Close to JR and Keikyu stations. Top choice for solo travellers who need an overnight stay and then head to Haneda Airport. The big bath room and the sauna have been the highlights and I enjoyed the stay. Thanks.

A bit noisy with footsteps, cleaning, etc. Amenities all provided, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, combs, hair dryer etc. If you are too early. You have to rent locker to store your bag. 400 yen.

Great capsule hotel”

I have stayed at many capsule hotels in Tokyo and this hotel is great. It is more relaxed than most and it is not as strict with checking in and out. Friendly staff, good facilities and right next to the Kamata station, perfect !

Great for a short stay. Located one street south”

Everything was fine for a 8 hour stay between flights. Be advised the Inn is located one street south of what is shown on the map here. I did a search using google maps on street view and found it before my trip so getting there was easy. Two similarly named metro stations nearby: Keikyu-Kamata Station (to the east) has a train that goes to the airport. Kamata Station (to the west) has no train service to the airport but rather an airport shuttle bus stop. First thing to do when you get to the Inn is put your shoes in a shoe locker, put on a pair of provided slippers and bring the locker key up to the front desk and they will check you in. Trade your shoe locker key for you room key.

Good capsule hotel close to Haneda”

Good pick for a one-nighter if your plane arrives late at Haneda. My plane landed at 10:30pm and I was able to catch the shuttle bus (280 yen) to Kamata Station stop - from which the Capsule Hotel is only across the road - with time to spare. The hotel is clean and comfortable with all the facilities you'd expect from a Capsule Hotel and with less rules to trip up foreigners than some of the others. The staff simply hands you the keys and tells you little else, but it turns out that much of the facilities on the 2nd floor (sauna, shared bath, restaurant, rest area) are free for use. The restaurant opens till late and I was able to have a hot meal at midnight. Wifi works well in the rest areas and also in my capsule, and the capsule comes with a single power socket. A drawback is the small size of the locker next to your capsule. I wasn't able to fit my large bag in and had to sleep with it in the capsule.

I can't sleep at 2-floor bed. But I could sleep in capsule well. Capsule was big enough for me(180cm). But in summer little problem, which is if I turn on the fan it was little bit annoying, whether it was little bit hot.

This place was comfortable and clean, but the capsules were a little hot and stuffy. They had ventilation and a fan, but the fan didn't go fast enough, so they remained slightly uncomfortably warm. Everything else was great, though!

Staff was rather friendly and provided me with a beer voucher upon check-in. The place is clean and the room I had (I opted for a small compartment instead of merely a capsule in the wall) was well equipped. Wifi confused me a little. Few information in English, although that was okay for me - quite refreshing not having to read through all the rules. There's a spa and restaurant area on the second floor. Not beautiful, but comfy enough and quite an experience. Loved the (much too short) pyjamas.

Great For Male Solo Travelers”

One thing I don't like was they won't check me in as soons as I arrived in the inn. The guy said I'm a bit too early and the check in time is 3:00 pm. My flight arrived at 7 am what can I do? So just went back to the airport and waited another 5-6 hours before I can rest. This is outrageous being tired from your long flight only to find out you can't relax in the hotel right away. Wish they could change this. The other thing was the shower head which was so hard to control and won't stay on. I kept pushing that knob just to keep the water flowing which is another upsetting situation. Other than those got no other problem.

1 night stay as i reached haneda airport at late 11pm and it's near by the airport. I just take a shuttle bus cost 280yen from haneda airport to kamata JR station. The bus ticket is paid inside the bus, u didnt have to line up for the ticket at the counter inside the airport . The bed is comfortable, there's a small fan and even a radio inside the capsule. The shower room is abit awkward for foreigner to use. On the way, i walked from kamata station to the hostel at night around 12 midnight, there's some japanese guy loitering around which make me abit nervous and some ladies(doesnt look like japanese) standing at the corner.

Interesting stay at an authentic capsule hotel”

There is a public japanese bath, a common area, a restaurant, massage services (additional charges) and vending machines around. I am not sure if once checked in, are you allowed to go out because they sorta appropriate my shoes (stored in a locker where they keep the keys). All and all it was a good experience and definitely value for money.

Value for money hotel near haneda airport”

From Haneda airport, it is only a couple of stops away using the JR rail. But there is a short distance to walk to the hotel. The hotel is nearer to the Metro station. The capsule itself is tiny but good for a night stay. If you pay a little extra, you get your own private space with a table. All and all, it is value for money.

Budget & Just for a night stay”

Ok just for a night stay because my flight midnight (around 11pm) arrived at Haneda Int'l Airport and took a shuttle bus (Yen 280.-) to Kamata JR Station and just about 3 mins walking to hotel. Hostel check out time at 10am.

Fulfilled Purpose”

I used this airport after getting off a late-night flight. For the price, it is great value and excellent for short stays. Facilities were very clean. The only precaution is that if you travel with large suitcases, they may not fit inside the locker beside the capsules. That said, however, it is very safe to leave it outside the locker. Excellent value for money.

Stopover in Tokyo”

I selected the delux capsule option and found it better than what I expected it to be. Was very close to JR Kamata station and walking distance from another line connecting to Haneda airport. They gave an internet device to use in capsule so had good internet access.

I am just so full of praise for Capsule Inn Kamata! My flight touched down at 10pm at Haneda Airport so instead of rushing into central Tokyo, I thought I'd find a place to put up for the night before entering the city in the morning. I never regretted! In fact, I was looking forward to my stay here again after I checked out after the first night. You have your personal space instead of being clustered together with everyone else. The baths were great too! I suggest taking the public bus that runs from Haneda Airport straight to Kamata Station. The bus stops right outside Capsule Inn Kamata so there's no need to worry if you'll succeed in finding the hotel. Especially since it was late for me! This was an exceptionally pleasant hotel stay experience!
