”
Staying here felt like taking a time machine back in time without sacrificing any modern comforts of a good hotel. The entire town was a real cultural experience and staying at the Paradores really tied it together. The premises are well preserved and you can really see the great lengths they went through to keep it as authentic as possible.
