Das Personal ist gold Wert, wir kamen spät Abend nach unserem Flug im Hotel an und haben kein Parkplatz gefunden, deshalb haben wir im Parkhaus 200m weiter geparkt (der Hotel Parkplatz war voll) als wir eincheckten haben wir die Autoschlüssel abgegeben und unser Auto stand am nächsten Tag vor der Tür auf dem Hotel Parkplatz (uns wurde keinerlei Ticketgebühr für das Parkhaus berechnet) das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut und trotz weniger Auslastung sehr gut gefehlt, auch die Lage ist super. Wir können es nur empfehlen

na ja die strasse wierd neu gemacht man muss ans hotel laufen und das die die naechsten 2jahre super dan bessers zimmmer gebucht und ein schlechtes bekommen war nur eine nacht aber es lohn sich nicht fuer mehr geld

Das Hotel liegt in der Altstadt.Nur zum Übernachten ist es vollkommen o.k..Wlan kostenlos.Frühstück lässt zu wünschen übrig,wenig Auswahl.

Tolle Lage aber kleine Zimmer "”

Ideales Hotel für eigene Erkundungen im Kolonialviertel. Eine Fahrt mit der Kutsche zu Beginn zeigt die Ausdehnung der Sehenswürigkeiten. Es ist keine Führung nötig, wenn man sich ein bisschen vorbereitet hat. Länger als eine Nacht ist nicht ubedingt empfehlenswert. Empfangsdame war ziemlich schnippisch, der Kellner sehr nett und freundlich.

Somewhat overpriced, but I would definitely book again for the location! Pros: location, great breakfast, most of the staff was very nice (especially Carolos!), free wi-fi, fitness center, good A/C Cons: overpriced, I was downgraded from the room I booked, room safe was broken (there was a hole where the lock should be), no hangers in the closet, very noisy inside the hotel - you can hear everything, a couple of rude people at the front desk and rude restaurant manager, they tried to charge me for the mini bar that I didn't touch

We enjoyed our stay at Hodelpa Caribe Colonial Hotel. Free parking was a bonus, frendly staff always looking to help.

A friend and I went to the DR for a week - traveled a bit and this was our only night in Punta Cana. Since it was only 1 night we just wanted a small place. This fit the bill Not a big all inclusive place, but were treated to a drink upon arrival, staff was friendly, bar was well priced. Nice little beach with chairs, room was a good size (had a room with a double bed and a single) Didn't have a tv, but no worries - we were there for 1 night before flying out. We has a street side room, had a little balcony, but not much to be seen out there. We had a car and parking wasn't too bad.

Cozy action oriented ”

Great place to stay that puts you right in the middle of seeing all the sights. Seems to be some single traveler action all around but not over whelming. There were guides who would walk up and give you a tour of the area. At they end they will all for payment but will accept what ever you donate . It's worth about $10 to me.

Hodelpa is close to nightlife and rest area ”

It is good hotel but outside was big excavations and public works but generally it is well located

I liked the hotel. It was in a great location, and the breakfast was very good. I particularly liked Ana, the waitress. She was very professional and helpful with my questions about how to get around in the city. The hotel was also very secure. They had a guard on watch 24 hours. The road that the hotel is located on, Catolica Isabel, is torn up and under construction. It will probably be under construction for at least the next year. I did not appreciate how this was not mentioned. The construction made it very difficult to get to the hotel and parking at the hotel was not available.

Good Hotel for price”

My stay was quite nice. The hotel staff was friendly and very attentive. I liked the fact it is close to to parks, clubs, shops, eating places, etc. The only complaint I have was my bed was a little hard. But other than that I enjoyed my stay and will be staying here again when I return to the Dominican Republic.

small room, not too much clean, bad view, old building, the room we book is too much different from pictures. Most staffs are not fluent in English. Anyway, breakfast is good.
