A Sanctuary ”

This hotel is surrounded by history with beautiful gardens. The breakfast is delicious- best cappuccino in town! It was hard to leave to go explore the town. We kept wanting to be back at the Collector Inn. It’s close to everything.

Excellent, Historical Property in a Perfect Location”

This resort was unlike any we had stayed before. Our room was larger with a separate sitting room and super clean bathroom. All the toiletry items you need to feel pampered. We were surprised how quiet it was at night, too. Easy, walkable access to everything in town. Loved how we could enjoy our delicious breakfast on the porch and then head out for the day and explore museums, shops and restaurants. Though the breakfast was the same daily, the choices were many to provide variety for your stay. All baked goods were very fresh. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Very warm and welcoming Southern hospitality. The pool and cornhole were fun to enjoy in the hot afternoons. The Well was a cozy place to grab a drink at Happy Hour and plan the rest of your visit. Don’t miss the historical walking tour of the property. A highlight for sure.

Perfect Couples Retreat”

This resort has everything I could’ve asked for. The staff are so friendly. Even the valets feel like they love their work. The gardens are abosolutely beautiful and make it more than just a room in a building. It is history at your doorstep. The buildings are all unique and done with top level fixtures and furnishings. We stayed in the Spear house and it was done very modern inside with a huge shower and the most comfortable bed. They upgraded our stay to a suite just because they could. Did not ask, they had the room so why not allow us to use it. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and many B&B’s and this one is in my top 5 for sure. If you ever go to Saint Augustine this should be the first place to look. It’s worth the extra cost. I was hesitant at first but I honestly think they should be charging more but I’m sure they want to fill the rooms. The owner spent a ton restoring these houses to make this beautiful resort and you should book a stay here any change you get.

Everything was wonderful! Absolutely beautiful location and landscape. Walking distance to downtown. It was a great time. We will definitely be returning for another vacay here :)

Wonderful hotel in a great location”

Superb staff, really helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in walking distance to all the tourist spots but still outside of the confusion. The hotel itself is great, wonderful architecture and setting. Couldn’t ask for more, just wonderful.

Just loved it, from the minute I saw it online, to the arrival and the valet parking and friendly check-in. I was given an upgrade to a King Suite with balcony, fantastic breakfast, lots of choice, friendly helpful team. They have it right. Please choose it for your next stay in St.Augustine.

Most enjoyable”

The visit was nothing short of fantastic. Staff were very professional, breakfast offered a very large variety of food and the location in the heart of the historic district was perfect for a two day getaway. On our next visit I would request a larger supply of tea for in-room tea enjoyment.
