als mieter der suite hat man immerhin den ganzen 10. stock für sich und einen schönen ausblick über den hafen klaipedas. auch sind die räumlichkeiten hinsichtlich ihrer größe in ordnung. leider ist das mobiliar bereits teils etwas unansehnlich, insbesondere im bad war das waschbecken gesprungen, beim jacuzzi funktionierten die seitlichen düsen nicht. im übrigen ist in der wanne gerade einmal platz für 2 personen und nicht etwa für bis zu sechs, wie im hotelprospekt beworben. im bad fehlen ablagen und handtuch- und bademantelhaken. badezusätze und duschgel war sehr ausreichend vorhanden. leider jedoch funktionierte auch die abluft im bad nicht, was das badevergnügen zu einer nebligen angelegenheit machte. die matratzen waren super, die betten hatten sehr ansehnliche maße. leider war die konnektivität des drahtlosen internets schlecht. insgesamt wirkt die mit echten ölgemälden ausgestattete suite kalt und ungemütlich. das hotel amberton liegt in einem center mit gastronomie und entertainmet - auch ein strip club ist vorhanden, an dem wir jeden morgen zum frühtück vorbei mussten - nicht unbedingt ein traum für einen familienurlaub! das restaurant livonia, in dem auch das frühstück serviert wurde, hat eine miserable küche. hier habe ich mein essen sogar zurückgehen lassen und lieber verzichtet. auch das frühstück ist leider hinsichtlich der qualität und der auswahl völlig unzureichend. empfehlen kann ich das filetsteak im restaurant xii.

Good value for money + great lcation”

The hotel Amberton is in great location. Better choose slightly more expensive rooms with a sea view. During pandemic they have breakfast to rooms with are really big and tasty. In general - very good value for money.

In Klaipeda, there is only one skyscraper. u can find easily.

Great views and location”

Good location, rooms bit dated, but better in newer complex (ask for a room in new building). Usually not a big difference between simple rooms and rooms with a view to the sea. Recommend to take those. Tasty breakfast and always many things to chose from. Good staff.

Old and tiny room, not 4 stars”

It was first time I stayed in Klaipeda and heard many positive feedback about Amberton. Unfortunately, the room was old, very tiny, beds and futniture old, it felt more like 2-3 star guesthouse. Maybe because I got my room assigned in old Soviet-era tower (not the building in the photo). I felt dissapointed, i paid 150€ for two nights but i would not stay there again. Location is central, breakfast was very good, but I would choose a better class hotel next time.

Amazing view from the 16th floor”

The view was amazing. Everything was clean. I love the room design. But one negative thing is ventilation. It was really hard for me to fall asleep because of the wind sound that comes from ventilation.

Good enough”

You're paying for location and convenience, this is probably safest and the most central part of Klaipeda, so that's what you're paying for. Old part of hotel is very "Soviet style" which can be good or bad depending on your taste and interests.

Large depressive hotel”

After being in the Amberton Hotel in Vilnius I was confident in booking for 8 nights the Amberton in Klaipeda. The outside of the hotel looks great, the inside of the hotel is a different story. A bit poor looking reception tried to show me the way to another building for the room. Orange lines on the floor are meant to support guest to the unclear maze of the hotel. After some stars up and down I got lost in finding the way and needed to call the reception for help, very unclear and it felt uncomfortable. My room (above standard class) was big, but empty. A depressive room missing any colors, old fashion bathroom just below the standard. The swimming pool and sauna doesn’t belong to the hotel itself, it is operated by another firm inside the complex that charge per hour. The breakfast was poor, instant coffee, dry bread, orange juice that had nothing to do with juice. Just all too cheap. After 2 night I cancelled the rest of the night and stay in another hotel, a decision I certainly haven’t regret.

Great value for money”

Very good hotel overall. Not my first time there and I will stay again , but don't go the 21st floor restaurant as they are incredibly slow there. After 45min wait for a salad I gave up and left.

Nice hotel in the top location”

Its good hotel, just poor breakfast and check out takes quite long time as only one receptionist worked on it.

Economy rooms nothing to do with 4*”

Don't get too excited paying 40eur for 4star economy class room. It is far from 4star and it shouldn't be showed as discounted, because it is exactly what it should cost. You get what you pay for, and not even a bit more. Although the room is clean and sheets are new. Problem with shower- it won't collect water properly and you have to stand in a deep puddle while taking a shower. Both bathroom and lobby takes you back to the soviet era, as they still have same designs and aren't renovated. Plus the lobby wasn't vacuum cleaned at the time of our stay. Breakfast is in the renovated side of the hotel. Facilities are so-so, but the food is for those who would love to learn about soviet era standards: the cheapest products, poor selection, simple recipes. It is pretty entertaining for sociocultural anthropologists.

Quite good. hotel has 2 parts-renovated and older. For less price you will be in older not renovated rooms.

enjoyed staying in this hotel. clean, comfortable room. staff pleasant and helpful. excellent breakfast. not within walking distance of bus station but short walk to city centre. a casino in the hotel may be an attraction from some but if you stay over a weekend and in the older part of the hotel you may hear some noise from people coming and going to it.

Nice hotel with great sea view, big rooms , but not so clean carpets, a little unorganized breakfast and not so much to choose from. Very central location. Close to everything , you can walk no need for taxi.

Great location but rooms not of 4star standard”

this hotel has recently built on a new tower block. all photos and descriptions are of the new building which looks lovely. we, however, were staying in the old building which is not of 4 star standard. our room was clean and comfortable. we had to go to the new building for breakfast. breakfast was a buffet style.

Good hotel for this price”

this hotel has two wings, the old one and the new one. so if you buy standard room you could get either old or new. we were lucky - we were placed in new building. there was a good modern style room with a sea view. the breakfast was included and it's was pretty good for this pay. on the top of the new wing there is a restaurant vivalavita. it has a good view on the klaipeda's port.
