Bidet problem”
I stayed at this hotel in early November 2018 with two other friends for about a week. On the first day of our stay, we had a little problem with the bidet. It's not functioning so I called the front desk to get someone to help us solve the problem. Minutes later, the staff that I'm talking with on the phone arrived with a technician. Sadly, there is a problem with the bidet and they are very kind to move us to another room located on the floor. On another occasion, my replacement luggage from Malaysia Airlines will be arriving and I asked the help from the staff to receive the packaging since I'll be out during the day. The staff there were very kind in receiving the package and called me in the room after I arrived at night to deliver it to the room. Overall, I love the the hotel. It is very clean and their staff is very helpful and friendly in assisting their guest. I would definitely consider this hotel again the next time I visit Seoul! :)

Best stay in Korea ”
I went to stay in different hotels in Busan, Jeju and Seoul. This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. The service is wonderful, I told them I needed help to extend my car rental. They help me without hesitation and in the end I got my car rental extended. The room is so well thought of, the wall sockets are international standards so most country plugs can use it without having to bring their own adapter. The toilet is clean and huge, and I was surprised that they have a sofa area and table for us to have supper while watching tv as well. The tv is able to rotate in different direction so we are able to use it either on bed or sofa. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Seoul

One of my fav hotel ”
This is a great hotel to stay in Seoul. Location is great, at the footsteps of Hongdae with plenty of food choices and only 2 stops away from Seoul Station. Easy access from the AREX - opt for the All Stop Train and alight at Hongsik University. Look out for Exit 8 with elevator access. Otherwise, use Exit 9 and walk up the steps - a good way to exercise after all the eating! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I love the deco of the room too and the size of my room - Creator Room is of the right size for me. I appreciate the fact that they did not have the travel size toiletries and have recycle bin in the room - great effort! I would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Seoul!

Love the staff’s attitude at the point of check-in till my last day spent at RYSE. they made me look forward to returning to the hotel everyday and RYSE felt like my 2nd home. Although I only spent 5nights there, I could foresee myself returning there in future. Housekeeping is prompt (though i have to request for their inhouse mask on certain days), lobby is very modern, staff is extremely efficient in English, rental of umbrellas is swift, room is spacious, the design of the washroom is beautiful, prime location and most importantly, the Front desk Manager Amy brought us to the room and explained all the features and amenities which was very informative. I have nothing bad to pinpoint about this hotel and would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. Price is on a steeper side but still affordable as compared to Singapore. Thank you for the warm hospitality received! :)

Great room with accessibility to st”
Room was really spacious and clean, and everything was well-design for a stylish and comfortable stay. The staff were really friendly and most were able to communicate with us in English which was really helpful, as I'd left my credit card at a store & they were able to contact & liase with the store for me. Plenty of shopping, late night dining around the hotel and the bus stop to the airport is just a 5 mins walk. Would definitely stay here again ! : )

10/10 would recommend. I love that it’s in Hongdae where there’s so many food and shopping places around. The hotel is about three to five minutes walk from the metro station exit 9. Great location and easy to travel to places from there. Room is clean and pretty. True to pictures. My room was at level 17, and there’s a bar at level 15, but I don’t hear any loud noises from the bar or the street.

The hotel itself is so nice....services, staffs, location, facilities, etc. Definitely will come back for this hotel. Staffs speak English and very helpful. The room is so comfortable, functional and clean with professional design. Yummy lemon tart and coffee is recommended at the hotel’s cafe on 1st fl. It’s a wonderful hotel with a beautiful atmosphere surrounding.

Nice and unique hotel”
The design are very nice, in the lobby, rooms and toilets. It is different than usual hotels and its was a good experience. The room was clean and it is in the centre of Hongdae. Perfect for people who are planning to spend a lot of time in the hongdae area. About 5-7mins walk from Hongdae subway 9.

What service should look like”
One moment told me everything about the service here. We got back to our room late, but couldn't get in, because the battery on the door lock was dead. Disaster, followed by bad review, right? Well, the staff said they'd have it fixed in no time, and meanwhile they arranged a table for us at their rooftop bar. Bar staff were also extremely nice and had a great chat with us. Not 10 minutes later, everything was fixed, drinks and snacks were on them, and we were back in our room to rest. Sure the location, room and facilities were all awesome, but the service is what tops them all.

Amazing customer service ”
My wife and I were on our honeymoon and had a great time at RYSE during the three nights we were there. The room was spacious with good views of the city. The room had a nice colourful vibe. To top it all, the staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make recommendations for things to do, and help us during our stay. Chloe, in particular, was very helpful and even sent us a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon!

A 4-star Hotel with 5-star Service”
Spent 2 nights at the hotel for a business trip. Was recommended by our Korean partners. And boy wasn't disappointed by his recommendation at all! The staffs there were as friendly as you can get. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel is very near to the subway station. A lot of nice places around the hotel as well.

Definitely the best hotel I have been in Korea. Facilities are new and well-designed, all staffs are fluent with English (best in Korea indeed) Rooms are spacious and clean. Wonderful choice to stay here. Close to Hongik Commercial area, very good....

Very recommended. The room was cozy and has unique interior design. Floor and bathroom are also clean and in nice condition. Breakfast dishes taste good. Bluetooth speaker sounds so nice that I'd like to buy one.

Artsy, spacious and convenient ”
This boutique hotel is definitely worth-staying! The room was spacious with inspiring interior design. There’s a cafe and craft beer bar on the 1st floor, and a decent bar on 15th floor, so you have no need to worry about nightlife activities. Moreover, it’s located in Hongdae area, so you will be staying in the area full of shopping, food and nightlife options!

Had decided to try this hotel due to high ratings and wasn't disappointed at all. Staff were friendly and helpful, room is comfortable and clean, location great and near to an exit from subway. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous design, comfy beds, friendly staff”
We love everything about Ryse. Apart from its obvious great sense of design that you can see from any photos (and the real place looks exactly like that!), it has extremely comfy beds, spacious bathroom and nice scented toiletries, plenty of English-speaking tv channels, yummy cafe on the ground floor, great friendly staff and the list goes on! The only downside we would say is the teeny Hongdae area that wasn’t quite the vibe we’re expecting. Although checking out young Korean crowd going out on Fri and Sat night can be quite fun. And the good part is that the area is full of cheap eats and drinks. Location-wise, the hotel is easy to commute with plenty of transports to choose from underground, bus and taxi. Its nearest exit from Hongik station is exit 9, which is only 5-min walk to the hotel. There’s a direct Arex train from the airport which takes about 40-50mins to Hongik station.

Great hotel in a prime location”
Absolutely loved this hotel. Great vibes, super friendly staff and prime location! Right in the heart of Hongdae and walking distance to the train station. Would stay here again if I ever return to Seoul!

wonderful experience ”
the staff in the hotel were all so friendly and helpful. they also speaks very decent english for those who have trouble understanding korean. the room i stayed in had really nice view of hongdae and it’s just so perfect. it’s clean, sleek and so comfy to stay in!! location wise is also very convenient, just a few minutes away for hongik university station and right behind the hotel it’s hongdae already!!! will definitely choose this hotel the next time i revisit the country!

Excellent location and service”
We stay there for 4 nights, the location is ideal, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and a center with all young K-pop students. Staff is so dedicated. Nicolas, Carol and the whole team treats you like family members. Thank you Ryse team.
