Good location for the NEC”
I'm giving it 3 stars overall. Hotel is clean, rooms are compact. Staff are nice. I'm knocking one star off as the £6.85 overpriced breakfast should have been included in the overall price. I'm knocking another star off as the description 'continental' has been abused when applying to what's on offer for breakfast. Fresh baguettes this is not! Bit of (mouldy) bread for toast, and unappetising mini-croissants. I’d recommend you save the £6.85 and get a relatively decent breakfast at a local McDonalds.

Good location with suitable facilities. Shower a bit of a dribble but otherwise all ok. Staff helpful and friendly

Could be a nice hotel but isn't”
Positives: Comfortable mattress and pillows, the 2 staff members we encountered were nice (although not very pro active when mentioning the issue of lack of lighting) . Negatives: Hotel generally; For some reason it has two signs with different names which is confusing depending on direction of approach!!! Understaffed - no reply to doorbell forcing us to ring to for attention - the reason given being the receptionist was cleaning the rooms!! Room itself; Light bulbs missing, bathroom light not working, hair on shower tiles, creaky, wobbly bed bases, dusty windowsill and top of sockets etc so cleaning was not very good. We had a twin room so small there was NO room to swing a cat, only one bed was in a position to watch TV (for which most of the Freeview channels had too weak a signal so could not be viewed and if anyone is a 'larger' person you could not sit on the loo nor get in the shower.

Where do I start? ”
Positives- location was fine, it was nice and quiet. Staff were welcoming and polite. Negatives - it wasn’t clean.. at all (sorry the bedding and towels were clean). There was a previous guests pubic hair in the shower tray, there was grime, soap and scum all over the tiles in the shower. The radiator in the bathroom was next to the toilet so you burn yourself when you sit down (had to put a towel over it). The carpets in the little bedroom was dirty and not hoovered- bits all over- we had to put towels on the floor to avoid wearing someone else’s skin. The beds- really soft but hard and springy. The room smelt like a static holiday caravan. Such a shame as my review would of been positive had it not been for these details.

Awful Matress”
The mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. I hardly slept at all and felt tired all the next day. The least you would expect from a hotel is a decent mattress.

Acceptabel”
Do not book this hotel as there is no hot water to get a shower and the bar prices is expensive for a tin of Budweiser is £5.50 and it isn’t even a bar it looks like a store room and continental breakfast is £7 a head which is expensive when u just get cereal and no toast or fruit juice the room is fine but expensive to not able shower with hot water 🙁

اوصي اصدقاءي وأنا كل مرة ساجيء انه نظيف بس المشكلة انه مايرجع أي مبلغ اذا اراد شخص ان يغادر قبل المدة ولا بد من تغيير هذا اتمنى له التقدم وأنا اعطيه خمسة نحوم
