Exceptional”
Room ok . One of lights did not work but there was plenty of other lights. Room warm. Staff from cleaning to reception were great and were so helpful. Weve booked again as a stayover next year.

Great budget hotel”
Really great hotel with good facilities on the services site - lovely views even in the standard room and good room for the money. Only downside is old shower with not much power. Definitely would stay again.

Ok”
Staff friendly and helpful, general building was clean and tidy. Our room was a little run down, a little grubby -bathroom had a bit of a stale smell when we arrived -like it had been shut up damp. Window sill and net curtain in main room covered in dead flies, large piece of edge of desk damaged and rough (and was also at head hight for our little one so had to watch her extra closely around there), could only make one chanel on TV work, however, bedding and towels were lovely and clean, and smelt fresh, beds pretty comfy and room was lovely and quiet, despite being on a motorway service station. Overall did the job

Good stopover!”
Nice place to stop at on a long journey and friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable but I found it very noisy so would recommend earplugs!

Decent, business travel stop over”
The accommodation is basic, clean and tidy no frills nor does it pretend to be what it’s not. The bed was comfortable and the staff helpful.

Ideal hotel after a long journey”
Very clean rooms, soft fluffy towels, the staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of grass areas outside to exercise the dogs. I have stayed at Abington many times.

One Stop Facility”
A standard facility close to major routes. Helpful staff. Good eatery nearby. Expensive in comparison to its rivals

Great value comfortable stop”
Stayed here overnight on our way to Oban. The room was clean and comfortable with refurbished bathroom. Big thick towels were a bonus. Reception staff very helpful. Food in service station was usual standard so we drove to a little pub in Crawfordjohn where the food was great.

Just what we needed”
We were breaking what would have been an extremely long journey, Suffolk to Isle of Skye, here. Exactly what we needed, somewhere to lay our heads that was cheap, comfortable, practical for location and allowed dogs. What we got was pleasant friendly helpful staff, a comfortable bed and a great location. We took a ride not too far to find we were in a fabulous location; highest village, lovely valleys, incredible vistas. Very easily recommend to you all.

Very disapointing, room and bathroom very run down and needs urgent upgrading”
Very disappointing, I have stayed here many times with absolutely no problems, but this stay was sub-standard. On arrival I was given a room on the first floor. I am disabled and had specified on the booking, that I needed a room either on the ground floor or near lift and close to the front entrance. This was changed by the excellent reception staff, with no hesitations, but still had a long walk to the entrance. This stay I found the room to be very run down, there were several dark stains on the desk chair, no power points near the bed, so had to use an extension cable across the floor for my breathing machine. There was mould on the shower tiles and round the bath. The shower thermostat was broken and some of the shower head jets were blocked. The towel rail Safety Electrical Pat Testing Certificate had expired over a year ago and was very rusty. In all a very run-down room in dire need of upgrading. On the plus side, lots of towels, pillows and coffee.
