A splendid stay at Splendido”
We booked the room at a discounted rate (thanks Agoda 💕). My fiancé & I spent our anniversary there. We were commuters, and good thing, the hotel provided a van going down and up the steep hill. If you plan walking down to the hotel, I suggest wearing sturdy and tactile shoes bec. it's quite the elevation and kind of a hike. Be weary. The staff were so nice and polite. Hygienic and clean, as to avoid COVID. The hotel was prepared for COVID as well. They have sanitation stations and the room was provided with sanitary items too. Amenities, view, room inclusives were great. The one I wasn't quite happy with was their food. As we had breakfast inclusives, we chose out of a menu for them to serve during breakfast time. When it was served, we only received it via paper take-outs, understanding, because of the pandemic. But still, wouldn't hurt to be served in the room with actual plates and glasses. The food also was quite oily and salty, very salty :(. But serving sizes were okay. Had also fresh fruit one breakfast 1, but none in breakfast 2 😅. But all-in-all, it's a 5 star stay for us. Fiancé and I really enjoyed our time. Till' next time, Splendido hotel 🏩!

Great Stay! ”
1. Location is nice, it's not so close to urban areas that's why you can really find serenity here. They also have few guests upon our stay so lesser worries for us :) 2. The hotel itself is clean and very cozy. The room is just enough for the 2 of us. The bed is very comfortable. They have a fast wifi and a cignal TV. We only suggest to add another chair or stool because there is only 1 chair available in the room. So that guests will be more comfortable to eat inside the room since it's pandemic. 3. The complementary breakfast is great. We ordered beef tapa and Cagayan Longganisa Sisig with hot choco and coffee. They have big servings. Looks like each serving is good for 2. ;) Good thing that we chose to eat in the cafe with the Taal view. 4. The staff are really accomodating and nice. Even upon booking, their staff attends to our calls and inquiries. They even accept our request of late checkin/out. Upon arrival, we forgot to bring dinner but kuya Alvin, the receptionist, helped us to order since it's already late. The rest of the staff are also friendly and always smiling. Overall, our stay here is such a blessing. Thank you so much, Splendido!

Quiet and Breathtaking”
This was our first out-of-town booking since the pandemic started. The hotel had requirements like Brgy Health Cert and waivers 5 days at most before the check-in. It was quite tedious but it is better. I liked that they put safety first before accepting guests. We had to come back to our brgy because what we first got was a travel pass not a brgy health cert. They also require a Php 1,500 incidental fee, which can be refunded upon checkout (just keep the receipt). I booked the Lake View Queen room and I must say that we loved it. We were at the corner room so we had the view of both Taal and golf course. We turned off the lights at night and see the twinkling lights from the houses afar. The location is a bit far from the Rotonda, which is the city center, but nearer in Twin lakes, Calaruega (closed), and Sonya's Garden. I must advise that bringing a car is an advantage as the main road and the hotel is a bit of far and steep walk. Parking is FREE. We walked around and saw the pool, billiards, bowling area. They also have a sauna that I saw in the locker room. We swam for a bit but I had hives so we had to go back to our room. We availed the breakfast meal. During the first day, we ordered it via room service because we got up late. We were advised that it comes in a to-go box. The next day, we had it on 4th floor cafeteria, which is better. They served us with soup this time. We also had the very relaxing view at the balcony while eating breakfast. PROS: -NOT crowded -safety is prioritized -great view -clean -quiet -friendly staff -soundproof rooms -FREE SANITATION KIT (2 masks, alcoholc garbage bin for masks) -FREE PARKING CONS: -facilities (bowling, pool, etc) closes at 8pm -understaffed* *no makeup room, I'm not sure if this is because of COVID (towels and toiletries were dropped in a plastic bag) *no attendant to assist us when checking out. i just want to commend the staff they are all friendly.But the most interesting part was the free visit to country club, amenities were so great, ALL-IN-ONE the pool was great though it was freezing cold, spacious comfort room. they also have basketball court, tennis court, and so many more. i am just sad that bowling section was under maintenance. Free shuttle was also available. I also love our room because i chose the lake view, the only thing was, their comfort room, it is a bit tiny for me. Overall, it was worth the pay. Taal view and the hotel location and structure were picturesque :)

Weekend getaways”
We stayed for 3D/2N here at Splendido Hotel and stayed in a Premium Double room overlooking the golf course and part of Taal lake. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff were accommodating and allowed us to have early check in and late check out. We enjoyed the facilities (pool and fitness Center). They also have other amenities with discount like table tennis, tennis, basketball court. Though bowling is not available. The massage is very relaxing and surprisingly affordable. Though there’s no breakfast included in the accommodation but the place is near all the famous restaurants and supermarket. So overall it’s value for money is highly recommended. Thanks for our splendid stay at splendido! Me and my husband celebrated new year /honeymoon at this hotel, and we are so satisfied! Definitely we're going back on this hotel. Good facilities, clean hotel, nice view in our room (they upgraded us to lake view room, no additional charge), and very much friendly/respectful staff, and good and peaceful location if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle in the center of Tagaytay. Definitely a 5star rate from us!!!

