Near-center hotel at a quite place”
I had really good time at Dam San Hotel. The room was big and clean, and the staff were quite helpful. Breakfast buffet was quite delicious. The hotel was next to lovely cafes. Buon Ma Thuot is an interesting place for sightseeing and eating. Nearby waterfalls (e.g. Dray-nu, Dray-sap...) and the ethic village (Don village, Lak village) are must-see in the area. The weather was great, feeling like 4 seasons in just one day. If you have time, a visit to coffee villages will be quite a treat.

Clean hotel with excellent breakfast”
i found the dam san hotel to be a very clean hotel with an excellent breakfast. the staff was friendly and very helpful. most of the credit goes to the owner (?) a very nice lady who speaks very good english. she has trained her staff well. the hotel location is close to the center of town and there is a tour office downstairs. there is a sauna and jacuzzi, but they are owned by a lady who rents the space from the hotel and they charge separate from the hotel. be sure to be ask what the charges are before using the services. there is also a pool and tennis court.

Relaxing Stay”
The Dam San Hotel is a good value for the money. I had a very relaxing stay at this hotel, which has good facilities, including Satellite tv with plenty of English language stations and a very clean swimming pool. The hotel is located very close to the city center, which is convenient for tourists. The food was average, and they overcharged for room service. Other than that, I really liked this hotel and would recommend it for someone stopping by in BMT for a few days.

Nice hotel with good size rooms”
The Dam San Hotel is a nice hotel but is located a little bit away from the city centre, however taxis are available at the front of the hotel if you are not keen to walk. The hotel restaurant puts on a good breakfast and the lunch/dinner menu is in English (one of the very few in town). We found the reception and security staff to be very friendly, however the restaurant staff gave us the impression they didn't really want to be there. We booked 2 tours and a transfer to Nha Trang with Dam San Tours (at the bottom of the hotel)and both the driver and guide were very friendly and helpful. This hotel does appear to cater more for the business/conference group traveller however we were still well looked after and enjoyed our stay.

Good stay”
I had two good days staying at Dam San Hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. It also has a beautiful garden with swimming pool. Breakfast is ok, although it would be better if they serve a couple of new dishes every morning. The only not-so-good thing is that I booked two rooms one week advance and they should have arranged two rooms near each other.

great pool & restaurant”
I had a very pleasant 2-night stay at Dam San. The pool was the cleanest I've ever seen, with clear water that did not make my skin itchy or irritated. Their big breakfast had a good variety of both local & Western dishes, and the restaurant had clean, affordable food all day. I enjoyed my stay at Dam San and will definitely return.

Lovely and private hotel”
lovely vacation and accommodation is reasonable. location is near the centre of city. guard is helpful in renting motorbike. it is easy to go to buon don and other by motorbike with well constructed roads. nice elephant rides and hanging bridges. food is ok, same as in quang nam and da nang.

Good value for money”
consider the price, the hotel actually exceeds our expectation. the room is clean. bathroom is a bit old but hot water runs well so it's fine for us. wifi is free, though connection is not very smooth. alternatively, there is a computer with internet connection near the reception. the breakfast buffet is ok, though i'd prefer a bit more fruit variety (they only offer banana and pineapple) but it's not a big deal. location is good, it's only 15-20 minutes walking distance to city center, and close by to many cafeterias. in fact, we really liked the small cafeteria right opposite the hotel, but i forgot the name.

Friendly people, nice clean hotel.”
Nice room with a balcony, enjoyed the motorbike tour offered by the hotel. Located a little bit out of the center of town, but easily walkable. Decent wi-fi. Very quiet. Hotel itself is very nice looking and peaceful. I would be very pleased to stay there again.

A great experience”
This hotel has a great retro feel to it. It is located near the center where many good local eateries are. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the central market. The wooden temple is four blocks from there. There's no elevator and you get to have the real key, not the card key that you usually get in most hotels. My room faced the tennis court and the pool. It's very peaceful, until dust when the karaoke singing started. Fortunately, it stopped around 10. Staff was super polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with many local items. The best was that the guests were mostly locals and no large tour groups.

Good- A nice hotel to stay”
I spent 2 nights in the hotel with no complaint related to the room, staff. The receptionist was nice, the view was good from the swimming pool. Even the hotel near the center, but its far away from the crowed. Really good! Not really liked the toilet, so small. Just a little bit uncomfortable that 2 nights I saw the security guys and receptionist drunk at the reception area. And, the hotel didn't manage the service like moto for rent/ bicycle for rent, they assigned this kind of service to security group. That's not good due to the price was not be controlled by the hotel. Hope to get improvement next time i come to hotel.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile. The staff is so nice and helful. The hotel is not in the center of the city but it is not so far to reach the center. There is swimming pool however there is no guard to look after the guess. I mean for the safety of the guess, the hotel should have staff to take care guess when they are playing at the swimming pool.

Spacious but a bit old, and noisy ”
we booked 2 rooms for four people but we did not realized that dam san has the two room options: standard room for 1 pax and for 2 pax at about usd 2 difference. it was too late to change the booking upon arrival so we had to pay extra usd 5/pax. the staff said many people was confused by this option before, so be carefull. the toilet is a bit old.we stayed on the first floor, and there was a group of man talking loudly in the lobby area for along time from 10pm to pass 11pm. it was too loud that i had to call the receiption.the receptionist was right there next the those men and he only asked the guests to lower the voice after my call.

hotel is nice and peaceful. it is not in the center of city but it is not so far to reach the center if you want. the staff is very helpful. there is swiming pool. however, there is no one to look after the pool when the guess swim, especially when the kids are swiming.

Very very nice two star hotel”
I would reccomend this this two hotel to any of my friends. The staff was friendly and helpful. Remember if you do book the very low end you may not get a room with a window then again what would you expect. But remember all the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is quite good.

Good location with very big room”
This is my first time at this hotel and I am very happy with everything at this hotel. Reception staff are nice and can communicate in English very well. Room that I stay are very big with king size bed and also have wooden coffee table and two chairs in the room. Luckily, there are only two floors at this hotel because there is no elevator! Thinking positive, it is good exercise for me. Breakfast is above average. There are variety of foods to choose from local foods to standard type of breakfast foods.

a hidden gem”
WE picked this hotel because my partner wanted a pool. The pool is beautiful, in a lush setting, but it is a hike to get to it, hotel is on a hillside with the pool about 210 steps down. It is very clean and inviting, but not heated and with the cool nights, the water is brisk. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the lack of an elevator is a surprise. We were greeted to a very good buffet breakfast with a large number of choices and excellent coffee. It is out of the way, so not convenient for walking but very quiet at night!
