Best Place to Stay after a Show”
We came from Brisbane to see a show at the Star theatre. Our room was superb on an upper level and had a great view of busy Broadbeach (especially at night) with glimpses of the ocean between the high-rise buildings. The Star is in a good location with free parking during our stay. There's a dedicated walkway around to the Convention Centre and onward to the many Broadbeach eateries and the beach. The Star has some good restaurants of its own, too, and we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast at a reasonable price. Our stay has been incredible, we received a bottle of champagne and chocolates as it’s was our wedding anniversary. They gave us loads of discount vouchers to all the restaurants, free drink cards. The restaurants were amazing with the highest customer service. The beds were so soft with a really good pillow top which made sleeping amazing. We were blessed with such an amazing stay that I didn’t want to leave it was just so fantastic. The pool is huge and they have so many sun beds so you always had somewhere to lay out. Great bar by the pool to get food and drinks. We had two hours of free drinks in our package aswell with finger foods. The buffet is huge literally one of the biggest food was great! Perfect hotel to have everything you need at your hands. Best location in the heart of everything. Sea views and across from pacific fair. We didn’t have to go anywhere. Great Stay at The Star”
My husband and I enjoyed a weekend away at the Star last weekend. From check in to check out everything was star quality. The porters even arranged a car park for my husband’s over sized van as it would not fit underneath the car park. We also ate at the new Buffett, Harvest! It was amazing. The quality and choice far exceeded our expectations ..... it was my husband’s bday they organised a little sing along and a nicely decorated piece of cake. All of their own doing. Really lovely service..... It’s been 5 years since we have stayed at the casino and we were really impressed with the refurbished rooms very neutral and calming. We loved the automatic blinds which kept the room cool whilst we were out. We will definitely return to the Star 🌟

Very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fantastic with a large selection of tasty food. Bathroom products were of a high standard and made in Australia. The pool area set in tropical gardens was beautiful. Nineteen At the Star had panoramic views. The Food Quarter had very good meals at very reasonable prices. Garden Kitchen and Bar also had excellent food. The whole complex was immaculate with friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastisk”
We stayed here for our wedding night and beginning of our honeymoon. Didn't get a special suite, just had a standard room but it was still lovely! Everything was beautiful and modern and clean! Room was made up everyday really well and we were not disturbed when we didn't want to be. The buffet dinner and breakfast in the Harvest Restaurant were fantastic! Couldn't fault anything about staying here.

We enjoyed staying at The Star for 9 nights. The Staffs are very accommodating and they make sure that they address our concerns/requests during our stay. Our room attendants, Matthieu and Michelle are very warm and friendly :) Also, kudos to our Filipino workers there, keep up the good work. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wanted to held their conferences in the near future. It's near the mall and beach. So no excuses at all! you can walk around the area safely. Beautiful suitesrea”
We stayed for 1 night as a treat away from the kids for my husband's birthday. We were delightfully surprised to be upgraded to a Club Suite, which was so beautifully designed and furnished. Loved that it had wine fridge and ample supply of pod coffee. The separate lounge room was great space to enjoy/relax before a fun night downstairs at the Casino. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice and will check it out next time we visit again with our kids. Seafood buffet at Harvest was really good, particular the fresh crab and oyster.

I stay in quite a few hotels for work and this was a great experience, clean rooms, great location, beds were amazing did not want to get out of bed in the morning, room service was Amazing and just enjoyed the whole experience. Definitely recommend getting the breakfast included as well, I ate there on both days...

My daughter and I stayed for the night when we attended the Queen Concert at Metricon Stadium, enjoyed our weekend so much we will certainly be staying again when we visit the Gold Coast, it will be our hotel for future stay overs from now on. Great place to stay especially if you like the casino. Which we did. Room was a good size and tastefully decorated. Room service was a good option too. Especially as we arrived after 20:00. Has a pool area which also has a bar and a place to order snacks. Also there are a few other dining options available to satisfy your tastebuds. Pacific Fair shopping centre is a short stroll or drive away should you want to shop. And the beach is another option that isn’t far away. Would highly recommend The Star Grand as a great place to stay 👍🏼👍🏼

Great few days away”
We decided to stay at the Star because we wanted to relax and do nothing. The star grand did not disappoint. From our beautiful spacious room to all the facilities the hotel had to offer, we really didn’t need to leave the hotel, However, if you did want to venture out, you had beautiful Broadbeach across the road , plenty of decent restaurants and bars and the fantastic Pacific Fair shopping centre right next door which is a resort within itself. And if you really wanted to go into Surfers, ( not really recommend) there’s a tram outside your door and a 5 minute ride!

Excellent customer service”
Room was clean and very well kept. We unfortunately had loud neighbours with children and they were screaming at each other in the afternoon and the following morning. The hotel however were kind enough to give us a bottle of bubbles and chocolate for the inconvenience. Excellent customer service and overall fantastic staff. Brilliant location

Christmas at The Star”
We had a lovely Christmas stay at The Star. Rooms were clean and staff were extremely friendly and made up feel very welcome the chocolates and gingerbread's were a lovely touch Christmas morning. We would definitely choose The Star if returning to the Gold Coast.

Very comfortable in good location for us, really enjoyed our stay again..my slight issue is about how agoda presents the room inclusions....i somehow honestly believed this property in my budget range offered free breakfast, unfortunately for me I had room above and below me...!!??

Confused”
On 5 th November I was at The pool area and spa. And fell down 4 stairs bruised my back bottom legs shoulders n head. I was surprised that no one saw me on security cameras I was on the floor for a few minutes when a gentleman helped me up and noticed something was wrong. I could not move The stairs had no non slip rubbers on them thus making me fall to the bottom of the concrete. I sat there in shock Very painfull I’m just surprised no one saw thinking there would be security cameras everywhere. Thanks

Pure Luxury on a family budget”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay -the room was immaculately clean and tidy. We even had a bottle of champagne left for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary - it was those little touches that made it so special. Breakfast was amazing too!

Always exceptional customer service”
Spent the night for my husband’s birthday and after checking in, one of the hotel staff knocked in our room and gave my husband a bottle of wine, some chocolates and a greeting card. My husband is so happy and we really appreciated the gesture. This is our third time staying in The Star Grand Hotel and it’s always been a pleasant stay for us. Will surely come back again.

Great mid week getaway ”
Good midweek rates for a few nights, had everything I needed plus more, no issues with cleanliness or service. Only one draw back was no bible to read over after a night of gambling. All jokes aside was a great stay.

First time wonders !!”
This was my first stay at the star and it was quite amazing. I was superbly impressed with the quality of the hotel and the facilities were sublime. The pool area was exceptional and the location was second to none. I was going to see the afl at Metricon stadium and it was so easy to get to from there. Would highly recommend the star to family and friends

21st wedding anniversary ”
Check in was fast and efficient. We had a corner king room. I asked for a room on a high floor but only ended up on the six. Room was clean. Room service breakfast was nice. Check out was fast and easy.
