Gammelt hotel, meget slidt, støj, koldt”
Hotel bestilt i sidste overblik for messe i Birmingham. Gammelt hotel, små værelser, meget slidt, rimelig senge. Hotellet ligger ca. 2,5 km fra centrum broad street. Ikke et hotel som jeg vil vælge igen. Langsom wifi, dårlig mobil dækning.

Fordel var klart afstanden til centrum. Værelser er ikke isoleret mod lyd men bestemt heller ikke mod kulde. Senge står op af vinduer der er utætte og tydelige spor af svamp

Good location near to city centre. Good bus service. Large hotel - reception areas excellent, bar small friendly staff. Rooms large, clean comfortable. Overall decor tired as with all large premises but this was outweighed by the cost and location.

So reading the reviews on here is thought I may as well put in my 2 pence worth. Ive stayed here on a number of occasions for work and nights out and never once had a problem. The hotel could do with refurbishing but if you’re using this hotel for a nights kip then it’s brill. Word of advice, when booking just always ask for a working heater as I do. Facilities are standard but what else do you expect for a low budget hotel? Also, I’ve never once gotten a room here to notice any marks not staines on my bedsheets and as I’ve said previously, I’ve stayed here on a number of occasions (atleast 8 times) Most of the staff are lovely albeit one or two rather moody receptionist. (An older man and a young women)

Great value for money”
I have stayed at this hotel, when it was under a different name and both times I've had a really pleasant experience. It is about 15 minute walk from New Street Station - but only a 5 minute walk from Digbeth and so if you are in that end of town it is great as you won't need a taxi back on the evening. The parking is free - but it is on road. The staff were really pleasant and for the price of the hotel you really can't complain.

A big improvement ”
Pros: Better staff, rooms and services. Out the way of the hussle and bustle of the city but yet close enough. Better and professional staff that now there responsibilities. Food can be ordered onsite. Bar onsite. Con: Always check the room and the amenities are working, as there are still issues each time I stay which means room changes.

The single room was adequate; bed/linen and towels were good and very clean. A nice power shower clean bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Everything was acceptable apart from windows were disgusting. I have a photo to prove. Couldn't quite believe how dirty they were. A bottle of spray bleach from poundshop and a few minutes is all it would take. Thick, black mould is unacceptable by any standards. On the inside! So apart from that, and a live silverfish darting across bed under the quilt, it was a good night.

Good but nothing special ”
The bed was comfy, the lobby looked good. Shower head holder was broken and the heater wouldn’t throw off much heat, leaving the room fairly cold the majority of the night. The location is good and the price makes up for other things it lacks. I would recommend here if you want something close to the city centre, just don’t have high standards.
