Great value ”

Booked this pet friendly hotel as a stop over to break up a long journey. It’s fair to say the high volume of travellers using the hotel has taken its toll in respect of the appearance of being well used. That said the room was as expected, basic, functional but excellent value for what we needed, i.e, a clean comfortable room for a few hours sleep and recharge. The important thing is the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and towels were new looking. Request a lake view room to minimised the unavoidable noise of a busy service area hotel. It’s location is very handy as minutes away from the motorway with service area facilities. There is a great dog walk and picnic area around the lake at the back of the hotel. The highlight was the helpfulness, professionalism and excellent customer service displayed by Helen on reception. She provided all sorts of helpful information and quickly resolved a double booked room issue (our fault not the hotels).

Handy Stop-off”

The lady on reception when we arrived was very friendly and helpful, as well as all the ladies we spoke to in the morning on departure. The room was very tidy, well-equipped and had a great view of the lake from the balcony. All in all, a great stop off for the night we stayed. Woukd definitely stay again.
