Great for a family vacation”
Had a great stay at Sand & Sandals. The Premium Deluxe Garden view room was spacious and clean. It has a little backyard with a swing that is accessible to the pools which was nice and convenient. The resort was under-staffed due to the Covid Conditional Movement Control Order but the resort staff really did their best to accommodate everyone. Do give them a break during this unusual time. We did not venture out so we had our meals in the resort are were pleasantly surprised but how good the food was. Everything we ordered was great but the chicken nuggets I ordered for my 3 year old deserves a shout out. It was made from scratch and was very tasty. A pool bar at a resort is always a plus point for me but their pool bar overlooking the sea deserves 2 points. Overall great experience and will definitely be going back.

Great for family”
We as a family really enjoyed our 3 nights stay in Sand & Sandals. Everything is perfect if you can look past the check in process (the only downside of this resort for us). The room is HUGE! and we got a room with both the Pool and sea view. Couple that with the bath tub on the balcony, made the stay really relaxing. The breakfast is also great. Got slight variations through the 3 days, which help us to not feel bored with the selections. The pool is huge for me to have my swim, and our kids love the water slide so much. Will surely stay here again if we ever visit Desaru again.

Family resort with nice private beach and huge rooms”
We used to stay at L**** resort. Decided to book this to try it out though itnis more expensive but I think it is really worth it! We got a free upgrade. Huge room, spacious for me to place my stuff generously but room is Abit dim even with the lights mayb it's orange suppose to have a cozy effect. Bath room is huge.. you will not bump into the walls. Swimming pool is great though it doesn't have a water park. The clean beach has compensate for it. Breakfast area is abit too pack on a weekend and feel that pricen for children is Abit high.. esp for a kids 12 years and below..they dun eat much but has to pay rm $30/kid. Will be great if they consider lower the price to rm$15/ kid. Staff are smiley and polite.

A really great Kids Friendly hotel!”
The room was spacious and clean. Loved that the hotel had a kids room, an arcade (like really a real arcade), this really cute coffee shop and the pool was large. The hotel had a few varieties of restaurants and the distance was not too far from other shops in town.

To sum up the whole trip, money well spent!!!! ”
Had a small mix up with the check in but management was very good as they upgraded my room to the suite without any extra cost . All this was done when the time I went up to the lobby for the check in around 13:50 and at 14:00 sharp I’m in the upgraded room. That’s very good management. And the stay was excellent. Good job guys . Will be coming over again for sure.

Quick escape and staycation”
The hotel is good nice, and by far, personal opinion the best to me. Great space of room, nice spacious swimming pool. Breakfast was decent and nice with good range. Front desk was nice and helpful, very friendly as well. I am a frequent visitor to Desaru as I love the beach there. Certainly, I will be going back to this hotel hereafter.

Value for money”
We booked our stay for 2nights and we were very satisfied with the services.My kids enjoyed bath tub and pools so much.Gym location in the middle of the pool is very convenient.It is just 5mins drive to desaru coast adventure waterpark.One thing if hotel can improve is breakfast buffet,lack of choices and please improve the taste of the food,some was tasteless.But overall we enjoyed our stay and recommended.

Was very happy with our stay there. The room is big and clean. My kids love to go to their swimming pool. Location is good, self drive to Desaru Water park is only less than 10 mins. Will definitely return again.

Best beach and perfect ambience for sunrise”
We were looking for a beach to swim and we found the most beautiful setting. We watched the sunrise, and sat on the mossy rocks, played on the swings and swam in the huge pool afterwars. The superior room was huge, bigger than most studio! Value for money indeed!!

We had a superb moment here with the spacious room, big swimming pool as well as easy access to the beach. Meanwhile, there is one staff worth to be mention, her name is Myra if im not mistaken. She was so professional and well trained in doing her works, so polite and friendly. Overall, this is such a worthy place to check it out. Kudos to them!

Excellent Hotel”
Pro: Room is relatively big with balcony and view of the sea. Pool is good with slides for kids to enjoy. Also have an arcade room and indoor playground (with aircon)... again for kids to enjoy their time. Staffs are friendly and greets you with a smile. Checking in/out was a breeze. Few restaurant within the resort so no need to go far (if you don't mind their prices) Cons: Massage costs ~200RM which is excessively overpriced. Food is OK but also a bit expensive. Bar is open until late night and was too loud considering our room is quite far (can't imagine the guests with their room too close to the bar). Lastly, on our last day... we saw a snake (about a foot long) near the pool. Told the staff about it and was surprised to see him took a broom and a stick to take care of it. Dont really know what he did with it as I went back to the beach to look after my kids. Overall, our stay was great. Surely will recommend the place and we'll come back to stay again. Thanks!

Suitable for kids, beach and pool at same place.”
Few years ago, this hotel has been rebranding. This is our 2nd visit to this hotel. My daughter really enjoying her time at here. Big pool. Since this hotel located near with beach, it is an easy access for us to go to beach. They have friendly staff and they are so helpful. Surely we going to repeat back soon.

I have a great holiday here”
Pro’s: - big room and bed - nice environment and surrounding - good maintenance - they have tub at the balcony so you can relax and unwind there -big pool - clean beach with swings, volleyball court and soccer court at the beach. Your children would feel happy to play there -game room and play room, the kids love it - staffs are friendly and helpful Cons: - breakfast provided need improvement in taste and variety - they have 6 restaurants to dine in. Place for eating outside was quite far, need to drive. So if you are lazy to go out you can call the room service and you know its not cheap.

Good Hotel but check in slow”
Stayed for few times, but always told u lack of manpower so have to wait for few hours at the lobby to get the room key. Other than that, still good, clean n nice pool.

Awesome staycation”
Despite the reviews. This is the best staycation we’ve ever been so far. The room was nice. Although, the channel was quite limited. My kids are having fun playing in the tubs while we sit back and enjoy the seaview. We’ll be back in the future for sure.

Big Pool”
Room was good. Food was good. overall is okay. However, im missing the point of bathtub put on the balcony? who will use it? at night, youre inviting mosquitoes parties just to have a refreshing bath in the bathtub. other than that, my kids enjoyed the pool.
