Best stay in Dungun!”
Near to my favourite food stall and other local delicacies. The breakfast provided was okay. We are in a group of 3. I booked a standard premium room & added an extra bed with different charges. The extra bed given was okay but the mattress was very very thin. I could feel the steel bed base. Luckily, they provided extra pillows, so that I can cover the whole bed for my extra comfort. I hope the management would consider to upgrade the facility regarding this matter. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and I will definitely come back at Ulek Beach Resort.

Dear Guest, Thank you for the comments. About that issues, next time ask the staff to add extra mattress (without charges). Normally we give an extra mattress. Perhaps the new housekeeping staff didn’t do as a new practices.
Best place to stay at Dungun”
The place is nice , delicious food at the cafe and even at the nearby stalls..lots of choices . The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

Great stay and relaxing”
Booked premium twin room. There’s jacuzzi in the bathroom. It was perfect to relax in the jacuzzi after a long hours journey. Beach is just in front the hotel. Bed and pillow was soft and comfy. Breakfast spread was ok but not so many choices. Several lights in the room was break down. Perhaps hotel staff should regularly check all the facilities in the room. Overall was superb.

people who going to come to this resort during the public holiday or peak time, better brace yourselves with some delay due to understaffed issues. other than that, the room is great. there is a Jacuzzi in our room, the bed is comfy. no issue here.

The chalet has a nice swimming pool.. as there was not many people during our stay, we have the pool all to ourselves.. the surrounding was nice and peaceful too.. we really love the overall chalet concept .. will definitely come and stay here again..

This is our 5th or 6th time here. Nothing much to complain. Comfortable room, friendly and responsive staff. The jacuzzi is a plus for us after the long journey from the south. Overall very recommended.

1. Some electrical problem in the room assigned but the staff quickly find a replacement room. 2. Strategically located for those on vacation, u can have your meals facing the sea & many tasteful eateries nearby.

Chalet type rooms”
We stayed in two rooms. Overall rooms were clean, but I did not really like the jacuzzi. It was the sunken type, there were no hand rails to hold on to as you lower yourself into it for a shower which is also located in the jacuzzi. It was a good 1 foot drop below the flooring of the bathroom. Dangerous. Climbing out fo that requires strong knees. My 85 year old mum would surely not be able to do that!! We also had no hot water. Beside the jacuzzi is the wooden louvered window which I also did not like as it did not close well. Although our unit was at the very end and there was just the fencing area of the resort, I did not feel secure as anyone from outside could look up through the small gaps in the louvers!!

Next time you like to check in, please ask for special room for elderly guest and we do apologise for your inconvenience during your stay. For the Jacuzzi, we’re always mention that our special feature is sunken Jacuzzi and bath tub.
