Fint og rent hotell med mye fasiliteter for store og små. Meget serviceinnstilt personale. Fikk alltid god hjelp. Det er mye bygging i nærheten av hotellområde som gjorde det litt trafikkert, men vi merket ikke mye til støy.

Truly a five star hotel ”
Of all the five star hotels we tried in Sri Lanka, this was actually 5-star! The accommodations are clean, comfortable, new, and luxurious. The service was A+ and the food was excellent. If we have to find something to complain about the SPA felt a little makeshift. All in all we had three fantastic evenings at this hotel.

The food pool view and service were great the rooms were clean and spacious. Although the hotel is new the bathrooms are already starting to look a bit worn. There are no umbrellas by the pool and the rooms are not very sound proof so keep this in mind. Other than that an enjoyable stay

This is a beautiful hotel. The pool and bedrooms are breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond, it is slightly out of town so we didn’t venture into kandy but used it as a stop over place between other destinations anyway. The only complaint was that there is no spa area, only massage and treatment rooms. And the bar is very small and therefore busy. Overall excellent value for money and a beautiful hotel

It’s a fairly new property and hence everything works. The art decor on the walls is good and the sky lounge is a pretty nice place to chill with some excellent views to soak in . The rooms are spacious and excellent for families with small kids. The staff is pretty helpful with a positive attitude. On the flip side, the property is about 1.5 km from the city center and a little bit out of the way. One thing the hotel should work on is to provide an improved room service menu as the options are very limited now. I would definitely recommend this property for families with young children and more senior people.

Good hotel, comfortable bedding”
I chose this hotel given it's only one year + old. The hotel guestroom is well fitted out with good shower facilities and bedding is very comfortable. The staff was friendly and enthusiatic. The R&B manager and front desk manager walked around from time to time to talk to guests and provided good advice. One less satisfactory thing is about the intermittent power outage at times and I guess that's to do with the city's insufficient power supply.

While the rooms are comfortable and large. The hotel lacks five star facilities. There is only one restaurant and no 24hour coffee shop. No shopping stores. Buffet foods was very good with lot of variety. It’s a new property and lacks staff but the existing one are very courteous.

Like so many other large hotels, this one thrives on group parties and conferences with all of the attendant crowds and very loud noise. We had to change rooms because we could hear and feel the music and talking from the loud conference/party being held within the hotel itself. For $200 a night (cash only), this is unacceptable. You are better off staying in a $30 guesthouse and that's what we will do next time. Also, this hotel abuts a village where they burn their trash and loud stray dogs bark incessantly, which you will hear in your room very early in the morning. The city center is several kilometers away. It's definitely overpriced for Sri Lanka, too.

This hotel is only 15 months old but its condition suggests more like 5 years of service with absolutely no maintenance being carried out. The materials used in its internal fitout are clearly substandard as is the workmanship. They also appear to have no idea about repairs and maintenance. It is a shame because the staff are very obliging and wanting to do their best with their very limited English. This latter point became particularly frustrating when trying to be understood ordering room service. There are too many failures attached to this hotel to list. Would look elsewhere.

Luxury hotel with the biggest room and wonderful staff”
We arrived to Kandy after a long journey from Sigiriya to big smiles and friendly staff before we had even checked in. Siviraj made our young children feel completely at ease by showing them magic tricks and playing games with them while our bags were taken. The room here is the biggest we've had in Sri Lanka. Incredibly big and very comfortable beds with young children. Food at Brix was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. Shame we didn't take full advantage of the swimming pool. All in all a great stay in a quiet, huge relaxing room.
