worn out hotel on a dirty beach”
The rooms were not clean, the curtains, bed spread, and towels - and furniture were worn out. The service in the reception was not very smiling. The beach in front of the hotel was dirty and not useable. There were not free hotel wi-fi, which today is common on almost every hotel. Overall view is that you don't get what you are paying for. we were very disapointed and the hotel does not live up to the 4 stars. The food was good, and the staff in the restaurant and pool bar was polite and OK.

It's a great place to visit in the weekend with your kids as there is a great pool. It's located near the sea which brings a great view to the hotel during sunset. The rooms were clean and they had great sanitary facilities. They followed necessary precautions in order to keep the staff and guests safe from the pandemic. The food was excellent as it had a great variety of them. I enjoyed my stay there. A good place to relax with loved ones... ❤️Nice Colombo Harbor View!

Had a lovely stay at this hotel after my arrival before heading out Colombo. it is a lovely hotel and very conveniently located. staff was very helpful and the room was clean. Just hotel requires some renovation as its been built years ago. nevertheless the place was clean.

We really enjoyed our stay, so much so we stayed an extra night. The staff are incredibly helpful and nothing was too hard or difficult. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, as is dinner. Special thanks to Kaveesha, Vimansa , Hiruni and Chandana. Always service with a smilie.

Bolegenese tomato falovour and salt was very high plus I bought a chicken burger in night and the chicken patty was over flavours of garlic , but the staff service was good like always

The staff is very attentive and helpful. The hotel is nice and has good amenities,the pool is nice and the lights in the evening. The rooms were spacious and clean and toilets were good and pleasant also. Food was good and the price was reasonable,breakfast buffet could have some more variaties. Overall it was a nice stay,one time they got my order wrong for dinner but they gave some free papadums. Another time it took some time then they gave complimentary soup

Building is a bit dated on the outside but excellent gym and hotel very clean. Not really close to many restaurants but we ate at the seafood restaurant on the property. Many locals had their wedding photographs taken at the hotel which was nice to see their colorful outfits. Staff are friendly and tried to help where they could. Would stay here again. Value for money.

Pegasus hotel has improved a lot. We stayed in this hotel a long time ago and it was not so good. Now the room has been renovated and it is very nice and comfortable. We stay for 2 nights downstairs room. The buffert breakfast and dinner was excellent with plenty of varieties. Staff offer a good service in the restaurant. The welcoming of guest in the front door need improvement, as we need to take the suitcase from the van ourselves. The swimming pool was good but need more chairs and umbrellas. and a bit of renovation as well. The pool guy was good he make sure people had shower before entering the pool. Nice garden and it was good to see so many weddings. We will come back to Pegasus again next time. The price is affordable, nice food and very relaxing.
