Great place to rest and relax from big city or packed beach resorts. ”

The place is very deep in Manolo Fortich area. Travel is far but well worth the trip. Pine trees and beatiful sunsets await. The food was ok. The room was big and room service was pretty good. Its located next to the Adventure Park which is a fun plasce to spend a whole day. During our stay we had sun rain fog and chilly mornings. But nothing ever made this little vacation getaway bad at all. Plan to visit area again soon. Hoprfully staying here again.

Nice room and great location!”

Few steps away from zipline activities and it's like you're in Baguio.

I have not considered any other hotels because Pinegrove Lodge Mountain Resort is just a few steps away from the Zipline activities. This was very important to me that time because we were doing 3D/2N trip to CDO, Bukidnon and Camiguin! Upon arrival at CDO Lumbia Airport last January 13 (early morning), we had our rafting activity then right after that, traveled all the way to Bukidnon for the zipline activities. Next morning after that day, head to Camiguin. Thus, staying at Pinegrove was my only choice to save time and still have some rest. Food is okay but a bit pricey. Very nice room, and I love the interior design at the lobby. Staff are accommodating and we were not charged for the two additional pax.

Great place , great staff , great food =great vacation”

We left my daughter's tablet in the room and Johanna a staff in Pinegrove called us and informed about the tablet. She immediately arranged to send it out to their cdo office so we can pick it up from there. This is the kind of service you rarely find in some hotels. They dont wait for the guest to look for their lost or left items but they will immediately contact you and do something so they can return it to you. it was our 2nd time vacation stay in Pinegrove and we will definitely be coming back whenever we visit again Phils . Pinegrove is so lucky to have a good staff like Johanna and the housekeeping staff who found our daughter's tab. Kudos to you guys! With a great place, sumptous food and exemplary service of the staff then you'll have a great vacation for sure!

Idyllic and charming hotel ”

Relaxing atmosphere and environment, communion with nature as it is surrounded by mountains

my friends and i had a great time at pinegrove lodge mounttain resort. aside from the peaceful ambience of the hotel, we had fun rides with the ziplines, including the longest in asia! the hotel is surrounded with slopes planted with pine trees, and the mountains in its background are just magnificent. food is also great in its cozy restaurant. the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our requests.

Nice Lodge to go Ziplining”

reasonable rates

if you want to maximize your experience of the dahilayan zip zone and forest park its a good idea to stay at this hotel. the restaurant has a reasonably priced menu. no complaints regarding the room, beds, toilet or shower. if you are a smoker, you would feel very constrained as smoking is not allowed anywhere in the hotel or park premises as a precaution against forest fire so you have to go to the designated smoking area out by the roadside.

Quaint Hotel”

Nestled amid a forest

Pinegrove is a no frills hotel that delivers in terms of comfort and satisfaction. It is like arriving at an oasis after travelling for almost 2 hours from Cagayan de Oro City through dirt and gravel roads. The choices for the complimentary ala carte breakfast was okay. Checking in and out was problem free and efficient. Will definitely return to this hotel when i get the urge to go ziplining and white water rafting again.

Clean, Friendly Staff, Great Activiteis

We go to this place for the zip lines, luge, and the many other fun activities Dahilayan has to offer. It is always fully booked specially in peak season so be sure to plan well ahead and book early. Our other relatives stayed at the Saddle Ridge Camp nearby and it wasnt as nice. Internet is quite slow so i mostly had to rely on my Huawei pocket wifi with booster antenna, good thing there is a Globe Cellsite on the premises. The overall ambiance of the place is nice. An advantage of being a guest here is you get 20% off the zipline rates. You are also one of the first in line in the morning when the zips start at 8:30am. The day-trippers usually start arriving around 10am.

Internet connection is very important to the guest help connect while on vacation. Hotel must provide wifi in every room (facilities). We suggest that Dahilayan will have a swimming pool another alternative to those who don't want to avail for the rides.

Good Food and Clean Hotel”

Its our second time in staying in this hotel. The rooms are good for 3pax. We loved the food, the veranda and the cleanliness of the hotel. I also liked the fireplace inside the hotel, it keeps you warm in the cold night of Bukidnon. When staying in this area you wouldnt need the aircon during the night. The hotel is best for relaxation. Pls do reserve ahead as they are normally fully booked especially during weekends.

