Perfect Hotel”
Candeo Hotel at Ueno was the best. Checking in went smooth. Room cleaning was perfect. Very clean room. It was small room for twin bed but it was enough for us. Internet was fast. Bed was comfy. Toilet was amazing. I would definitely go back here and highly recommended. Although we did not eat there, there are tons of restaurants for breakfast nearby. Easy walk to Ueno Park, Nippori Station, Ueno Park. There were 2 7-11 nearby too and a supermarket below the hotel.

Awesome trip”
Hotel is clean. Very accessible to JR station. Elevators accessible too. So no need worry for those with luggages. Best part is beneath the hotel, theres a supermarket selling cheap stuffs. HALAL food available too. Best part is u can do your laundry too.

Exzellent”
Is in nice and convenient location, just walking distance can get to Uguisudani Station and but is with short staircase climbing up. Perfect for us to have a nice shop beside the hotel and get nice and cheap ingrediance as a gift, much cheaper than normal super market. And many nice restaurant surrounding the hotel too. Happy with our stay, and we are bringing with two young kids 4&8 years old. Two single bed just nice to combine together.

Great Location”
It was the perfect location from the train (which we used daily and even several times a day), lots of food places and the Tokyo Museum was just 10 min walk away. The breakfast buffet was great and not boring at all. Though my partner will say that the croissants were the best, haha. Overall, we had a great experience.

Great hotel experience!”
My family and I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Walking distance to Uguisudani Station and Ueno Park/Zoo. Has a lot of combinis and Ramen shops around the hotel. The coin laundry, luggage storage, and grocery store in the ground floor of the hotel is a big plus. Room is kept clean during our stay and the frontdesk staff are nice even if they can't speak English fluently. Will definitely book in this hotel again.

PROS - Location is very good, close to Uguisudani train station, only some walking steps... and some short walks to Ueno Park which it's very nice to chill and roam around. - Room is clean, having all amenities you want. - Bathroom is in a good size with tub which you might find a smaller tub at other hotels in Japan, but here is in a good size. CONS - Check-in was smooth&quick but however, they kept asking about my friend to be coming, since I booked for 2 people and told them my friend would join me later (but he finally couldn't make it), so the front staff kept asking "where's your friend?" all the time I had conversation with. I know they tried to care but sometimes it's too annoying. - Breakfast was adequate, almost the same choices every day, mostly traditional japanese breakfast styles, only a few for western (bread,yokurt,salad). Would be nicer if they add more western food to be selective. Breakfast time is during 7:00-09:30. - Make-up room would be until 13:00 only.

Great Location and Value for Money”
The place is near train station and have several establishments nearby. Clean room and staff are very accommodating. The buffet breakfast is good as well.

Clean hotel, hotel staff are very friendly”
A little far from station. But the hotel is clean, comfortable. Staff are very friendly. Facilities inside room is enough. You can walk to Ueno Koen or travel many other place around 3 km from hotel. Big store under the lobby. Recommend to check-in here in Tokyo

Easy to engage”
This is my first time of stayed in Candeo. It comfort to travel in popular destination and the hotel also have a supermarket which you can buy a cheap goods. This hotel room is small for my family ,but it value to stay in friendliness environment. Next time if I were traveling I would stay there.

Nice place for rest (and rest only)”
This hotel is quite a nice place. Near the train station as well. The lobby is on the 2nd floor and staffs are usually friendly. There are some toiletries that are available for free at the lobby area. I must say that they do provide you with good ones. The rooms are comfortable enough and also the toilets are clean. They provided me with 3 types of cleansing liquids - shampoo, conditioner and body wash. No one is simply allowed in after 12am. They have an intercom to allow guest to come in after a few vocal verification. The place is generally safe and had a few eateries too. My favorite is the one at the corner which operates 24 hours - cheap and most importantly, GOOD and friendly. I would stay there again.

Really good budget hotel”
The hotel is really, really clean. Rooms are quite small but I guess that's the Japanese standard. The staff doesn't speak English well but it's enough to help you with all the request you might have. The food is tasty.

Must Stay”
The hotel located near to JR Uguisudani station, 10mins walk from Ueon park & 25mins walk from Asakusa. We walk all the way to Asakusa & Tokyo Skytree since the JR train do not have direct access to Asakusa even it's just 25mins walks away. Alternatively, you can take bus across the road in front of hotel to reach Asakusa. There is grocery shop at the ground floor which offering great price for food & drinks. A take away shop named Sasago Negishi (海鲜丼) is located near to hotel which offering fresh sushi and don with cheap price.

Cleanliness and location Good”
I gave excellent for the housekeeping part. Eventhough, we already put a sign that we do not need room service, yet, they still pack a clean plastic bag with toothbrush in front of our room. And few times we met the housekeeping lady, they are really well trained and mannered. I rate them excellent. Continue the service to provide the best for the housekeeping. For Location wise, good. Its about 6mins walk to Uguisudani train station. Downstairs of the hotel, exactly a groceries shop where you can get good price. Also surrounded with many convenient stores like Family Mart, 7-11, Dontour cafe plus good food with reasonable price. Highly recommended to all Candeo Hotel stay.

Only downside was that the rooms were tiny! we had a twin room but the room was so small the beds were literally touching one another, so it wasnt really a twin room, more like a room with 1 double bed (made of two twin beds)

Good hotel, close to the railway station”
We booked room with child at 4 year old. We had to pay more for child's breakfast but they were flexible to transfer 2 breakfast vouchers to our child. Because we would have the last day leaving very early, we cannot use adult breakfast vouchers then they transferred it to our child, then I just had to buy 2 more children's breakfast vouchers at ~1000Y!