Great stay! We stayed in the hotel overnight and had a wonderful experience! The room was clean and had a hygiene kit you can use as a precaution to covid19. The room only has a water heater if you like hot coffee or tea but no microwave to heat your foods. Got a room with 2 large beds that can fit 2 persons each then has a perfect view of taal.! my son really liked it there.

Amazing Stay!”
We attended a wedding in Caleruega and Splendido is just 20mins drive away. We booked a Mountain View Double Room. The room is big enough with a study and 2 Queen beds. Initially we noticed a flying mosquito so we called for the concierge. They asked if they can spray an insecticide but we were in the room. So the housekeeping came back asking if we would like to move to another room. So we did and it seems the room we were transferred to is an upgrade. We're thankful for the accommodation they made. Breakfast is plated but the serving is huge! Garlic Rice with scrambled eggs (that looks like 2pcs of eggs), 3pcs of Longganisa and half Daing na bangus! 6 slices of watermelon for dessert and they also served vegetable salad which we declined coz we felt the food we have is so much. Plus you can get cereals and bread with peanut butter anytime. Coffee and juice is also refillable. We felt guilty for not being able to finish everything on our plate. How I wish they just put the food in the buffet set up so we can control the food that we take. Nonetheless we're very much satisfied with our stay. Most of the hotel staff were courteous and always smiling. We also tried their restaurant. They have pastas but most of the Entrees were Filipino dishes. The serving size is good for 2-3 persons and the rate is just okay. We had 3 dishes (pork sisig, crispy tawilis and chicken wings with bagoong) with 2 rice and Pumpkin Soup split into 2. We paid Php600++. Parking is Free! All in all, we had an amazing stay.👍

Place has lots of activities..swimming, billiards, bowling, darts, golf, and others we haven't got the chance to explore. Great views everywhere for photo opps. Peaceful and Quiet”
The hotel is located in a very nice area in Tagaytay. The view is breathtaking. The parking space is on the 2nd floor of the building, and there is also an outdoor parking. We arrived a little early than the check in time and Ms. Liezl from reception, upgraded our room so we can already rest. There’s no room service but there is a restaurant on the club house which serves really good thin crust pizza. The hotel room also have complete toiletries. Me and my fiance enjoyed our stay :)

Memorable Stay in Splendido”
I called days before our arrival date to request our room with balcony which they noted very well. We arrived in Tagaytay earlier than the expected Check in time of 2pm but they allowed us an early check in at around 11:50 am, thank you so much The room is very clean and neat. The view is spectacular especially in the morning when the sun is up with the sea of clouds. The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating to any request. Only cons was the internet, couldn't connect. but it wasn't a big problem because we have our own. Thank you Splendido for making it memorable to us.

Exceeded our expectation”
I love the experience we had at Splendido Hotel, their rooms are very spacious, has balcony and got it for 2,700 only via agoda of course. The pool also is amazing as well as how all the staffs accomodated us. Overall it was indeed worth it, the only problem we had encounter was with the wifi signal its quite slow since we were working that night.

Our 5 year old enjoyed the pool as its just the right height to give him confidence to swim without floaters. Lovely view for breakfast and great value for money. So near Twin Lakes where we could get wine and cheese in Santis, pastries in Starbucks and lunch in Bag of Beans.

Affordable luxury”
We booked several rooms in Splendido Hotel for our wedding guests. The hotel was also our rally point for wedding preparations, make-up, photography and departure to the wedding venue. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, with breathtaking views of Taal Lake. The hotel staff were very helpful in accommodating our many last minute requests, all the while maintaining the highest standard of Covid protocols. For my wife and I it was our second stay at the hotel and we will gladly go back if we chose to stay in Tagaytay in the future.

Room - spacious and clean. Complete with fridge and electric kettle. Nice curtains. Staff - nice and service is fast Facilities - need to move to next bldg but it was expected. Nice and big pool and has a playroom for kids but they could have add rubber mat and fan since there was no one to operate the AC. Food is good as well and value for money. Overall we loved our stay and bec of the nice room and service from staff. Will definitely go back.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the venue of the wedding we were attending. The hotel staff contacted us in the morning to inform us about the Taal volcano situation and gave us the option to reschedule for safety reasons. We pushed through with the booking and the hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was in a peaceful location and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The parking area can be accessed from the 2nd floor. The rates were also reasonable.

Clean and quiet”
I actually enjoyed our stay here. I was almost tempted to cancel our booking after seeing some reviews in other platforms, but glad I didn't. Came here for a two night stay to attend a wedding, and the location was quite convenient. Away from the bustle of Tagaytay proper, and situated some ways from the highway, you can be assured of a very quiet stay. Not quite for anyone without their own vehicle, as the roads going in and out of the property are hilly and steep. Also a bit of a walk from the highway, although I understand there is a golf cart available to bring you around the property. The room itself is very clean, and smells clean. Spacious and with the basic necessities you'd expect. The free small bottle of rubbing alcohol and face masks were also a nice touch. Plenty of parking available. They allow outside food since their restaurant closes early and there is little to no choice for snacking within the vicinity. Which is fine because the area itself is teeming with great food choices for all budgets. We intend to return for some more staycation, the quiet and breeze is perfect for zoning out the busy work week. Staff as well are very accommodating and courteous.
