Love the bed. It was big and the pillowa were soft. Had a comfortable stay. Location is great. Walking distance to a lot of scenic spots. Very near gion subway station. You can also walk to hakata, nakasu kawabata area and tenjin area. Will definitely stay here again when I go back to fukuoka

Good location, close to Gion station but also walkable to Hakata, Canal City, Anpanman Museum. A lot of convenience stores around Deluxe room is spacious enough (Sleeping with my 4yrs old kid, then another baby cot next to our bed)

Great hotel chain in Japan”
As expected of this hotel chain, it didn't disappoint us. Located near the Gion subway station, or you could walk a little further (about 10 min) to reach the main Hakata Station. Plenty of convenient store nearby. Breakfast option was one of the cheapest I've encountered in Japan. Starting from Y500 for a decent breakfast set.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hakata Gion is near Gion station. Easy to go Tenjin station for shopping and easy to go airport. Comfortable Bed and good space Bath room. Guest must insert room card before use lift to room. There are car park behide hotel and good support staffs.

Room is spacious and especially love the massage chair in the room! It is a bonus to us after an tired day! Location is good, just 2 mins out from Gion subway Station. Staff are friendly and very attentive and can speak little English. Recommended!

Conveniently located just next to Gion Station. 15mins walk to Hakata Station with sheltered underground walkway via Gion Station entrance next to the hotel. Many amenities nearby. Bus stop right in front of the hotel. Canal City Hakata Mall and Kawabata Shopping Arcade were about 10mins walk from the hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious with humidifier. Only thing was the bath towels had a musky unpleasant smell. Otherwise, an enjoyable stay.

Location near to Canal City. Twin beds room is big compared to others hotel in Japan. Price is reasonable. Overall still acceptable and recommended for short stay and catch next day flight. Asked hotel to call a taxi. Taxi cost about ¥1400 to Fukuoka international airport.

Size of room, location and staff were excellent The breakfast was easily the worst we experienced in Japan. The kitchen staff and waiting staff were over-worked because there were too few of them. It was hard to get utensils. The servery dishes were not replenished very often

I would like to thank the hotel staff as they have been very helpful in everything from car parking, room request and booking the taxis for our group to the airport. The hotel is very clean and the room makeup is very nicely done every day. As for the location, I see that there were other hotels with better locations near Canal City. Car parking is expensive and there is no smoking room in the hotel.

We found the hotel very easily after a long flight and later were pleased it was also a short taxi ride from the international ferry terminal so a trip to South Korea was a breeze. Near some great ramen bars in the evening. Rather bland without much character but it provided a very comfortable stay. Good wifi signal. Breakfast was very monotonous and could be improved for western guests.
