Pros Great cabins for the price you pay, facilities inc. Bathroom are very clean. Staff is especially friendly and helpful, please talk to Nozji or Aya if you want to fill up your itinerary. Breakfast is quite good with homemade salads each morning. Cons Bed was creaky at times so it may have awoken bottom bunk patron.

Best hostel I've ever been in!”
Everything was clean, staff was really friendly and the location is minutes away from major train stations. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo!

High Quality Hostel with Good Location”
I check-in for dorm bed in 6 Beds Room. Room door unlock by keycard and your Locker available inside the room. Rest Room/Shower Room is available in same floor. Can go to JR Asakusabashi in 3 min. Staff is Friendly.

Fine for a couple of nights”
If you are someone who can live without anything too luxurious (such as your own bathtub, a King-sized bed, etc), then Grids is perfectly fine for you to stay in for a few nights. Don't expect too much room to throw your things around (you shouldn't do so anyway). The wifi is fast and available in all parts of the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Good hostel for group travel”
Pros: It’s in a great location and the staff speaks good English. The rooms are clean and there are safe lockers to store your stuff. Cons: the rooms are extremely tight. You have your bunk beds and a small walk way in the rooms. And the showers and toilets are small too. Very cramped and almost to the point of claustrophobic. The worst part about this place is there’s only ONE elevator and you can’t use the stairs to get up and down. It’s only for emergencies. And if you want to do laundry, there’s only 2 washers and 1 dryer. And it’s VERY SMALL. You can’t put a lot in there and the dryers and dry very well.

The hostel got everything you need. Clean sheet and bed. Air con. Clean toilets. Big shower room. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It’s a place where you can have a good sleep and head out exploring the city.

I stayed 4-shared room and that hostel has one shower room per floor. Even if the hostel has the common area but, in my view, that space is too narrow for a number of people. However, the hostel is good to make friend with other guys because the hostel has an event on special day, new year day, for example.

Stayed in female room. You have to prepare your bed. Dusty and uncomfortable. The bathroom is dirty too.

Exzellent”
If you're always out and about, Grids Tokyo Asakusabashi is the place to stay to get a good night sleep while travelling on a budget. The place is nearby the station and convenience stores. Our room came with its own bathroom which was amazing. We love the shower gels and shampoos so it's nice for people who are travelling light (don't need to bring towels too).

Amazing place”
The hostel was in an amazing location and staff were all incredibly friendly and quite fluent in English so it was easy to communicate with them. Highly recommend this hostel.

Professional and clean hostel”
It’s a safe hostel in a safe area, about 15 - 20 minutes by foot to Akihabara, but that can be a pain so I’d take the train one stop instead. The beds are small but comfy and in the winter the room ac heater worked well. Shower got nice and hot with good water pressure. They are a basic, no-frills hostel and priced accordingly.

Cozy place, friendly staff, near a train station.”
Stayed for a few days with my wife and kids. Quiet neighborhood with lots of local restaurants close by. Train station was walking distance. Will stay again when we go back.

Recommend, would stay again. ”
I stayed in a dorm room but it still felt like I had privacy. Shower and toilet were very clean. The common space at 10th floor is a small kitchen. I didn't cook during my stay but it looked small compared to the hostels I have stayed before.

Every service is chargeable. The price is high considering it is a hostel. For the next time, i will go to a hotel with +2000jpy.

Perfect spot in Tokyo”
First of all the location is great! Location is a huge point while doing sightseeing. You can walk to the famous electronic town and also to Asakusa. The Asakusa line brings you directly to the airport for only 1310¥. Take Chuo Sobu line for a quick trip to Shinjuku. The staff is helpful. Especially the guy at the evening duty yesterday was really friendly. There is free water and strong wifi Breakfast can be booked for over 600¥ which I wouldn’t recommend- rather go and enjoy delicious Japanese food The hostel is comfortable and so clean! I loved it. Plus they have a whole women floor on 2 & 3 which is great! They provide not only shampoo, shower gel and conditioner but also slippers, hair dryer and four different kind of face treatments Bed is super comfortable and very clean I love the capsule style with lots of privacy and usb and normal charging option. Lockers available and you don’t need your own lock. Only downside is the towels. Please provide them for free instead of charging That would be great

Good location”
If you are looking for a good location, the hostel is located near the train station and the big avenue with lot of shops and food. Check in is at 4pm (so late!) and no way to enter before whereas the check out is at 10am. We took the mix dormitory for 6 person and the room is very small but manageable. Bathroom and toilet are cleaned but the bins in the corridor could be emptied more often. Coffee there is great and the staff is friendly.
