Great location, wonderful staff”

Pros: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! It is a short walk to Sky Ranch, about 100 meters, and just right beside Robinsons Mall. They have spacious rooms. Pet friendly area. Great and friendly staff. The breakfast options were all so yummy. We felt truly at home at Carmelence. We surely will be back as we intend to make this our getaway paradise in Tagaytay. Cons: no real cons for me.

Nice place to stay”

We arrived at the hotel and welcomed with very friendly and accommodating staffs. The blueberry muffin was so good! i wish we could take home the other muffins but we become too busy preparing for the wedding. Thank you for accommodating us and extending our stay for a few hours!! Place is so clean and i love there shower and soap 😁 its close to Robinson's supermarket so if you need to buy some medicines or grab some drink you can just take a walk. The room is spacious!!

Value for money. Clean place. Large room. Delicious breakfast (except for their coffee & hot choco, pls improve on your drinks) Very accommodating especially when I asked for a pail & a dipper since I have a baby who is not yet acquainted with showers. Will go back for sure. Parking space available too.

Pros: - homey ambience - tasty breakfast and many choices for it - accommodating staff Con: - didn't automatically clean the room. we had to tell the receptionist to clean it at night when we came back Very good experience overall though.

The place was serene, perfect for a retreat from the busyness of city life, I just wish that the big rumbling sound of the nearby mall would quiet down after mall hours though, (when inside the room, it becomes a muffled sound) nonetheless, the place was great 👍🏻

Good location, great value for money”

The room was clean and spacious and staff were attentive. Breakfast also good. Just had a minor issue with staff chatting and laughing loudly (our room was right next to the office) and there was a hammering sound due to repair being done at the next room. Apart from those issues, it was a very satisfying stay.

It would be good if there's a phone in the room so you don't need to go to the reception area if you need anything. Staff should be more welcoming and friendly especially those in the morning shift. Staff should be properly groomed. Improving the security of the place is also an opportunity. There's an open space beside the lodge that needs to be secured because outsiders can go inside the premises.

Excellent Place!!!”

Location is good. We're just beside Robinsons. Walking distance to Sky Ranch and overlooking Starbucks infront of Primark. Wala kameng dalang sasakyan pero noworries sa transpo kasi may tricycle and jeepneys na 24 hrs ang byahe. Mababait din sobra ang staff. Di lang namen nakuha names nila. The best din ang room. Will definitely return. 10 thumbs up!!! lol

Perfect staycation with family”

We stayed there last May 24 - 26, 2019 with my mother who is a senior citizen and my 6yo son in their Family Room. Place was perfect! Good location (near SkyRanch), staff very very accommodating and helpful, clean and spacious room, fast wifi and good breakfast. It feels homey as we are a few guests only. Does not have the stiff feeling of a hotel. Will definitely come back!

Worth It!!”

The place was not expected as beautiful and clean as we arrived. The beddings, lights, the kitchenette, TV, comfort rooms, reception and parking was all awesome. The staff are very kind and approachable. It is near the Robinsons Tagaytay, Hypermarket (primark), skyranch and Josephine's all are walking distance only. Definitely....i will come back to this place. Thank you Carmelence Lodge for the memorable date that we had with you. I am highly recommending this place and accomodation.

Keeps on coming back”

This was our 2nd stay here. The place is still the same as before. It’s clean, has complete amenities and very accommodating staff. The location is also great! The breakfast is still tasty. I love the beef tapa! :) we will definitely book here again when we go back to Tagaytay :)

The place is well maintained just 5-min walk to Robinsons Mall, where you can go around to eat and buy stuff. Have coffee in either Bag of Beans or Starbucks. 10mins ride or 15mins walk to Skyranch theme park. Breakfast is in plates and needs to inform the reception for your selections of American Breakfast or Filipino breakfast. The parking area will cater roughly 3-4 vehicles. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. Will definitely book again when get a chance to visit Tagaytay.

Gem in a city!”

I'm so glad to have found this hidden gem! We attended a wedding in Tagaytay and just wanted a place to stay the night. It's a quaint lodge house with a relaxing garden view. Robinson's is just beside the hotel so super convenient. Kudos to staff as well! I requested for a simple welcome birthday greeting. They put it on the LCD TV as a little surprise. Really appreciated it! Breakfast, thumbs up too!

Lovely stay”

The ambiance and location were good. We felt relaxed and Robinsons is conveniently located next to the lodge which is walking distance only. The room was spacious. Breakfast was good too! My senior citizen parents enjoyed the stay. We will definitely come back. Thanks!

Location is very convenient. Cleanliness could be improved. Food's taste was ok as well as price. My baby had a good night's sleep on the 2 nights that we stayed. Restroom was a bit scary to go to at wee hours of the morning.

Staff was friendly”

The location was excellent, the staff were accommodating. but if you are looking for staycation with privacy, this would not be the place. The sounds outside the room are loud, you can hear the staff cluttering outside and some ongoing construction. Room was ok however they do not have blowdrier and the wifi are on and off.

Family Trip”

The place is nice, kids loved the ambiance and location wise, it is very near at the malls, parks and markets. The only issue I had is the email response I got from a sales person via email when I asked for an early check in. I requested twice and explained that we are attending a wedding (thinking we can stay in the room before the event) but I got a rude response of "No, sorry". Just like that without any explanation, simple and short response as if that person is talking to a complete stranger around the corner. The email response I received was last Mar 1 at 7:19PM. I did not confront the person when we arrived but since I received an email from Agoda asking for a review, hence this submission.
