Best hostel in Ikebukuro. Although a bit far from the station but it is easy to find. Very clean facilities and helpful staff. The breakfast was simple but nice. Highly recommend to female solo travellers.

Cosy place to stay”
The bed is cosy, the space of the room is slightly small because there is not much space to hang the coat and used towel. The common space is still a good place to chill and pack your luggage. The breakfast is so delicious, the coffee is great too! Really like the cafe downstairs. It is slightly further away from the Ikebukuro Station.

It's not bad, but not my first choice”
Pros- reasonable price for location, super nice staff, very clean, quiet dorm, enforced quiet hours. Cons- women's dorm did not have curtain in the window facing the main street and the sink area and my side of the bunk beds, so everyone from the street could see me doing my night and morning routine and on my way to and from anyone going in the shower. bar in middle of my back in the futon, open area between "powder room area" and showers and sleeping area, so everyone sleeping can hear everyone getting ready, brushing teeth, drying hair, packing/unpacking, etc., not very close to the station, but convenient.

A quiet hostel”
Quiet in a all aspects, and very clean too. It's located on a less busy road, a good 10 to 15 minute walk from Ikebukuro JR station. They have super delicious bread in the morning, but the bar closes early (around 11pm to midnight). You need to pay to rent a towel, and there's only one bathroom and toilet for every dorm room. The locker could fit in small valuables. The common room also closes at midnight, and it's sad because there's no common space where guests could hang out and just relax.

Far from the train station, if you go with big cast, don’t forget take bus or taxi! Even it says just 15 minutes from train station but walk like over 40 minutes if you’re never been there!

The hostel is clean and breakfast is nice. But it is quite far to walk from ikebukuro station.

Friendly owner and staff, Crowded room. ”
The owner of the place is very friendly. There is a nice bar downstairs, bar staff is also very nice. The bedroom is a little too small. We needed to put our backpack in bed. Also the shoe-off policy before entering in the room makes the entrance very smelly.

The hostel was great! Location was easy to find The staff were all very nice and friendly. Shower rooms were little small but no issue for a short stay. Beds were comfortable too and the cafe on the first level was great!

Pros: Staff is very friendly and nice. Very clean rooms and common areas (toilet, shower, pantry) Simple but cozy decor and soft bed. Free breakfast. Reasonable price. Cons: Late check-in time (4pm) No stove for cooking. Only a microwave is available. A bit far from ikebukuro station (10mins). No lift.

Located in a quiet setting next to a main road, this establishment has very clean facilities and the hosts will thoroughly go through with you the rules and regulations of the inn. Hirai-san and Yuko-san were very accommodating and friendly even though I woke up late to check out.

The dorm is very comfortable and clean. Is near to ikebukuro station very easy to find just beside the main road. I enjoyed the bread provided every morning especially the pineapple jam.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Very easy to locate and a short walk from the train station and limousine bus stop. Very close to a lot of shops and attractions in east Ikebukuro, and the hostel itself is close to numerous convenience stores, a small supermarket, and a post office (which is where I accessed an international ATM) — would definitely reconsider staying here the next time I visit Tokyo! Really comfortable bed, staff were very friendly and accommodating, and food is really tasty too. Highly recommended! If you are into hostel accommodations or are looking into trying a hostel for the first time, this is a really good place to stay.

Very good accommodation with low price. Good location which easily access to the metro or JR Ikebukuro station. Cozy place. I love the homemade apple jam from breakfast!!!