Excellent Adventure”

fun, games, restful nights

Excellent Stay! My family members can only wish to stay much longer. The accommodation we booked and were assigned to was in the best form. Fresh crisp linens, excellent bed, nice big ensuite, coffee and tea facility, television, air-conditioning and ample switch boards to use for electrical gadgets. I don't like restaurants running out of things in the menu especially if you're in the middle of somewhere. But hopefully their dining/restaurant manager will plan ahead to avoid this. Even then, it was still worth the bus ride from Cagayan de Oro through the long and winding road. Hopefully they will upgrade their road couch fleet services to a modern, more comfortable one for a happier though bumpy ride from Cagayan De Oro. For us, the holiday begun the moment we boarded the bus and first impression lasts. I think by doing so, it will encourage more international travellers to visit the area without having to organise private vehicles themselves just for a day's ride. Transport services should be adequately emphasized in their website and more transport option/packages will hopefully be available in the near future. DVD music played on board the bus would have been good. Not everyone is keen to wear earphones. This is such an excellent place for fun and adventure and relaxation. Hopefully they will provide adequate information in their website to help planning a little bit more easier especially if you haven't been to the place yourself or know a family member who have been there. The services provided in the adventure areas were excellent but there is always room for improvement. Thank you.

Pleasant stay overall”

We stayed in a delux room for three nights. The lodge/hotel could be amazing with a few improvements. The main plus factor is the location, right in the adventure park. The room was clean, shower good enough. Areas to improve: The sheets on spare bed in our room were stained, which we only noticed on second day due to fact that the lighting in the room is really dim. The rooms and area in the basement section were also a bit damp smelling. Food and service could be a bit better. Food was hit and miss, but really there isn’t any other option to eat. Shame as we never looked forward to eating it was more about fuel for the body than enjoying food. Also service was slow. Always had to flag down waiter to take our order, clean the table, take away empty plates, get the bill etc. But overall it was an enjoyable stay. With improvements suggested above plus addition of some facilities such as spa/massage it would be a really great place

Nice cozy rooms , affordable food and beautiful surroundings

This is my second time to stay in this hotel . I really enjoyed their rooms located in the basement with private balconies where you can see panoramic view of endless pine trees and forest park. Inspire of cool weather rooms are equipped with air conditioner and ceiling fan.the lobby of their hotel is very homey and the food in the restaurant is very affordable.

Relaxing family fun”

Location, cozy and clean

There were 9 of us including 2 children who stayed in this hotel overnight during the Easter Break. We decided to stay overnight so we didn't feel rushed going through the zipline and other rides and also wanted to get a good nights rest in between the land trip to/from CDO. Altogether we booked our rooms more than a month in advance and occupied two of their family rooms which fit 6 people in single beds. Staff were very nice to upgrade us to this arrangement rather than what we had originally booked, being 2x standard rooms. We would have had to cramp each other otherwise. Everything was pleasant and smooth during our stay. I just want to point out though that other than providing us with the very kind gesture of upgrading our big group, the staff performed poorly during our stay. The lacked the common Filipino hospitality of always serving with a smile and being friendly. Whenever I had to approach front desk to ask for directions, information etc. I would be answered in a snobbish way. On our way out after check out nobody saw us out to say 'thank you' the least instead the front desk manager (I noticed really subtly) was only concerned about making sure we returned our keycards which we had paid a bond for anyway! I think this hotel needs to get an uplift in staff performance and need to be reminded of staff performance standards among all other hotels around the Philippines. I have been traveling in and out of hotels in the Philippines for over 4 years now and I was shocked this hotel had poor performing staff. It is usually innate in Filipinos to be polite and courteous proactively. I would have given this hotel a 10 rating otherwise. Wouldn't mind staying there again but wouldn't expect anything in terms of staff performance at all!

Great staff, great location nice and safe, would definitely stay there again. ”

Pros: awesome friendly staff. Great location in the mountains a lot cooler and less hectic than the city. Lots to do in forest adventure park. Great food in the restaurant. Very safe with friendly tourist police hanging around. Cons: very pricey compared to other accommodation in the Philippines. Not much facilities for a long stay. We were there for 3 weeks had no laundry had to wash clothes by hand. Only really cater for short weekend stays. The rides in the adventure park are also really pricey. Also rains a lot. We were there in may and in 3 weeks we had probably 3 days of no rain.
