Exzellent”
It's a good hotel, although along the way from train station there is way too many Love Hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. it's close to convenience store and you can buy many foods if you're hungry in the middle of the night. Location is close to the train, so you can travel pretty much everywhere you want as long as they train can take you to. The question i have about this hotel, are they love hotel?? even though it doesn't feel like it

Sehr gut”
Reasonable price hotel with nice, clean room and friendly staff, although the location is a bit far from the train station. The breakfast @ 350 yen per person is cheap, offering local Japanese buffet. Enjoy the food very much.

Hotel under renovation”
The hotel is under renovation and we only know when we arrived. We appreciate if we can be informed via email or during booking. However, we can stay in the hotel, our room is standard queen bed room, and it is spacious, just that we can't open the window and lookout as it is under renovation.

Great Value, Great Room, Location Pretty good”
This hotel is located about a 4 minute walk from Uguisudani station. To get to and from the station you will walk past a number of "love hotels". I certainly would not characterize the neighborhood as dangerous, but if you are bothered by that sort of thing, then be aware. If you are walking from Nippori station, it is actually a lovely 8 minute walk through Yanaka cemetery. Walking in from that direction, you avoid all of the love hotels. The hotel is located close to the train tracks, and you could hear the trains. The room itself was spacious, there was a little table, a small couch a cook top, and a refrigerator. There was a microwave in the vending area outside the room. We were given complimentary tickets for a really nice Japanese breakfast buffet. Check in and check out was at noon, which worked out well for us. There are extra pillows, blankets, and robes available at the front desk. We even received a small gift bag of premium toiletries at check in.

One of the Cheapest yet it provides complete facilities!”
•located between Nippori(800m) and Uguisudani station(400m). Easily accesible if from narita airport; just ride the keisei skyliner and get off at nippori stn. • vending machine (drinks and a cup noodle) for every floor. Ice vending machine also available for free • breakfast buffet for only ¥350! What a steal! • accomodating staff ; they’ll be the ones to ask you if you need umbrellas if the weather is gloomy/rainy then they’ll let you borrow theirs’. • daily towel, robes, toiletries change even when not asked. Daily supply of bottled water and coffee sachets • clean room slippers provided • bigger room compared to other hotels ; with sofa, electric kettle, microwave oven, dinner plates and cups and glasses • tiny bathroom (usually in Japan) • comfy bed. But pillows were flat. • massage chair at the ground floor can be used for free • hotel is just beside the train tracks ; but it didn’t bother our sleep • safe to walk at night. Convenience stores and some small restos are near the train stations. • grocery (maruetsu petit) is just a 5-minute walk away. • will definitely recommend this to other tourists! Will stay again here for sure!

Not so good location.”
If you are looking for a cheap rate, then you can consider this hotel. However, this hotel is located in the area where many nearby hotels are offering short time stays. According to locals, this is a not so good area as well especially for families with small kids. The train station is quite far from the hotel but it's less than 1 km though. Facilities are very basic but you may consider it decent enough. The hotel staff is highly trained and accommodating. Overall, the hotel is good enough except for its location.

Great Place you stay”
If you don’t mind being near “Love hostels” this hotel is a great location and a great value of your money. It is. Wet near Uguisidani station, like 5-10minute walk which will connect you to Major cities like Ueno, Shinjuku and Shibuya by train , you may opt to walk going to Nippori Station (if you’re bound for NRT airport, there is a direct train from Nippori) but if you choose to take the taxi/cab it would cost you less than 700yen. The hotel staff are very accommodating though they might have a hard time expressing themselves in English, they are able to understand you and articulate what they want to tell.

Near train station.”
The hotel looks a bit old but well-kept. It is near the train station about mins walk. There was a small convenient store. The surrounding area is quiet sleepy. The room was small like all the hotels in Japan even the door was small. I love their toilettries. They provide you with a small kitchen which I like but I had problems accessing my luggage since there isn't much space. They should just get rid of the sofa & table as it is already crowded. I don't like the pillows, they were like rocks & apparently the hotel is next to the train line so I had difficulty sleeping as it was super noisy. The train passes by like every 5 minutes & it was as if the train is open 24 hours.

Fantastisch”
The hotel serves great food for breakfast that varies per day. I just don't like the location where it is like hidden and is also surrounded by motels and narrow roads. The nearest way to the hotel is via the Uguisudani station through the North Exit. Another problem is that there's no elevator available from that station which would be a burden if you've got plenty of heavy baggages.

First time staying here”
Hotel Cerezo is located between Nippori Station and Uguisudani Station on the JR Yamanote line. If you planning to stay here, my advice would be to alight at Uguisudani Station and walk there - it'll be around a 4 minutes walk and it's pretty straightforward. The hotel room itself offers pretty much everything you would expect from the photos here, but the one I stayed in (with a single double bed) feels quite old, though admittedly still ok. Hotel buffet breakfast in the morning is decent, although selection is just moderate as you are limited to 6-8 dishes. The breakfast area is quite small, and sits just 4 tables. Overall, I would say Cerezo is ok, but I will be choosing other hotels in the same price range the next time I visit Tokyo.

Very near to the train station”
I would only recommend this hotel if you're looking for a rather budget hotel very near to the train station in the city area, in this case the Uguisudani Station (next station after Ueno Station). This hotel is located at a rather shady part of the city, surrounded by numerous love hotels. As a solo traveler who would usually go back quite late at night, it's quite scary walking alone from the station to the hotel. The facility is quite old, but quite okay for staying only 3 nights. Bed and pillows were not comfortable. One thing I didn't like was that it still uses only keys for your room door, and you'll need to hand in / collect back your keys at the counter every time you're going in/out of the hotel. But the staffs are very friendly and tries their best to help you.

Ok hotel”
As you can read in other reviews, the location is within the suburbs of a red district area. However surprisingly quiet, which is good. The hotel is abit old, and the lighting is abit dark in the reception and room. But room is spacious enough compared to other hotels within Tokyo district. Family travelling with kids be vary with them flipping the TV channels (there is a particular channel you dont want them to see!) Overall ok hotel for no frills.
